hey guys im new at this and not very good in english because i am from germany but nevermind.
I wanted to flash the ICS Primo sense 4,0 rom and it told me my paration had to be 5/450/5 but after i did this and i wanted to go to the recovery it said
Spinning around and something like that
how do i fix this

If you are new at this, forget about flashing ICS Primo Sense 4.0
It's an alpha version, with many things not working.
Get something more stable like CM9, IceCreamTosti or whatever.

+1 to both giving more information and flashing a much more stable ROM. If you flash NexusHD2 or IceCreamTosti you'll be much happier. ICS without Sense (i.e. the ones I mentioned) are much more stable and faster than that Alpha ROM. There's also Paranoidandroid which will allow you to switch between Tablet UI and Phone UI, it's very interesting.

This rom is discontinued, the latest version is 2.6,(minor changes from 2.5).

hold on, i think i used the wrong wording here. it's not really discontinued, it's just temporarily closed due to GPL licensing issues. the thread is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=944972

once MDJ solve this issue, it will be open and get updates. I HOPE!

BTW, i am still rocking the 2.4 version of it. didn't bother updating since not much major changes..

There are plenty of roms on this site. Take your time and learn what you're doing. If that rom is working fine for now, there's no hurry... there will always be roms for you here. Just spend the next couple weeks reading and learning about your phone hear and how to use it. All the info you need is here.

hey guyz finally managed to custom update my nexus with Markdenver's Nexus One Stock 2.3.4 i was now just wondering can you install the htc sense add on separately or do i have to install a ROM with the sense. also if this is possible can you point me in the right direction thanks

well, mark denver has released a tweaked 2.3.4 and its currently posted on this forom in development section, and i was asking if a external htc sense ui launcher could be installed to a rooted device, because i like the rom but want sense also, thats why i asked if a add on like app existed... ?

No, you have to flash the whole sense rom.

On the epic 4g touch forums, I got a new phone not long ago. I've been doing a little development on there, haven't posted anything yet (been developing for myself for now, to practice.) Maybe I will stop through here n try my hand at rom building, I have a rom I want to try to make. I haven't been using my tab as much since I got this phone (its got a 4.5 in. screen!!!) And since I broke the glass on my Iconia. Still works fine, but lately I've just been using my Iconia for Netflix while I use my phone. I want to do something a little extreme, namely get touchwiz running on the Iconia (not a port of the whole rom, just tw)

Not at all, its purely cosmetic. The LCD is untouched and the touchscreen works fine. Its been broken since about august, and still works perfectly, just looks ugly

I currently am running Thors rom v. 14.2, and it comes with his kernel. Do you know if that kernel will work with his? There are some apps for the Acer that wont work with his rom because it is recognized as an asus

yes I am. Sorry if it's a noob question, but I am a noob to flashing roms. I like the looks of your rom and really want to get back to an acer based system so I don't have to guess what works with my tablet and what doesn't.

Not a n00b question, but it has already been answered in the OP in bright red letters.
"If you want to flash another kernel with this ROM, you do so at your own risk. I have no idea who's kernel will work with this ROM."
If you flash this ROM according to the directions in the OP, you'll be fine though

There's no "insert sim card" nag on this ROM, unless you've installed it on an A501, or didn't follow the explicit install instructions in the OP.

srry but im dont have 10 post yet, but I'm having trouble,
im using for long time cyanoge 7, after 9 and now the version 10.
But when im install version CM10-20120819-NIGHTLY-milestone2.zip, the phone works perfectly, cam, apps, switching screens is smooth, and it is pretty fast.
But if I install any other version that has left with improvements, the phone gets very, very, very slow, can not even write a message, anyone know what this might be, is it nescessário perform the downgrade to version CM10-20120830-NIGHTLY-milestone2.zip for example?

I guess reading the OP from this thread and the changelog was a bit hard ?
It's simple, that version is the last one with Froyo kernel support, all the subsequent ones don't.
It's why it's stated IN THE FIRST POST that IF you come from Froyo kernel (which is forced if you were on the CM7 from this forum basically), you HAVE to update to either the Chinese GB kernel (linked in the first post by Tezet) OR make an sbf update of your phone with the latest GB European kernel before flashing the new CM10.

There is a whole discussion thread about CM10 explaining how to work with it, the steps to install it in the op of the CM10 thread (or the CM9 ones, or the one in MS2 General forum explaining how to install CM9 on LatAm phones and other EU phones, and so on, on top of it being explaining like 10 times in Questions and Troubleshooting or the actual CM10 thread...).
As a registered user you accepted the rules of XDA, using the search function and searching before a question is one MANDATORY rule.
Being a lazzy ass not even wanting to go read the TITLES of the first page of the forums and/or the last 2 pages of the troubleshooting thread or the first 2 pages of the discussion and dev topics of a ROM is kind of painful......

Please read the very first post by Tezet. Tezet didn't provide Froyo support in his latest rom. So please follow his instructions to fix it.
If this cannot help you, I will suggest you to do full wipe and flash the newest rom again. It's amazing. I love it.
Your problems here could have been avoided by taking the five minutes necessary to read the first post of Tezet's thread completely mate.
As such, this thread is unnecessary, and I'm going to close it.
Please everyone, before you go flashing ANYTHING to your precious devices, make sure you read the fine print first!!!!

Have you heard that MIUI isn't gonna support the Find 5? I asked a developer why, and he said that it has something to do with a resource verifier Oppo has built in and developing on that was pretty hard or something. It's really a big shame, i would love MIUI on the find 5! Without the bugs of course. Are you able to port the newest versions of MIUI to the Find 5 or is that really difficult or impossible?
( I have no experience whatsoever with porting ROMs)
If you can port MIUI's newest versions to the Find 5 you're my hero. And the hero of a lot of other people too.

a new miui has been realised recently, it has already some bugs in camera and wifi. It is better than first rom. Isn't there someone who can fix this issues? thanks
