Apps2sd for stock rooted Dinc?

so, i've been searching here and androidforums.com to see how to install apps2sd on my inc. I want to install to the stock rom because until CM6 has all the bugs worked out of it, i need a stable phone for work.. so far everything I've found says i need to flash a rom with it already included.. so... for those that are smarter than I in regards to all things android, can i put apps2sd on my phone with the mostly stock, rooted sense rom?

Patience. I'm sure as soon as its available xda will be one of the first to post the method.

i realise the internal phone storage available is 746MB, i dont think there is a need for app2sd?

If I recall correctly the phone has 512 RAM and 512 Rom. Plus the 8gb internal storage. Apps running from SD frees up more of the RAM for better performance.
Anyways this thread should probably be removed since there are tons of others on this subject

if that's the case, then something is up with my phone.. I was trying to install the NFS rip from the droid x and it says i dont have ennough space on my phone and i know damn well i'm not using even close to the 746mb available.

Yep I have the same question, I tried it and it said the same thing?

[Q] APP to SD On ICS !!

I was using Draktremor a2sd on GB without any problem, when i switched to ICS rom Draktremor a2sd not working, if any one use ICS please type what are you using for App2SD ?
note : i use EXT4

I don't like Link2sd coz its not saves big space in internal memory like Darktremor script

If used properly, link2sd can be of great help to free up useful memory. This is a screenshot of Link2SD memory report under ICS CM9 Tinylight...

thtas because we need to make ext4 again even if its already done,if you are already using and just upgrade rom it work,but if its a new install after instal app all you have to do is go to recovery and choose ext3 to ext4(amonra as this option) after that it will work with no problem.
yesterday i made a clean install of tinylighty and s2e it wasnt work ,after the step above it works without fail...
space is more than enought again and dont loose widgets like in link2sd...

im using DavisNT move to sd-ext on cm9 and aokp.
both ext2 and ext4 worked flawlessly...

I'm sorry I cannot post any screenshot form my beloved P500 anymore, it was stolen on saturday morning I bought another (2nd hand) smartphone today, not a P500 coz I have not found one right away... see you and stay happy with the fantastic P500 and its fantastic community! Tested on SD Card Class 4 and working good,,

All mmc has a different class,, you can see at the mmc got write a small number 4 or 6 or 10 (as i know)..
im using Class 10 now just recheck your mmc again for sure :highfive:

Need and init.d script to be executable on every boot or with symlinks(like amarullz) or with ZipAligns(like CronMod)

Root again after unrooting

Had my gs4 sold so unrooted and returned to stock. Deal fell through so I'd like to root it again. Just want to make sure I would use the same procedure??? Thanks all!!!

CF-Autoroot will do it.

after root do i have to do SD card partition? i rooted my phone and tried to do back up but didnt go thru

Um no you don't have to repartition unless your external SD card is not formated.
And if you are making a backup, like in TWRP, change the backup directory to the external SD card

What's going here?? I have friends with a stock firmware and 4.77gb of apps. I barely have 1.7gigs of apps and I'm getting Insufficient Storage Available.
Plenty of storage space, Ram is not full..

Have you used lucky patcher? If yes, then find the odex file of the corresponding apk and delete it. If u havent used lucky patcher, IDK other methods except to wipe data.
