Hello everybody.
This guide is meant to be an "All in one" guide for the Zte Blade(Sold under the names Orange San Fransisco,Dell XCD35,etc..) and I'll try my best to keep it that way.
I've used the guides and threads and also posts of various users from XDA including wbaw,Saaransh9,karthiknr,Kannibalism and various others from MoDaCo like hedgepigdaniel and kozmic to make this and so I'm giving total credit to them as well.
What is the ZTE Blade?
The ZTE Blade (aka Venus or Orange San Francisco) is a touchscreen Android smartphone manufactured by ZTE for the European market. The device has various versions, differing in aspects such as screen type (AMOLED/TFT), camera (3.2MP or 5.0MP), and RAM (256MB or 512MB), although it is now clear that all European models have 512MB, but the Greek and older Hungarian versions of the phone have been limited to 256MB by software. A custom update is available on the internet to resize the partitions in order to get back the 256MB that’s originally taken up by software.Official CyanogenMod support was added in CyanogenMod 7.
Firstly lets discuss about some terms I'm going to use and their meanings.
1.ROM.
Basically is an Android OS for your phone. Various ROMs exist out there based on Froyo,Gingerbread and Ice Cream Sandwich. Different versions of the ROMs can exist as well. ROMs in the form of a .zip file can be flashed(See below) via a recovery(See below).
2.Flash/Flashing.
Flashing is the procedure of installing a ROM via recovery or an app such as ROM Manager. Its the equivalent to installing an OS on a PC. Here,it refers specifically to Android ROMs.
3.Root.
Root is the ability to give Read/Write access and access to folders which are Read only. With root, you can browse system files and folders. It also allows you to flash custom ROMs and Recoveries. Root also gives you Superuser,an app that lets you handle root requests made by other applications.
4.Recovery.
It is to be used only in extreme circumstances if you're a newbie. Recovery is just like a Windows/Linux recovery and can be used to do a factory reset and format different partitions. Also, its used for various functions including Flashing a ROM,Backing-Up and Restoring of a ROM,etc. The most commonly used recovery is Clock Work Mod or CWM. Various stock recoveries exist but not as common as CWM. Further,a recovery has its own partition,so even if you screw up your ROM,you can always go back into the recovery(Explained in detail under Flashing a ROM).
5.ClockWorkMod or CWM Recovery.
I'm talking about CWM here in specific because its the most widely used recovery out there and doesn't have any major issues. It can be flashed onto your recovery partition after you've acquired root(Explained below under Rooting) through the app ROM Manager.
6.GEN1/GEN2.
Stands for Generation. You can find out the Generation of your phone using the Ask Mr. Pigfish app here. GEN1 ROMs cannot be installed on GEN2 and vice versa. The difference is something in the memory layout and the radio images that most people don't need to understand.
7.TPT.
Total Phone Transfer is a method that changes the phone image layout. It can be used to convert your phone's GEN to enable flashing of GEN1 ROMs on a GEN2 device and vice versa. Some TPTs contain only Recovery, whilst others are full systems. If you flash a TPT which contains only a recovery you should have a Rom ready to flash, which is for the correct gen of your phone.
A TPT image differs for Gen1 and 2. The layout/structure and the format of TPTs differs between Gen1 and Gen2.
8.Partition/Partitioning.
The Blade has a partition based. internal memory unit which is divided into System,Cache and Data.
System partition is where the ROM files go. Data is where the application data gets stored and Cache is for temporary storage of apps like the Market/Play store,etc.. The phone's partitioning differs from GEN1 to GEN2 as told above.
9.Gapps/Google Apps.
Its a package that contains Google's main applications and files that are user friendly like Gmail,Talk,Market/Play Store, etc. They're different for different Android versions such as Gingerbread and Ice Cream Sandwich.
All the Gapps files can be found here.
From now on,we'll be dealing with various topics one by one.
1.Rooting your Blade.
Root can be achieved through various forms and the most common way is to get it by the Z4Root application. Temporary root access gives you root ability only till you switch the phone off. Permanent root access roots your phone permanently even if you reboot your device.
To root,
1.Download the Z4root app here and install it.
2.Enable USB Debugging or Android Debugging under Settings>Applications>Development.
3.Start the app and give permanent root(Recommended).
4.Wait for it to reboot.
5.You're rooted.
2.Flashing a Recovery.
Like i already said above,Clock Work Mod seems to be the most widely used recovery and it can be flashed using the ROM Manager application. For GEN1 phones, its advised to flash the CWM version 3.0.1.4 and for GEN2 phones, the latest version would do.
To flash CWM through ROM Manager,
1.Download ROM Manager here and install it.
2.
1.*.For GEN1 phones, scroll to the bottom and go to All Recoveries and choose
CWM 3.0.1.4
*.For GEN2 phones, flash recovery by clicking the first option.
3.Wait for it. It will first download the recovery and then flash it.
4.After recovery has been flashed, there are 2 common ways of booting into it.
*.Booting into recovery through the ROM Manager application.
*.When the phone is switched off, boot into recovery by pressing Power and
Volume- keys simultaneously for about 5 seconds.
To flash CWM through ADB
Follow this guide here written by Matt4321.
To flash CWM recovery using a TPT,
There exist two TPT image files,GEN1 to GEN2 and GEN2 to GEN1.
Suppose you have a GEN1 device and want to flash GEN2 ROMs on it such as CyanogenMod ROM,then you will have to flash the GEN1 to GEN2 TPT. If you are GEN2 and want to flash GEN1 ROMs,then you will have to flash the GEN2 to GEN1 TPT. Keep in mind that when you flash either of the above TPTs,CWM shows up and you need to have a .zip ROM file(GEN1 or GEN2 according to what TPT you have flashed) on your SD Card to flash readily. Once done you can boot into both the ROM and CWM.
To flash a TPT image file,
1.Download the TPT of your choice from here.
GEN1toGEN2 and GEN2toGEN1
2.Extract the "image" folder to the root of your SD Card.
3.Flash TPT when phone is switched off by pressing Power,Menu and Volume+ keys simultaneously.
4.Some green text should appear and CWM should show up after a green Android logo.
5.Flash your ROM file using CWM(Explained below).
6.Be extremely careful here. If you have flashed a GEN1 to GEN2 TPT,choose a GEN2 ROM. If you have flashed a GEN2 to GEN1 TPT,choose a GEN1 ROM.
3.Flashing a ROM.
Various ROMs exist out there for you to try and experiment with. The most commonly used ROM is the CyanogenMod ROM made by the same community that consists of various developers.
To flash a ROM using CWM,
1.Boot into CWM.
Use volume keys for scrolling up/down. Home key to initiate action and Back key to go to previous menu.
2.Wipe data/factory reset.
3.Wipe cache partition.
4.Choose Install Zip from SD Card.
5.Choose the zip and flash.
6.Reboot once flashed.
There exist TPT images that already have a ROM inbuilt into them.
If you're GEN1 and want to flash a selected GEN2 ROM that exists in a complete TPT image, you can directly flash it without having to flash the ROM again through CWM.
If you're GEN2 and want to flash a selected GEN1 ROM that exists in a complete TPT image, you cab directly flash it without having to flash the ROM again through CWM.
To flash a Custom ROM+TPT image,
1.Download the ROM+TPT image zip file(Few of them are given below).
2.Extract the "image" folder to your SD Card root.
3.Flash the TPT by pressing Power,Menu and Volume+ keys simultaneously.
4.You should boot into the ROM if it was successful.
A few ROM+TPT images.

From now on,the guide is for advanced users who have certain knowledge about rooting and flashing various ROMs and mod's.
1.Various Custom ROMs.
There exist many developers who work hard to help the community in making ROMs. Such ROMs can be flashed using CWM. I've given links to threads of some of the ROMs below just in case a developer wouldn't appreciate providing just links to his/her ROMs.
ColdFusionX [ICS Based] by Tilal6991 Gen2 only.
SwedishSnow [GB Based] by Konstat Gen2 only.
CyanogenMod7 [GB Based] by CyanogenMod Gen2 only.
GingerStirFry [GB Based] by Wbaw
EliteBladeRom [GB Based] by Elitemovil
DianXin ROM [GB Based] Gen2 only.
CyanMobile ROM [CM7 Based] by squadzone Gen2 only.
Lewa OS ROM [CM7 Based] by Lewa edited by justme1998 Gen2 only.
Samsung TouchWiz port [CM7 Based] by weeo and jj_95nano Gen2 only.
LG Prada port [CM7 Based] by weeo and Spacecaker Gen2 only.
Joyos ROM [GB Based] Gen2 only.
TommieB's AOSP ROM [GB Based] Gen2 only.
2.Various Mods for Blade.
The Blade is a great device and is almost 99.99% unbrickable. Because of this various mods can be installed without ruining your device. I've provided various links to threads and downloads below.
Beats Audio
Bravia Engine
Adreno Lib's
Beats Audio & Sony Xloud
Mega Bass Beats
SRS Dolby Sound
I will keep updating the list of mod's. Do let me know about any new ones.

8.Recovering your Blade.
[Thanks to HedgePigDaniel from Modaco for this]
1.Fastboot.
Fastboot is a method of flashing a recovery image to your phone from a computer (which can be running Windows, Linux, or OSX). It does not work with Blades that are running stock Gen2 firmware (i.e. upgraded to stock Gen2 via windows or upgraded to android 2.2 by an official update) unless both the recovery and boot partitions are completely unbootable.
For all platforms
1.Download and extract this file, which contains both fastboot and clockworkmod for Gen1 and Gen2.
2.Turn on your phone with volume up held and connect it to your computer. It should not progress beyond the green android. Sometimes you have to wait a few minutes for the computer to recognise it.
For Windows
1.Download and install the ZTE Handset drivers. Your phone should be listed as "Fastboot Interface" under "ADB Interfaces".
2.Run windows-flash-gen1-recovery.bat to flash Gen1 clockworkmod, or windows-flash-gen2-recovery.bat to flash gen2 clockworkmod.
3.After rebooting with volume down held, you should be able to flash a ROM in clockworkmod.
For Linux
1.Navigate to the extracted folder and run one of the following commands. To flash Gen1 clockworkmod:
Code:
sudo ./fastboot-linux flash recovery recovery-clockwork-4.0.0.8-blade-gen1.img
To flash Gen2 clockworkmod:
Code:
sudo ./fastboot-linux flash recovery recovery-clockwork-4.0.0.8-blade-gen2.img
2.After rebooting with volume down held, you should be able to flash a ROM in clockworkmod.
2.TPT.
TPT is a way of flashing part of the low-level firmware on your phone. After successfully flashing the files below you will regain access to clockworkmod. You need a different type of TPT depending on what variant of the Blade you have. If you have a China Unicom v880 or any other Chinese variant then you must not flash a TPT designed for European Blades, and vice versa. Be aware that flashing a modified or corrupt TPT can permanently brick your phone. Choose the appropriate file below.
European Gen1 TPT
Use this if your phone is a European GSM variant and if it is Gen1 or has been upgraded to Gen2 via TPT. This will flash stock Gen1 firmware.
European Gen2 TPT
Use this if your phone is a European GSM variant and if it was sold as Gen2 or upgraded to stock Gen2 via windows. This will flash stock Gen2 firmware.
China Unicom v880 Gen2 TPT
Use this if your phone is a China Unicom v880 (unsure, but may work on Chinese u880/x880). This will flash the stock Gen2 firmware taken from the B15 android 2.2.2 update.
Flashing a TPT
1.Download the applicable TPT file from above.
2.Unzip and put the “image” folder onto the root directory of your SD card.
3.Disconnect and reconnect your SD card and check the integrity of the TPT files. There is a file called "image.hash" in the image folder which contains all the files' md5 hashes in plain text. Make sure that the md5 of all the files match, or you may brick your phone.
4.Turn on your phone with the SD card inserted and with menu and volume up held.
5.The screen will either stay black or show green text (if you see the green android immediately then it didn't work), and will restart into clockworkmod when done. Wait at least 5 minutes for it to restart if you don’t see anything.
6.When it is finished (even if it didn't work), then remove the image directory from the SD card to prevent accidental flashing later on.
7.You can now flash a ROM using clockworkmod. If it doesn't work, then using a different SD card may help.
If you have a European variant then it is safe to try both Gen1 and Gen2 TPTs separately in case you have made a mistake.
I would anyday recommend flashing a TPT to recover it than the windows method given below. But in case you don't recover your blade using the TPT method, use the method below.
3.Windows upgrader.
This method flashes the entire low-level firmware and maintains the correct IMEI automatically. To use this method you need to be able to boot into stock recovery. This means that when you turn your phone on with volume down held, the words “FTM” must appear on the screen. If you can access clockworkmod then you don't need to use this method - see above. This method requires windows.
For European Blades, follow this guide and flash any firmware package linked in the guide.
For Chinese Blades, you must follow the same guide but flash this firmware package instead.
Hopefully this helps all of you guys. I must've made mistakes. If you guys find any,let me know. Ill rectify them ASAP. If anyone thinks anything should be added to this, give me the source of the information to be added and ill add it.
Cheers to the XDA Community.

This isn't exactly a solution, but one thing I can say for sure. The Dell XCD35 is a European Blade. Ask you're friend what Android version the phone came with
2.1 : Gen 1
2.2 : Gen 2
Hey Karthik thanks for a wonderful guide and step by step procedure..I have installed latest CM 7.2 Rc3 and wanted to know whether http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1602753&page=13 it will work on our device as You have provided the link in OP also in the given thread there are 2 files one for Galaxy3 and other for X8. Try the Galaxy3's file first. Look for audio improvement when your earphones are connected. If the result is a bootloop, flash the x8 file. I suggest you make a cwm backup anyway.

I have updated my frnd's spica from 1.6 to 2.1 a long time ago and i'm thinking of upgrading the android version.Which do you suggest, the
[Rom] [Spica] OMG v1.22.12.10 [Android 2.1] [Stable] [Customization Updated/Adding]
what is the diff betwen this one and one of the official early released eclairs ?
or
FROYO for SPICA (CyanogenMod-6.1.1-Spica-alpha8.3)
Is this Foryo stable and usable ? (my frnd does not know anything about these things)
Better install SpicagenMod- also Froyo, it's still not a final release but it's beeing worked on all the time
I suggest SGM-froyo-BETA1-NextGeneration. It's stable, nice and Silky Smooth

Hi
at the moment I'm running froyo 2.2 rom on my spica and to be honest I am not that impressed. its the samdroid mod, this 1 I think (not sure a guy rooted, etc for me)
SamdroidMod 2.0.1.alpha.8.3 - Froyo [AOSP] for i5700
so my Q is this, can I just put the rom you have supplied on my sd card then boot into recovery apply then hit home when prompted?, Do I have to hit "Wipe cache etc"? as this will be my first time applying a rom myself. Will I lose all my settings & apps etc?
does everything work l;like sound, bluetooth etc, all the important things I mean.
any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated

well,i installed the custom eclair long back on the spica upgrading it from 1.6 using ODIN softwere flasher. I guess if your phone is rooted,i guess you can just put it on ur SD and you have to erase cache and data as these are not upgrades to your version , but completely different versions.
Here is a new one from samdroid as well - http://forum.samdroid.net/f53/cyanogenmod-6-1-1-spica-alpha8-4-a-4716/

What was your original SBF? Do you remember atleast the area(locale) and carrier? If yes than you can search for your SBF from the link in the prev post and do a RSD Lite flash. Also do a data wipe from stock after or before doing a SBF flash.
And Chinese SBFs can be pretty dangerous as they are known to burn up the LED!!!
device was brought from Romania with no network branding or any other thing. other then this I have no other info...
Could you please suggest a rom for me to flash as I kinda became sick of trying.
I give you 3 variants!

Thank you..I flashed that and it seems it worked. New firmware is now running...Chinese junk is out. My questions for you will be:
My intention is to install a custom ROM (cyanogen or perhapsMoKee_OS as I see you use that) so, other then to root the device there is anything that I have to do?!
At one point I owned a WinMob device and for those I had to flash sections of code for the GSM handeling. Is the case for this here now...or I just root and install new ROM

Also noticed that on this ROM camera is not working!...is this normal?!
first of all!
make a "wipe data/factory reset" from recovery
reflash sbf and check your working camera!
dont understand whay it not work
anyway to instal a custom rom you need to root the phone and instal Sndinit_142 or 2.00 version!
try first to solve the problem with camera
hope is not broken by chineze rom(usual it burn only the flash led)
if you cant fix the camera must put on the phone an oficial rom and go to waranty
(need to inform better about your oficial rom on romanian softpediaforum for defy+)

Is there a chance you may have green lens camera?? How to know? Well first thing how old is your defy? And did you use the camera with chinese ROM?
Best way to check:
When you open the camera app and camera initialise do you hear a very tiny sound? If yes its a red lens, the sound is of the lens focusing..
However first try what vaserbanix suggested..
Sndinit_142 and ClockworkMod Recovery serve the same purpose?!
I sow that on a cyanogen oficial tutorial they recomand using "the latest version of bootmenu (includes the latest version of the ClockworkMod Recovery):"

snd init is an app that installs CWM on your phone! First install snd init. When you open the app you will see two options: latest recovery and stable recovery. Use latest recovery(recommended). BTW what happenned to your camera>?
I have not used camera with chinese rom as in that rom it was not working also. Camera is a green unit. Phone has 1 year since it was bought
I know defy+ have not green lenses
(Perhaps I m wrong informed)
Is good to flash again last sbf!
Root it, instal Sndinit and in
GENERAL section can find a thread
named DEFY+ by niksy+, some custom rom for it.

Yes you are correct.. Defy+ has red lens! I am almost sure the issue of camera not working is due to presence of green lens in his Defy! I am not sure if all the Froyo SBFs has green lens support! So, you flash an SBF and try installing a CM with fix for green lens and check if camera works.
You may try one another thing before flashing though I am not sure it will work! Try installing Camera360 . In the app go to settings and check hardware support (or something similar ) mode. Sorry, I don't have my Defy right now so can't tell you the exact setting! See if it recognise your camera and if it works. You may also install elixir2. I think there is a camera check there!!

Sorry if I mixed you guys up...but I have Defy...not Defy+.
Perhaps this is why camera is not working, after I flashed the rom suggested I also sow that device is recognised as beeying MB526 but in fact I have MB525 Defy....
did you root it? and instal Sndinit?
Yep we got it that it is a Defy .. Do things one by one... Check your camera then root and install snd init and flash> instal camera mods. If your cam still don't work go claim warranty!
Phone state at this point:
Installed one of the ROM's suggested by you guys(first in the list of 3)!...Problem with this rom is that camera is not working, and second of all it drains the battery in only 1 day with limited activity on the device.
Device is recognised as MB526 but in fact on device itself is writen MB525.
Information about device:
System version: 45.0.1390.MB526.Retail.en.FR
Model number: MB526 -------------> is this normal?!
Baseband: EPU93_U_00.60.00 ----------> is this baseband ok?! for me it seems it drains batttery rather to quickly
Kernel: 2.6.32.9-gbdd614e [email protected]#1
Phone is rooted and 2init installed with version 0.61 used from the 2 of them. I have blue light on boot and I can enter menu.
When I boot "Android BootMenu" under Custom Recovery and try:
- wipe data/factory reset - it says:
"Wiping data...
Formating DATA....
Formating CACHE....
Formating SDEXT....
No app2sd partition found. Skipping format of /sd-ext.
Formating SDCARD:/.android_secure...
Data wipe complete.
E:Can't open /tmp/recovery.log"
----> when try to wipe cache:
----Wiping Cache....
Formatting CACHE:....
Cache wipe complete.
E:Can't open /tmp/recovery.log"
3. why trying to wipe Davik Cache:
E:can;t mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p2
(No such file or direcory)
Dalvik Cache wiped/
Now when try to apply new ROM from SDCARD:
---Installling :SDCARD:"ROM.zip"
Finding update package...
Opening update package....
Installing update...
E:Can't make /tmp/update-binary
Installation aborted.
I Have no ideea why it generates errors!

Android 4.4.4 on Acer A500 Working Partially
I was running ICS 4.03 and installed the 4.4.4 from this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2705989
Using Skrilax V9 bootloader and CWM 6.0.4.5.
Omnirom Kitkat loads up fine but cannot restore apps through Titanium Backup and as it reports no Root access.
Also Google Play cannot locate this device but I can log in and see my apps using the stock Browser that was installed.
Made several attempts with Google Android Manager to no avail.
I assume this custom ROM has root access correct? If true, don't understand why Titanium Backup is complaining.
Location is set for Wi-Fi and mobile network to determine location.
So for now cannot restore my apps locally via Titanium Backup until I get to the bottom of the issue.
Your guidance appreciated as well as the work to make this ROM available to such a broad audience.
DISREGARD, I am getting everything working in the light version.
Rom for Acer A500
Hello I am new to the forum and also the modding and not perlo language very well.
I tried to flash the recovery "update-recovery-thor2002ro-rev1.7.3" the "OmniROM-4.4.4-Tegraowners ROM v21" the work went well but sometimes I crash.
Can you tell me what is currently the OmniROM 4.4.4 better and more stable than those in the first page, and if I can flash with the current recovery, (update-recovery-thor2002ro-rev1.7.3), pointing to the steps to do because I lost in the discussion not knowing the language in fact I am using the translator.
thanks
Hello!

I used the instructions found at the beginning of the 4.4.4 Light version thread as the full version gave me issues. I didn't use the Thor recovery, Skrilax version 9 instead.

flickering screen with Facebook?????
I installed v6 of omni ROM on my Acer a500, and just updated to the newest version. Both ROMs are am some and smooth, but I have just one issue when I have Facebook open for a few minutes, I go to scroll down then the screen starts to flicker and I can't do anything. And to use it again I have to reboot otherwise I just get a black screen. It happens on both versions of the ROM, anyone else have this issue???. Thanks for any replies
Hello , I am trying to flash this rom on my Acer a500 and I get this error :
This package is for "picasso.a500" device this is a "ventana".
E:error

Could anyone help me with this issue?
Lockups
yeah i have been having a few issues along the same lines, i think its more to do with disk 'bandwidth' usage than the cpu. With low data throughput apps running it will run for days without issue, start downloading at 500kB/s (or sometimes as little as 370kB/s) and do some other disk intensive task and pop its gone! this could be biased a bit by my experience of it as i quite often use the A500 to dl things or load it up with stuff before a journey etc.. have also had it get stuck in deep sleep modes but think thats the disk issue as well...
Could it be overfilling it disk buffers or something? not much experience with android hardware but this tablets a bit old now and new roms may be expecting the inbuilt storage to be performing a little faster than the a500's can deal with
Also have tried all the available i/o schedulers and none seem to have and noticeable difference in time between hangs, although without bothering to setup proper test conditions i cant really say much really
oops was meant to be in reply to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60787006&postcount=293 meh....
LNX partition not loading?
Hello and sorry if it's an easy question but it's my first time trying to install roms. I've followed http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2705989 to install OmniRom 4.4.4 on my iconia A500. I installed Skrilax bootloader V9 and then CWM 6.0.4.5 on my device and up to now everything worked well. I then put OmniRom 4.4.4 build 8 and gapp pico on a micro sd card, wiped data using CWM then install the rom (from /storage/sdcard1) then installed the gapp (also from /storage/sdcard1), then wiped cache partition and rebooted. I've been stuck on the Skrylax "booting android image from LNX partition" for half an hour now... Where did I make a mistake?
Stuck on startup logo

The process seems very complicated, with each page leading to another and resulting in multiple downloads. could someone please give a step by step guide with all downloads listed in sequence. screenshots would be great help. thanks in advance.
Using TWRP-2.6.3.0 to install Omni 4.4.4
Hi all,
Just want to know if it does matter to use TWRP-2.6.3.0 (instead of 2.6.3.1) to install Omni 4.4.4...???
Anyway, the installation went through w/out any issue. I'm using my revived Acer-A500 (was bricked for almost 2 yrs).
W/out this XDA-Dev's great resource, I would not be able to revive my bricked Acer-A500 & running Omni 4.4.4 (CM-11) now.
Many thanks to everyone on the board, especially, Skrilax, blackthund3r, civato & all the great XDA-Dev team...!!!
Cheers,
JKS
Hello !
Here's a million bucks question, Can this ZTE Blade A452 be flashed with a custom ROM based on the Non European Version of this Phone (ZTE X3 or X6 is it?)?
I am willing to put this phone as guinea pig for this proyect .
What I want to do is turn this european phone into an american one. GSM ; 2G , 3G 4G LTE etc.
Anybody ?
also to join the request
Now, i ported successfully a CM12.1 ROM for Alcatel Pixi 4(6) 8050D... I have since today the ZTE BLADE A452.
I Join the request, Bootloader unlock i think is: Fastboot oem unlock code..Try imeadly and root Kingroot. i think this is by all china phones (ZTE,ALCATEL,....)
we muss have a recovery e.g. from Same Chipset to port and same CM rom.
all Files e.g. boot.img Recovery.img needed.
Edit: Its same Bootloader from Alcatel pixi.......so unlocking is easy
Are there ANY ROM's available for ZTE Blade A452?
Are there ANY ROM's available for ZTE Blade A452?
:crying:...because I would really need one, after messing up my factory rom with KingRoot (removed too many programs, Google Play etc. wont work). No, factory reset wont help, still in trouble.:crying:
Ofcourse I would like to have some latest version with atleast some Android vulnerabilities patched too.
ineed other room for jump the bypass of google
1. Download the latest firmware from oficial ZTE website
2.Backup all of your data by pressing the "backup" icon on the Zte screen
3.Copy update.zip into your SD card root directory.
4.Go to software update from settings menu and press update from Sd card.
5. Voila, after the update is completed, you can safely restore your settings and apps from the backup icon on zte screen.
Obs: Don't forget that you need at least 20% battery life just to be safe.

Is it possible to use Blade X3 ROMs on A452 ?
According to specs, devices are almost the same: http://www.devicespecifications.com/en/comparison/85e4576db
After seeing that your machine is suffering from not grasp the port, we have decided to make you a gift.
And so, we present you MIUI7, based on Android 5.1.1
To tell what Miui, probably does not make sense. All know very well that it is)
Miui extreme version, based on the Russification of our friends from Multirom.
Enough many bukf and start.
What we need to install the firmware.
1. It is necessary to make a patch for the normal memory map. (I did so, because the drain that was just adstoy) Link to the instructions.
2. Download the ported recovery ...
and install it.
3. Downloading firmware itself ...
4. After installation, be sure to do all wipes are! Well, rejoice firmware.
But it may not be doing so well. There are certainly bugs.
1. Does not work illumination ring, but I suggested that it can be run using Xposed
Also, the bottom buttons do not work off the vibration.
2. Failure to display the internal memory and the processor (I think in the future to fix that)
Team ...
Mod edit: Thread closed! DL links no longer working and removed.
does this work for blade s6 plus??
how about blade v6?
Hello!
Is point 1 really necessary - wasting some memory space would not be a real problem for me.
What do you mean with 'adstoy'?
Best regards.
