I'm guessing you either didn't read that thread or you're saying they aren't good developers. Either way, you are getting off to a bad start.

check this website: http://www.sense4all.nazuka.net/
they have athread some where in xda too

I guess you didn't read. that is not old news and this is a different port and the work of: Drew Garen. not all ports are the same you know...
Its not a beta.. its a custom SDK rom/.

Port of ICS SENSE?

So, the Sensation seems to have a ICS SENSE rom and I was wondering, could this be ported? There is a ported ROM already in the development section, but for gingerbread, would it be possible to port this too?

Lol suprstar got the thread up first, but b-eock called it first a few days ago. What's the call on this one?

Well we were trying to male a mod for it... Didn't work. I hope he will like close and join forces with my friend

Devs need to "figure it out" themselves or Moderators have to look at it. What ever the case Ports should be somewhat chosen by the original dev its based on.

You guys better watch out for the Turk. He just beat your release.
Sorry for the confusion everybody, I just made a new user name. I gotta make like two changes to the build.prop when I get home then I'm uploading. Quick vote for future users. The current dpi is 182. Does every one want 240 dpi or 182 dpi?

Maybe you can fix the typo in the thread title. I think the original ROM is called "SLIM ICS", not "SILM ICS".

Call is no ROM posted, no thread should be opened. There are no placeholders in the Dev section, only in data/app!!
Thread closed
Placeholders are not allowed on XDA.

Compilation Roms

Hey folks, when I was on the T989 GSII there was a group of awesome developers called All Star Developers that did a couple compilation ROMS meaning (CM, PA, AOKP) I looked through the development threads and didn't see anything quite like it. At least not anything that specifically states it's a compilation ROM. Am I missing anything? Or do we just kinda lack that style of ROM on the Nexus 4? If indeed we do have, what would you consider to be the most stable one?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
Keep looking. It's in Android development.

Ok. So they're not in original development... Who's the developer? Are those relatively stable here on the Nexus 4?
Sent from my Nexus 4 using xda app-developers app
With all due respect, you should go to the development section, find the ROM you're interested it, and start reading, rather than relying on someone explaining it all to you. All the info is there.

Yeah its stable like everything else on this phone and I have used PACman ROMs they are great and I think they are only in android development that's because the dev didn't create all three ROMs

Of course it won't be original. It's all based off other dev's work.

I guess that's true. I'm just looking for opinions (reviews) from people who may have used them and have some experience with the ones available. Just a general question for the "General" thread.

That's probably the best explanation of the difference between these two threads. Thanks I'll remember that from now on.

I know is been tasked about before but no one has done it. So please? Or is it just dead and there is no hope?

I don't even know what cornerstone is, maybe asking in a thread where it's actually used.
A normal person would look it up. Don't be an ass.
Sent from my HTC One using xda premium
I think I remember reading in other threads here that cornerstone hasn't been updated to function with current versions of android and porting it would be incredibly difficult... Unless I'm thinking of a different mod...

I don't think it's out of line to expect the OP to include relevant information in a request thread.

The last that I saw on it was that it was not exactly playing well with 4.2.2. It has a nasty habit of breaking other apps, causing users to give them poor reviews in the play store. As such, the Android team has justifiably threatened to ban roms that use Cornerstone from the play store.
