I deleted all photos/files inside the folder "camera" within the "DCIM" folder, after that my camera won't work.
It goes blank and states "no active camera". I did reinstall the new CM.7.2, but didn't work.
Will someone share some insight or suggestions please?
Add the folder "camera" in the dcim and see if that fixes it

sounds like your camera is hosed. try formatting the sd card from within the ROM (backup first to PC)

When I flashed the Supreme Rom, I did the partition. The actual error is "no access to camera". Any other ideas? please.
How to format SD card from WITHIN the rom? Do it at recovery? or Rom manager?

You format/partition from recovery. But like you said the error is no the sd sounds like a camera file was borked. Did you do a full wipe and reflash after the camera went wonky.
Try to manually format
System
Data
Cache
And wipe dalvik cache
To manually format is in mounts and storage and to wipe dalvik its in advanced parts of recovery

After the camera broke, I installed the supreme, and went thru, all format listed, still no luck.
But why just deleting the photos mess up the camera?
Really appreciate you all... must be something to fix this

You don't remeber ever like deleting a System file? So far the camera broke on cm 7.2 and flashing Supreme didn't fix it. So try the sparksco rooted ROM on ROMmanager, I know it sounds weird but its worth a shot, newSENSE,MikShifted and SS all use a non shift camera which has different libs and such so maybe an all Stock ROM would piece in what your missing?

No. As of right now everything is completely seperate. Once I get this tested and released I will begin looking into sharing data and either creating an app or a new recovery.
Id like to help, but have a question...
Currently running CM 6.1 rc1.. ive got an 8gb sd card with apps installed and other misc files taking up about 75% of the card... would i be able to power off the phone and just install another sd card when i want to switch roms? Or is this something that runs in one rom, shuts down the active rom and boots the 2nd?
Where is the info for the dual boot stored?

You will need 350Mb on the sdcard. I might make several different scripts depending on what you are running since CM6 is so small and doesn't need 200Mb for system

I ran into a problem with unzipping the rom.zip on the phone so I gotta figure out how to do that. All my test were done from the computer and I just put everything into scripts. If I can get that worked out you can flash rom1 the way you normally do and rom2 would not mess with mtd partitions.

Now I root my phone I got S-OFF Now I did Nand back up or whatever is call, and then I tried to install a rom,
everything went good it install the rom but when I reboot goes to the white screen HTC EVO 4G and stays there for ever!
I restore my phone and try to do it with different rom, I did it and same thing happens, it gets stuck on that screen!
Im trying to follow a little tutorial I found here but they dont explain much or they are old with diffent way to root (I used the new Revolutionary way)
and Im just a noob on this. also Idk if i just start From the begining Im lost! plase help. Thanks
Make sure to wipe everything but your sdcard before you flash the ROM and see how that goes and if you get stuck at the splash screen you could try pulling the battery and going to recovery by holding down volume and power then try to wipe cache and dalvik cache.

Ok, I am a complete noob to this. I am getting a HTC Nexus One and would like to install a custom ROMon it, preferably CyanogenMod, but I'll see what you guys suggest first.
I need a version that will run fast and still use all (or close to all) the phones features easily and with out a hitch. I am not a programmer and have little patience when it comes to debugging issues.
I am aware of the process to install ROM's and need no introductory to the process, just a point in the right direction in terms of with ROM or CM version runs the fastest on a Nexus One and with as few bugs.

Yes you still able to use gapps, just flash it like you flash the ROM. If you're new to flashing custom ROMs, you might want to do some reading before playing with your phone.

I'm asking a question about that ROM... I created a partion EXT4 with 4ext 1gb large, the rest of the space is for another partition with FAT32.
After i've installed the ROM, i launched the command "a2sd install"; everything went fine but after the installation of some apps, the market said it needed more space, even if there's plenty of space.

Do a full wipe by going into recovery> backup and restore option> click toggle backup and restore of internal storage(/data/media), Then back to main menu, click mount and storage menu > format /data. Be warned, this will erase and delete everything on you tablet, therefore you need to flash some ROM afterward.
