most of the roms are pretty stable, the hd2 has been running android for a good while, plenty of time to work the bugs out. the sense 3.5 roms are still buggy, but everything else runs pretty good, aside from maybe little things here n there

I like this one, I tried quite a few of the roms, and I used this one the longest, the battery life on this is pretty and everything is pretty stable.
Hello to all, I have a simple question i hope, i would like to change the operating system on my HD2 from Win 6.5 to Android 4.xx. Ive been looking at all the great work the chefs have done on here but i cant decide which one to use. So in a nutshell which custom 4.xx ROM is the most stable for my device and im using tomtom on my phone but i been told it wont work on android,is there any sat nav out there as good as tomtom that will work on android.
Many thanks,
Chris.

There are only 3 choices: AOSP, CM9 and MIUI. Go for either CM9 or MIUI. If you want stability then just use a CM7 or MIUI GB ROM.
I selected CM9 when I looked for new android version. I think you should try both and select yours.
But 1st: read cearfully ALL win-> android instructions!

Yeah a CM9 rom will be a good choice but do not expect a perfect build as ICS is still a work in progress. As for navi, google navigation does the job quite well imho
I am using NexusHD2-ICS-4.0.3-CM9 V1.2 from Tytung.
I dare to say it is very stable until now - using it from 2 weeks.
Only 2 apps are not working - Gallery (working whit some bugs from time to time) and FM radio.
For the 2 native apps Tytung did post 2 different apps that you are able to use.
Also READ THE INSTRUCTIONS before doing anything to the phone.
For 2.3.x rom i recommend (i flash roms allot) HyperDroid-CM7-v5.8.0[a2sd][CyanogenMod7 LEO 2.3.7][seader_R9]
Have fun.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?? I want a completely stable and fast MIUI Rom.. Thanks..

The first MIUI rom I tried on my HD2 was the one provided by MIUI themselves (or whatever they're called) I used it for a LONG time without having any problems... Few months later trying WP7, I kind of messed up and invariably my phone would random reboot either on WP7 or Android... That didn't happen with the stock winMo 6.5 rom though, but thats' a pain to use :|
what is? i want to change it?
my livingroom is stable,just a joke:silly:
i think you should test jellycast, but the other roms are stable too,so test and see.
Im using latte rom right now and its stable so far - after several days. Tried cm9, mui, ginger vers and so far this one is my fav. But all of those are more/less stable. All have some bugs so yeah search a bit and see ppl opinions and exp on particular rom.
It's hard to answer what is the most stable ROM. It's based on preferences and use of each user, so try them all and find what suits well for you.
Hey,
I've got the HTC HD2 phone and want to flash a rom because with windows phone 6.5 I cannot download apps via the app store, since it has been disabled.
I want to flash a very stable rom for daily use. I'm ok with windows phone, but also with android.
Please give me a tip, which rom is really good and stable for daily use?
Thank you very much!
Best rom is NexusHD2-ICS by Tytung. I reach 5 days with the original HTC Expanded battery 2300mha. With the original 2 days. I got that Rom from 2012 and working like a sharm.
Hi There
