please help. can no longer flash from card (RESOLVED)

Hi
Have been flashing roms all the time without issue.
I've tried to flash my mobile and get to HSPL boot screen but it doesn't recognise the leoimg.nbh no matter which rom i use
It says 'loading...' on a grey screen then goes to the red/green/blue screen and has 'serial' at the bottom.
i've tried upgrading hspl to 1.66 and also mtty format, oth worked fine, I now just can't flash any rom to the phone
Can anyone advise how I could sort this? could send paypal for your time if you can help me sort it
Cheers
ok
format again microsd to fat32,microsd not microsdhc,
charge your battery, must bt shure your rom its ok not corupted
Hi
Have tried all of this but still no joy at all.
Does anyone else have a suggestion or is there another process that can be used for flashing if a direct flash from memory card doesn't work but the phone is formatted?
Thanks in Advance
Adam
In case anyone has a similar problem:
I installed drivers for phone in bootloader USB mode from the mtty thread.
Set the phone to bootloader and plugged in usb and was able to flash from PC without having to be in winmo
I still can't flash from card but as this way works, it's not an issue.
Cheers

[Q] Rom Update Utility

Hi all
I have put the HD2 back to the stock ROM and want to get a NANDROID rom on.
Ive D/L MAGLDR and im trying to run the rom update utility but it just refuses to find a connection with the phone. Ive set it to connect as Active Sync and as a mass storage and ive tried the various different ports on my laptop. Can anyone help please
Try boot HardSPL by holding down the volume key while pressing turn on then flash the MAGLDR RomUpdateUtility from there.
Try another usb cable if you have one.
Try installing HTC Sync and this will install drivers for the phone. I can't post external links right now but do a Google search for "htc sync".
i thought if you put stock rom back on, you need to go through the process of putting hardspl back on first

ROM code error and unrecognised USB connection...urgent help!

Guys,
im in extremely deep **** now.I accidentally tried flashing a stock ROM via SD card and now ive gt a ROM code error and 00028002 'Not Allow" error. What makes this worse is that my Vista computer is not recognizing any USB connection when i connect my HD2 to the computer. If i need to flash a stock rom via RUU wrapper to get through this stupid ROM code error, i need a USB connection on the first place...which IS NOT WORKING NOW!!!...im using a 512MBLeo,which is now stuck at SPL-1.42(previously HSPL)...im sitting duck here guys...i really really need your help on this one.i cant boot normally into 6.5,i cant flash a new ROM,i cant use bootloader and flash a LEOIMG using SD card cus it returns the above errors and i cant use my PHONE!!!...im extremely frustrated and helpless.please help guys...thanks alot...
If I understand you can still get to bootloader correct?
Exactly what official ROM did you try to flash?
Where did you get the ROM from?
Just so you know you can still flash HSPL with the 1.42.0000 SPL you have.
ROM code error usually means that official ROM is not for that HD2.
I flashed '1.48.405.2' which i downloaded from the net(http://theunlockr.com/2010/04/22/how-to-get-the-htc-hd2-back-to-stock/)...I tried flashing LEOIMG(SD card method) from Elegancia GTX v5.0 ROM,but thats returning the same error plus...it gets stuck on the white 'loading screen'.I know i can flash HSPL or any other stock rom with my current SPL,but my USB connection is not working...thats exactly the problem now...any idea where to get the actual stock ROM for my HD2?...Maybe that might prevail...Thanks.

Yes go to htc.com amd enter the serial number of your HD2 (can be found under the battery) and it will only let you download the ROMs that are for your HD2. Also make sure the HTC site you go to is for your part of the world, It has links on the site to go to HTC sites for other countries.
As for your no USB go to your device manager in control panel and find your HD2 ther while it is connected via USB it will be listed as unknown, mobile device, or something like that but it will be there. Just click on it once to get it to drop down to the actual device and then right click it and select update drivers and then select from internet. If this does not work download the latest version of Windows Mobile Device Center (WMDC) and install it to your computer and this should give you the drivers you need.
Alright ill try all that and get back to you. Thanks alot for your advice!

First,i would like to say thanks to you, T-Macgnolia.The ROM downloaded from the HTC website, which i flashed via sd card worked like a dream...However, the same cant be said for my USB connection though(I tried everything you said). My computer still keeps dropping USB connections intermittently...i miraculously managed to flash HSPL 3 on my HD2 just before the USB connection dropped.I was running WM 6.5 and android previously and i want to dual boot wp7 and android...which needs a USB connection(for MAGLDR and WP7)...Charging works fine via AC charger and via USB port(its just USB connection itself...any ideas where the fault lies?).i personally think the problem lies with my USB cable(as other devices work fine with the USB ports in my laptop). Guess i just have to buy a new micro usb cable(...thanks for your advice again.

Yeah buy a new cable and see if that helps. If the problem pursists then you probably have a problem with the pins in your micro USB port of your HD2 that are randomly loosing connection to the main board because the solder points for the USB port is become cracked, loose, or just seperating for some reason. You might can find a cell phone repair shop that can resolder the connections for you are just Chang the intierior main board out for you ifcthis is the problem.

[q] htc hd2 flashing rom issue
Can anybody help me.I have MAGDLR and the Bootloader installed by a previous chap who owned the phone, all the correct versions. THe phone HD2 (T-Mobile), when I got it, had Gingerbread on,but the FM radio was not working,
so I thought an Upgrade was in order. I went to the MIUI website and downloaded the latest stable rom and followed the instructions as best as possible, but I had problems with the
Bootloader going from Serial to USB and being able to flash the rom like that. I then tried the loading the rom ZIP file to the SD card, and then using Clockwork orange recovery to
to install the ZIP file from SD card. That being said, I rebooted and the phone just stayed hung on the HTC logo screen. (And I didn't do a back up, before I started.)
I eventualy found a Jaws MIUI rom, that instaling via Clockwork Orange, worked, but it is Froyo and not a lot of stuff works very well. What is the correct procedure to install
from SD card, with Clockwork Mod Recovery? The Roms that I download, do I have to unpack the zip, do something on the files? I have read that depending on the rom that you have, when
doing a ClockWorkMod Recovery installation, that you need to have the right Size partition or image disk version of the Clockwork recovery MOD, But I can't swap and change this as my USB does not work between the phone and the PC.
I have installed active sysnc, does not work and I have tried this both on my Desktop and Laptop. As the one response suggests, Formatting your PC seems a bit extreme.
Help, Pleeeeeeeeez!
Thanks

Hello, I'd love to mention one thing bec I got the same problem like some fri. No need to worry fri.My problem troubleshooting is " Just install Windows Mobile Device Center". Thanks all and I love xda.

Help me please to fix my phone

My phone got a little liquid on it and after that it frozen so I did a soft reset and now my phone is freezing on android boot screen every time. The problem is what my MAGLDR is not working properly now too and my ClockworkMod Recovery is not working at all, so I don't know how to reinstall soft now. The MAGLDR is kind of flashing always and its hard to control as sometime its not reacting to my button push. And then I try to go into ClockworkMod Recovery its just starts loading, does that 1234 go and it freezes on it, every time. But besides all this stuff my phone looks like working fine, just looks like it just has some software damage. I think it should work with a new soft if not at least I can send it to my insurance as I will change a soft back to normal, because now my insurance will not fix my phone as it freezes on android boot screen so whey will see that I have android and not windows. Waiting for any good advice. Thank you
Btw. My original boot loader is not working too, I can't get in to it. I think its because of the android.
i suggest flash the stock rom first , then do all the work again flash MAGLDR and then recovery and then the android rom you want to use and read the instruction for your device if you using hd2 EU or hd2 T-Mobile ... good luck

'USB mass storage is working fine'
You may be able to flash a stock ROM from the SD card but I think it involves the bootloader. Have a look at This thread and see if it helps (I CBA to read it properly, sorry )
Thanks, but yes it involves the bootloader
Does Bootloader normally work if MAGLDR & ClockworkMod Recovery is installed on device?
yea man its working fine in my phone .... okay how about if you get your phone and connect it to another pc ... maybe the wrong with your pc ... and run the usb flasher and flash the stock rom bro

Yeah that's a good point. If you can, trying PCs with different versions of Windows could help (i.e. XP, Vista, Windows 7 etc.)
Ok so I managed to connect my phone via USB Flasher on my work computer and I installed "[30.DEC.10][DFT]LEO "Stock Desire" NAND Android ROM" without any problems but my phone still stucks on DFT Boot screen. I also tried to reinstall MAGLDR and ClockworkMod Recovery to get Clockwork Recovery work but it didn't work, it didn't change anything. Does any one have any ideas what can I do next? Is it possible to install wm 6.5 via USB Flasher? As I know it needs bootloader Does any one have more ideas how to fix it?
yea bro install the stock rom as wm6.5 using the usb flasher ... get it back to the stock then re-install any rom you want

I can't! Because wm 6.5 requires connection between bootloader or active sinc, there is not other way when instaling wm 6.5, and none of them work now on my device
take a look here, we have the same issue too... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=899628&page=7
