Another thread posted in wrong section

I think the title of the post says enough but I shall discribe what happend.
I have updated my x10 to android 2.3.3 a couple days ago but when I installed dungeon defenders on my phone and after that when I wanted to play the game it craches.
- sometimes when it is loading the game.( this is when you see the purple circle)
- sometimes randomly in the game(there are moments when i can play the game 2 seconds and sometimes 10 minutes)
I was wondering if one of you has the same issue with the game?

Our phone can run that game? Arent our specs a lil too low?

While most games work I have a few that don't.
Asphalt 5 or 6 don't work... most likely a build. prop issue.
Heavy Gunner has an xy axis issue that is reported to be an ICS issue.
GTA III does work.
Has anyone moved the build.prop to get more games to install?

Not sure about build prop but I can say that Nova2 HD doesn't work (Gameloft sucks), Shadowgun force closes sometimes. Dead Space, Temple Run, Angry Birds Space and N64 emulator all work well.

it works on mine...try to download the latest version, try the HD version, i'm using it.

GTAIII only barely works for me. It ends up freezing the controls, so if I was running, he just keeps running as I am still touching the controls. The controls also seem to lag greatly causing me to get my butt kicked when I am trying to mug people.

i'm considering buying this tab and games if definatly an interest. Was wondering has anyone tried a PSemulator on the tab? Wonder how that would play with something like say, FF7 also curious how Mini Motor Racing plays on the tab.

I removed it and re-installed it. Still doesn't work. It downloads the levels, goes to the PopCap screen then hangs forever, sometimes it makes it to the next screen (Loading...), then hangs.
I can't find a HD version, just the regular pay for version. It works just fine on my Atrix 2.

Real Racing 2 doesn't work. It installs but gets a server error 5002 when launched. I bought the Tab just for this awesome game!

I got a bunch of Gameloft games to work, by changing the build.prop to Galaxy Nexus. Same GPU as our tab, and high resolution, so the games should be optimized. Unzip this and overwrite the one inside /system/
Make a backup first, this might cause problems down the line.
EDIT: Yeah this kills sound. So, after you change your build.prop, download the games, install the data and restore your backed up build.prop. Sound will work again. The games will also still work.
There is an app on the market called "Device Spoofer" that makes this process easier.

Put sims free play on it for the wife to play. It runs really well considering its almost a gb of data downloaded.

Asphalt does work on my tablet(p3110) but Plants vs Zombies don't~~

Grand Theft Auto and Plants vs Zombies both work great for me on CM9.

I downloaded the plant vs zombiesHD version which was around 2 mb , later when I installed and launched the game it stopped working the message says "unfortunately plant vs zombies has stopped working" so any suggestions for this problem

That message you got is called a "force close" Some apps do this s8metimes especially if there are many apps fighting for Ram, thats when you need the multirasking butt8n, which looks like 2 frames with an overlap, selecting "Remove all" will clear up Ram.

PvZ works great for me, I am using version 1.3.16 with included data files to sd card.
however, it is always asking for network, just for starting the app.

GTA 3 work fine for me CM 10/1 and aopk oc kernel :good:

do you guys experience any lag in games on custom or official firmware and which firmware is best for gaming? I will get gtab 2 7.0 in few days so I thought it would be good to ask.

Nop, i can run Modern combat 4, GTA, dead trigger, spider man etc perfectly without any lag, using cm10.1 but with a official Rom it should the same.

[Q]Help me fix my Nexus

Hello guys.I have a strange problem.While im playing games ,after 10-15min my tablet gets stuck and my screen gets white with black lines ,something like piano.I tried tp install a custom ROM or change kernel ,but my problem still appears.How to get rid of that ?
Im using my tablet for game station and this is a big problwm for me.

can you provide more info .. Like what rom your using what games.. are you unlocked rooted over clocked. Are you playing games wile plugged in and charging and so on..
That looks to me like a heat issue. But without more details it could be anything...

Thank you for answering.Im currently with smooth rom ,rooted with unlocked bootloader.I tried with different kernels franco,trinity and etc. This problem first came after like a week after buying my nexus ,while I was with stock. I have a strange feeling that the lower my battery is the faster the problem comes,but im not 100% sure. This problem appeared even when I was playing Beach Buggy while charging my tablet.
This problem appears while I play Beach Buggy,Temple run,Running fred,Shadowsgun.
While I play PSX games with FPSe,the new NFS or shadowgun deadzone this problem doesnt appear
Edit:The problem just appeared and I felt that my tablet is kinda hot above the speakers.Can this be overheating problem and is there a way to fix it?

[Q] please help with N64 emu

please help im trying to run zelda on my rooted CFW gt-s5360 im using megaN64 emulator and i have also tried Mupen64 plus AE. i have also tried a new download of the roms and also most of the common results generated by google. the problem im having is that it keeps lagging to the point where it is unplayable. ill be really gutted if i cant get this going as the 1 and only emu on the ipad has really doggy controls that wont work with zelda and waiting ZODTTD to update is like waiting for the rapture to come. any help would be much appreciated as im dying to relive those good old days.

Galaxy y is not a phone that can handle games even emulated games that has hd graphics. GY isn't fitted for gaming..

[Q] Games like Temple Run,Temple Run 2,GTA Vice City Lags [Minor Lags[

Hello Everybody,
Well,I guess its over a month since I've bought my smartphone [Grand 2] but I am noticing very minor lags on even low end games.
Well,Grand 2 is well equipped with quite good specifications but Still games like Temple run,Temple run 2,GTA Vice City is lagging.Though,The lags are very minor.Touch is responsive but there's a lil lag in Graphics rendering.
I don't why its happening so,
I tried almost each and everything- Disabled Bloatwares [NO ROOT],Disable S Voice,No widgets at Home Screen,Tried clearing RAM before each gameplay,Changed Windows and Animation scales to "OFF" in Developers Settings but still there no such effect.
I also own a Nexus 7 but I am able to play each and every game without any lag even GTA SAN and GTA VC.
I don't know what's the issue with this Samsung Galaxy Grand 2.
Can anyone please help me out of this trouble?
I am really regretting right now that Why I am bought this smartphone.

Thats weird. I've been playing a lot of Low-end as well as High-end games on Grand 2 and Rarely experience any lags.
I'm not really sure if this works :fingers-crossed: but you can try downloading Clean Master from the play store. It provides a Game booster feature which says that it'll speed up your games by up to 25%. You can add a game booster shortcut folder on your homescreen and whenever you start games from this folder, it'll speed em up.

I am sure you would have checked it but still, did you bychance have the power saving mode on?

update to the latest version this lag had been fixed. and while playing game disabled power saving mode ,close all the running apps and do force stop and clear ram and sometimes phone memory get fulled also caused phone slow so see ur internal memory as well.

Do you mean, HD games want to play well & smooth on midrange smartphone?
Just try to disable unwanted apps like samsung apps etc...
In my experience, maintain ram free above 500mb. Now i can able to play games smooth & without more lag.

the thing is...after the Kitkat update that is the 4.4,2 every basic game has some minor or considerable lag. Its not the device that has the problem ,its the update that has the bugs. Jellybean never had any such lag in any basic game.

samsung galaxy grand 2 gaming lag. ..
Please help .....I've recently bought a Samsung galaxy grand 2 and installed android 4.4.2 on it as it was requested by samsung.... i decided to try games like asphalt and dead trigger and the problem is that both games stutter for some seconds approx. 5 seconds and then goes smooth again.....it's applicable for all games that I've tried......please help. ...the lag also occurs when we don't have any bulky effects. .......stutters for a few seconds and smooth and goes on like this...... note power saving is disabled. Please help....... :crying:
