I was got some problem on my MS2 of rom Argen2Stone 2.7,
when I update the rom to A2S 2.7,
the function "Manual overclock ( O+UP/DOWN)" and function "OK+Shift turns the flashlight ON" all worked,
but when I update busybox,
that ComboKey function was failed,
anyone can tell me how to repair it?
I have a idea is restore busybox with A2S 2.7's original version,
but I don't know how to do it,
or someone have any other good idea?

Hey everyone, so up to yesterday I was running modaco N1 2.0 ROM but trying to install the updated google maps became a pain cause nothing was working. Tried all the solutions on the modaco forum but didn't work for me. Anyways, I decided to go back to stock with root cause I still wanted to be able to USB and wifi tether. Anyways, installed the tether packages and now it says I have an improperly configured kernel. I'm sure this is related to the kernel being stock but I Dont know how to fix the issue. I was hoping someone could guide me. Could I simply pull the kernel out of modaco's/Cyanogen's ROM and push it to my N1? If so, I'd like some help since this is past my knowledge.

bump cause I'm hoping someone can help me. I tried following the instructions on google code for updating the kernel to do this but I'm getting this error when doing ismod

Got it working, the Undervolted kernel will work on stock rom, using the insecure boot image and pushing the wireless module. in the undervolted zip.
I was installing circle battery and after restar i got error "The Process com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly" I searched around and most of users with same problem needed to flash their phone.How do i do it ,since i can not mount it i cant do anything on phone mssg doesnt let me do it.
What should i do ,pls help
Get an official ROM here http://wiki.modaco.com/index.php/Huawei_Firmware_U8800 then follow the PDF instruction inside.

I installed the software JGM Gingerbread Theme and JGM Software Gingerbread Circle Mod Theme for FLB-Froyo - Version 1.4
After restart i got an error and phone has become unusable ,but I managed to solve with the restore from backup.Now I'm back on B160
Ive recently installed the latest version of Dorimanx 2.9.5 with the LATEST KERNEL (2.0, I know there is a 2.1 in the repostories but dont know how to download/compile that) .
After installing dorimanx I get no wifi connection whatsoever. Tried updating the kernel (flashing caches, fixing permision via clockwork AND rom manager) to 2.0 since I read on the forum that It fixed it. Sadly no luck with me.
Can I get some help here, maybe what options you selected during install?
I selected:
no 2way
magldr
change to the classic cm7 theme
use the full/high version
simple effects
NO fast dormancy
boot boost on!
cron jobs ON
After the update to 2.0
same things as up
selected to install busybox
Any help would be aprreciated
there is a fix for download, but i cant figure out how to install this fix, please help me

I got app: Rom Manager and got to recovery that way, then i run the zip from there and then rebooted, now my gps worx again

i got a problem with my defy recently.
i was running CM7 by Epsylon3.
As we all know, this rom comes with defy basebandswitcher v4.0, and it works well.
Yestoday, i want to update this "BBS" to v4.1. but when i uninstall v4.0 and install v4.1(http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1203297), open it , it shows "unable to detect your baseband configuration, it's possibly damaged."
then i reinstall v4.0, but i cant find it in app drawer. i'm sure it's installed and i can see it in "setting-->applications-->manage applications" also in "dev tools-->package browser".
i tried the method in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=21844497 . I renamed "system/etc/motorola/bp_nvm_default" and reset it to default use v4.1. but no new filefolder "bp_nvm_default" generated. and the problem still exist.
i also flashed offical SBF file 3.4.2_179-4.4(VFSBLUR) , 3.4.2_177-005(NORDIC) and reflashed CM7. still cant find app with v4.0 and the same message with v4.1.
Edit:half fixed... I reflashed stock sbf (different versions) several times , then flash CM7-11 again, after a bootloop, pull out the battery, power up, the "BBS" v4.0 bundled worked normally. but v4.1 still doesn't work.
Another question, i got a FOTA (com.motorola.process.system) FC. Maybe i should repost another thread. There is no responding here. Sorry for my poor english....
