Hi guys!
I search for a stable, (lightweight), true and fast cooked ROM. I use now a CM7.2 based 2.3.7 ROM, named IceArmor II. What's the best ROM now? CM, MIUI, etc.
I need:
- German and Hungarian laungage
- back button ends call (?)
- FM Radio
Thx the help!

Hi Peeps,
I have just sold my Wildfire to my Bro but the custom ROM that's on there at present is buggy in that it hangs of completely freezes up.
I told him I would put a stock ROM back on the phone so that it is more stable.
Does anyone have a link either directed to XDA or outside the forum that will help me find the download for a 2.1 or 2.2 Stock Wildfire ROM as I need this for stability of the phone, big thanks in advance!
Shipped ROM's

You can try stock 2.3.5.
Another option is cyanogen mod 7.1

This thread of xda is for I9000.
The OP also have the key word I9000.
Why suggest to use ROM built for I9100?

Personally I think that the best ROM he should try is: Simple Beautyone.
And one advantage, as this is ROM for HD2, based on Windows Mobile 6.5, it is even more irrelevant for him than yours...
IMHO, use MIUI as its very clean..
Then flash MyUI EnhancerMOD v3.0
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1304240
I am using it whole day today, with heavy use of wifi and 3g, battery 15% at 9pm (on single charge), and the speed is awesome.
Hi,
I have two roms I like to use:
Juwe's rom, now v6 version
Doctors rom, also v6 version.
Both rom are based on 2.3.5 JVT including Semaphone kernel 1.8.
Personally I prefer Doctors rom because it is very fast and the battery lasts for me 50-70 hours.

Lol. No. Only mods can close threafs
Well I will lock both. I'm getting annoyed at people being to lazy to search and read the forums. This is a development forum not a "make my phone cool" forum. There are no best, or better roms/kernels/app. It's a matter of opinion. If you want German and Hungarian laungage, back button ends call (?), FM Radio then I suggest you go to the development forums and read the threads for the roms.
Cheers

My favorite Rom is the TiramiSlim Rom. Bevor i flash that Rom, i change my Roms again and again.
The Rom TiramiSlim is very smooth and fast and very stable.
When you want to flash a Rom, try out the TiramiSlim Rom.
you can try cm9..slim...but i personally would go
for aokp...

I flashed a new ROM for the first time a few weeks ago.
I chose ICS333: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1618757
I followed the step by step flashing guide (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1637966) and everything went smoothly. I find battery life quite acceptable, better than with Gingerbread.
I am using tiramislim too. It is by far the best i have used & the customizations on this are amazing.
Very impatiently waiting for the final version.
Yes tiremislin v2 is good... Try it..
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda app-developers app
I also tried a few roms, I'm now with TiramiSlim 2.0 and so far... pretty good...:good:
CM9 latest nightlies + Devil or Semaphore kernel :good:
CM9 rc2 + devil kernel..so far satisfied..
Sent from my GT-I9000 using xda app-developers app
TiramiSlim 2.0 & Sempahore kernel, fast-stable-smooth :good: the best
If you haven't chosen anything yet, I'll throw CM10 alpha in the pot. Really great for a Jelly Bean alpha build, you can really feel the butter .
SlimICS for me, I went from stock to Darky 9->11 I think, then Gamerz rom from 8->11 too and now I am on Slim ICS 4.2 and I have to say that it's light and smooth. Battery got a slight boost with proper tweaking too.

I think that the tutorial on androidauthority quite nice, I followed that to update my phone to slim ics.
Instructions are clear. Just go there (I can't post link yet I think) and search i9000 with root you should have plenty of tutorials, take one that ask you to upgrade to XXJW or something like that, then, it explain how to root it and install CWM. Once done, you have a based that can be flashed to any rom.
Thank you for the information, I'll check out the link and let you have the feedback!

Even though i respect other devs work i thought it wasn't necessary to add the older ROMS.
This thread is better than the others.
But still needs something more , like to separate the roms by Froyo based roms , GB based roms and ICS based roms.
It seems like you can flash any rom with any baseband which is not right.

Hello staca
Could you do me a favor and modify your 1st post a little bit?
1st of all I would like to delete my B927 ICS mod from there, since it has no meaning now that B928 exists
Secondly can you fix this line : " ([ROM Release] Customized B9280)/Moihack" and make it "([ROM Release] Customized B928)/Moihack" ??? It's just a 0 but I'm kinda crazy
Also can you include this rom in GB roms sections? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1738140
It's my 1st work here, but not that old and also the only B572 modded stock rom I have in mind here.
Finally can you add a "Geno Port - Customized by Moihack" next to CM 7.2 release ?
Thanks in advance! Keep it up!
