use the usb connection on your pc to charge. if it charges then you have a bad wall charger. also try hard reset or flash again.
as for reboot with low battery...i've never seen this happen on my rom...my phone just shuts down like it's supposed to with a low battery. the reboot could b caused by whichever rom you are using.

[SOLVED]HD charging problem

My 2 months old Touch HD doesn't charge the battery anymore.
If i plug the power cord, the notification led turns red for 5-7 sec., then it turns off, and the battery meter shows no charging.
I can sync it with PC but runs again on battery, even the check box (under the power meter) is unchecked.
The only way to charge the battery, is to let the battery drains out (the phone turns itself off) and remove the battery from phone for few minutes.
I have the original ROM 1.57.831.1 (47324) WWE from 04/08/09 and i tried one hard reset ("clear storage" from settings).
Does anyone know how to fix this ?
I'm verry disappointed. Now it does'nt charge even i remove the battery.
I think i'll try the warranty service.
No other suggestions ?
Are you sure it is the problem of the HTC HD? I got hte same problem. But because I charged my second battery which was newly bought from the official website HTC UK. My original battery works well. So I returned my second battery.
Try another battery.

yep, same here...
my girlfriend and me, we own a HD, pretty much the same issue...
My device frist stated "unkown main battery status" and has been only willing to charge the battery while switched off and connected to PC (charger doesn't work).
My grilfriend's one now refuses to start at all.
One thing for sure - its not battery related since my fully recharged battery doesn't make her device starting.
I sometimes pulled out the battery without swichting the device off, or left it running for days before reseting it...i guess that might have triggered the problem...
gotta send it in, hopefully they don't mind my custom rom!

I had this problem to.... Change of USB cable did the trick! So.....it's possible that your USB mini cable is dead. Try another USB if you haven't tried it yet.
Thank you all.

I don't think it's the cable because i let the phone charging on my desk and suddenly, after few minutes (sometimes 1 min, sometimes 60 min) it stops charging (without touching/moving the cable),

Well, in your case, for sure its not battery related.
After i left the battery out of the phone for 6 hours, it start charging again for 45 min then, the notification led start blinking red and green. After 2 minutes, the led turns off and i started the phone with 40% battery life.
It's driving me crazy and i don't know what to think!
I start to believe it's a battery problem but i'll ask for service opinion too, since i payed a lot of money for this.
Solved
My handset was repaired in service.
The problem was hardware related, generated by malfunction of switching power alimentation mechanism to motherboard.

Wizard Won't Charge!!

Hello there everybody! Just now, I had a phone call, which I hadn't been aware of the battery condition. The phone ended up dying. Now, what happen is I'll connect it to the charger and power it on. Right when it loads the main screen after a minute, it dies immediately. I have now had any success with random attempts. Can I have some advice?
Try charging it with USB.
If this doesn't work too, try it with some 3sec shocks with a 9V battery directly to the phone's battery.
my advice to you is plug it in...wait until the orange light on the phone is on...then u can have a beer...come back in 10 and that lil charge should be enough for u to power it up, it can continue to charge while its on...better yet, to be safe....let it charge for a few hours before u have it on..
as you boot the phone...in that state, they phone doesn't charge...and it uses mainly the battery...after the boot loading...thats when your charge take over...happened to me n i ended up getting a new battery for a vintage phone...

[Q] Rebooting after dead battery.

Ok i don't know what's going on with this. I have been running a rom for a while on here, not sure which one, but this seems to happen with any Rom i've tried. But when the battery dies and i try to go to recharge it, it just keeps rebooting when it tried to load windows. . Once in awhile i have gotton it to go thru by unplugging it right before it goes into windows and then repluging it up when windows starts. But even that isn't working today.
Any ideas as to what to do to get it to charge properly?
Hi
I have an other experiens with dead battery. When my HD2 was dead I tryed to charge it but the red light indicating that´s charging didn´t get on. I red somewhere in this forum that when using current MAGLD 1.3 you must use external charger to charge the battery when dead but hopfully this will be corrected in future MAGLD. Reacently at work when I didn´t have my external charger with me my battery/HD2 died. I pulled in the usb charger and left so whitout the red light. After 1 hour the HD2 came alive and rebooted 2-3 times and I pulled the usb-charger and battery out. I pulled the battery back into my HD2 and it started as usual and I continued charging the battery full.
I think HD2 battery is charging even when the red light is off and it behaves strange when it cames alive. Try to pull out and in the battery and start the HD2. If it keeps rebooting I think you must try to hard reset WP7 (in magld when wp7 starts booting the 12.. is displayed hold down both upp and down volumkeys and when the text about rebooting is displayed push the volum down) this vill erase all your settings so be aware. Good luck
Hold down red/end key boot into magldr and let it sit charging for a few minutes. You will NOT see the charging light.
Boot as normal into wp7 and you will have enough juice to let it start charging.
I have the same problem when I use my HTC charger. But when I use my Samsung charger (came with my Galaxy Ace) HD2 boots normally. Also I noticed that when I use the phone on HTC charger battery keeps droping. I think it uses more power then the HTC charger charges. With my Samsung charger i dont have this problem.
I tried charging in MAGDLR menu, but that only drained the battery more. (v1.13) I had to buy a universal charger ($4) to get my phone working again.
Any idea why this hasn't been fixed in MAGDLR yet? Or might there be an alternative?
For now, I think I will program Tasker to shutdown the phone at 10% battery...
Sent from my Transformer TF101 using xda app-developers app
Same issue here but this time i got the Storage card missing message so i had to flash the rom again and i lost all my data. We should be very carefull with this issue till we get an update for magldr

[Q] Phone wont charge Help

Hi there Guys I have an find 5 and it wont charge or sometimes it wont even turn on.
The phone boots up and it will display that it has 4% battery then this will go up to 5% or even 6% but then it starts dropping back to 0%.
At the moment I am unable to use the phone as it just jumps back to zero and turns off if I unplug the phone.
Here is what I have done so far:
Use a different charger and cable
Charge with pc
Keep the phone off and charge for 1-2 hours non stop
Turn the phone on and charge for a few hours
What do you guys suggest I do. I have a useless phone atm.
Thanks in advance.

Looks like faulty battery management or a faulty battery. I would contact OPPO for advice what to do. Just contact them and give all the information you provided here. It could maybe be a rom issue but i think that's unlikely. Try reflashing a rom but make sure the phone is connected to power during flashing, because a powerloss would be bad. Just ask them if you should try to reflash the rom or if you should just send ik back to them. My experience with Oppo's warrenty is really good I sent it back to HK and got a new one before mine arrived + a refund for the shipping costs. Good luck.
I had the same thing, problem was that my phone just completely refused to charge like at all. I was freaking out because of it, since I saw that many people were having problems with the USB connector on the Find 7a. I was just hoping and praying it was not the same with my phone. Then I was at school, forgot my charger and asked my friend, who had a Sony Xperia Z3 phone, who borrow me his charger. And all of a sudden my phone started charging.
It appears that the standard charger included in the package is quite vulnerable to excessive charging. Eventually the connector will get loose and won't be able to charge the phone. I would suggest you to use a different charger for a change, also...in case you already use a different charger, make sure it has the same amps throughput as the original Oppo charger does, if it is too low it has troubles charging as well since the throughput is lower that the phone uses to charge and keep the phone running. Have you tried to charge the phone already completely turned off?

is using Mi A1 without Battery safe?

Im not sure if my battery is old or not coz i bought it this year but facing the same problem after flashing Twrp through PC and installing custom rom. Even with fast charger its saying charging slowly and right now im using it with 0% so its fine to use it while charging i guess. It might have something to do with the rom? I don't know... I'm gonna download other rom and see if it can be fix. There is a problem with mounting '/Vendor' too.. Lol!
you can check the battery health with this app
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ezlapp.battery.testing
maybe its battery problem not with rom.
i checked the battery health and it shows Very Bad.
and my phone turns off even while charging so i removed the battery and plug in charger and turn it on now its working fine.
