Hello, I hope someone can shed some light on my problem.
I've used 3 different WP7 ROMs on my HD2 and they all have clipping sounds. (Crackling when playing any sound). I've tried messing with the settings in advanced config but I still get crackling.
The ROMs I've used were pdaimatejam's 7.9 Mango, v8 Tango and ansar's v3 Tango ROM.
It seems a few people are having this problem but not all and everything is fine in Android or WM6.5.
Is there a fix I've missed?
What Mango or Tango ROM can I use that doesn't have this problem that I can dual boot with Android?
Thanks.
I've now used HD2Owner's ROM and I have no sound problem.
The Xbox Live icon is no longer green though, it's the theme colour and I've found when I set a custom colour, Amazing Weather's icons show up grey instead of the selected colour.

I recently upgraded the rom on my XDA IIi. Now there is no sound. The icon indicates sound is on and when I move the slider on the icon to increase sound level that works fine, however the sound is still not working and when I check the icon again the slider has reset to zero. I tried reinstalling the rom upgrade but the problem still exists.
Anyone got any ideas?
anyone got any solutions ? i oso face this kind of problems after upograding some latest ROM...........
i have miri 6.5 v37 and the functions above do not work even though they are checked in phone settings. also my g sensor work ok.

it seems that miri uses a hd2 rom base.

EDIT: I found that any other android platforms also having this issue after updating to Froyo Rom. So any suggestions or resolutions?
I use the new radio rom 2.15, android rom froyo v3.1 by darkstone
the call and signal is quite bad if I boot as Android.
The signal sometimes go empty at the same place.
When I make a call or receive one, the audio quality is quite bad, the sound is distorted and cut. (not all the time but during one call it happens often)
So I tried windows mobile and called, Crystal clear.
Can anyone help me out to make the quality of phone function same to the android one?
Hi,
I have a HTC touch GSM phone. I am currently facing very wierd problem with it. The sound control of the phone (softkey panel) start jumping/flashing and making loud noise all of a sudden. There is no way to stop it and the only option is to remove battery. However this does not necessarily clear the problem as sometimes even after rebooting the phone this problem starts again.
Has anyone ever come across this problem? Does anyone know the solution if it is available at all?
I have recently flashed my Rom with Onyx 6 release 14. However the problem existed before that as well.
Thanks alot for help.

Good morning,
This is my first post. I have recently downloaded and flashed Yukis (7392) ROM updated on 5/16 and for some reason when someone calls in, and I have the earphones in, the person calling gets a fast busy signal. The Caller ID will splash on the screen and instantly go away as if slide screen was activated and the ignore button was pressed. I want to say this is a ROM issue for the last ROM I used (HD20) would attenuate the sound and the call would come thru. I havent tried any other 7392 ROMS to be sure, Just wanted to know if anyone else had this issue with Yukis ROM. And, if we do find it to be a ROM issue can someone inform yuki as I can not because my post count is too low.
Thanks,
Dirty
UPDATE:
Looks to be a Update issue. I just tried it with HD20 rom with the same results. Am I the only user seeing this? I searched the FAQ and I did not see anything stating that this is a Bug. ???
Resolution
So i played around with this for a While and it seems that if you turn off both options in the "Ease of Access' menu then you will be able to receive calls with the headphones plugged in. This also works with mic'd headphones as well.
Thanks,
Dirty
I hadn't even thought of this! I usually turn those options off & hadn't when I switched roms. I'm going to try this when I get home and let you know if it worked for me as well.
