Seen a number of posts in the forum about youtube force closing, but haven't found a working solution yet. The current youtube version is 3.5.5. I have cleared the cache and data in settings/application/youtube. But inspite of that the app still force close. Anyone having a fix for this particular glib?

I seem to be having alot of force close's, is anyone else getting them?
I was getting it on the messaging app last night, still today, so I got handcent. It worked a good part of the day but now it isnt, force close's.
Also, every time I installed juice defender and tried to open it, force closes. I also couldn't see it in the market, though I tried to get it other places, all force closed.

Hey all!! Anyone notice that using youtube with Wifi the app doesnt open it. If I use you tube with data 3g , it opened but close with a error
Anyone had same issue or found any fix for youtube with both wifi and data?
HTC EVO 3.26.651.6
(Not Rooted)
I don't have the issue, but have you tried force stopping the app? Also, try clearing all data, it might be some corrupted data causing it. You can access it by going to settings>applications>manage applications>all applications>youtube.
not seeing the issue here. How are you accessing the youtube links?

By the youtube app, because it's factory i cant unistall to reintall
I fix the issue with the wifi but with data still frequent message "Sorry, this Video cannot be play. There was a problem while playing."
I think the problem is when the 3g data is slow and force the you tube run in same place and force close by itself.
I went to application -manage aplliaction and i did a youtube clear default, clear data , clear cache then force close and begin run well but then same error issue
I dont like using the youtube app ..way to slow. Try out the mobile website...alot faster alot better
Tried to go to the gallery and it keeps force closing.... In all different launcherso it continues to close . What could be the problem
anyone have any suggestions?
Funny, I was just now reading Verizon's list of "known issues" with the Fascinate, and this one sounds similar:
Force Close:
In some rare occasions opening pictures causes the device to force close the application.
Short term work around: There is no short term work around for this issue.
Planned Resolution: A fix for this issue is under review for inclusion in a future MR.

anyone else know how to fix this. it was orginally working fine and now it just keeps for closing. Even witha 3rd party apk like 3d gallery it continues to force close.
Every time I load the Market application, it works perfectly. However, when I navigate to the Downloads section, or select an application from that page - it crashes the market after a few seconds and returns me to the Downloads page.
It doesn't require force closing, it will just turn the screen white and take me to Downloads for no apparent reason.
I've tried clearing the market cache, wiping everything from my phone and reflashing my ROM (VillainROM 12) - still it keeps doing it.
Anybody else having this problem? Or does anybody know of a fix?
Bump
Sent from my HTC Hero using XDA App
although not the same issue, I had problems downloading apps from the market over the weekend, would start downloading and do nothing, either over wifi or HSDPA, seems to be ok now though...
settings>manage applications>market>clear cache>clear data
rreboot then voila
I keep getting "Unfortunately, com.samsung.faceservice has stopped". Anyone else see this yet? It seems to pop up after closing the gallery apk, but I can't pinpoint it.
I have the same thing happen on my Verizon S7. Tried wiping cache and doing a soft reset - but same issue. Sometimes it happens after opening the gallery and sometimes its just random.
Yea, cleared caches on mine as well.
Seems like it happens after attaching a pic to an email, from either internal and external storage.
Download the app "package disabler pro" and disable com.samsung.faceservice. it worked for my Galaxy S7 verizon
Do you know what faceservice is? I've searched but didn't find an answer.
