Is it still possible to remove the lock code in order to use it with an other simcard?
Thanks!
Bro.. You unlocked the BOOTLOADER and flashed a different Kernel .... that isn´t Simunlock and has nothing to do with it .... to Simunlock you need to buy or get a code ...
Bootloader Unlock and Sim Unlock isn´t the same .You misunderstood something I guess... With flashing a different Custom Rom you can remove your Phone branding but not the Simlock neither you can unlock with flashing a Kernel - Kernel is for the System the bridge..

i have a SonyEricsson w8 E16i with manufacturing date: 11w28 . is it safe to unlock the bootloader,
I'm on a CustomRom GingerDx-V21 ,
I heard that date doesn't matter as every w8 is in danger zone! is it true?
I suspect if u upgrade it using seus before ur in danger... Anyway i HEARD that 11W29 above are affected.... Mine 11W26 and unlocked sucessfully

I bought an unlocked unbranded Motorola defy from new egg .com and the issue here is What sbf file do i need to go back to the stock firmware it had, as i can only find t-mobile and others. I am in the US. Help! I will be returning the phone soon because of the connectivity issues.
have you had a look at this thread?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=966537
there are plenty of roms.
If you don't find unbranded US roms, what about trying non US ones -> like UK rom?
Unlocked as in operator unlocked ?
or Bootloader unlocked ? ( or just Rooted ? )
if only operator unlocked you should specify your full phone stats to get valid advice on SBF.
Flashing the wrong SBF could cause you much trouble if you loose downgradeability.
Post your stats according to this format and ppl will be able to help you better:

I've checked using s1tool and it said that the bootloader was locked, but when i tried unlocking it using sony's official way, it said that was already unlocked :S any way to revert this?
So did you unlock with s1tool in the first place?

no, i didn't. I bought this used phone and already came that way. I've used the s1tool to verify if the bootloader was unlocked, since during sony's tutorial it said it was already unlocked. In the s1tool was written "LOADER VERSION: R4A069" and far as i know, it means the bootloader is locked.
Have you tried relocking the bootloader see if that helps as usually you cannot flash stock if the bootloader has been officially unlocked.

Yes, i did, through flashtool. Everything goes ok when unlocking and relocking the bootloader, but same "failed to verify sin" error. Is there a possible way to return to stock instead of using the flashtool?
If you have a ta backup you should be able to restore and flash with Sony update service. If not then maybe someone with setool can help contact phoneunlockserver.com they unlocked my girlfriend's Xperia with setool

This works on ANY Xperia Z (C6603).
Your Xperia Z does NOT have to be rooted.
Your Xperia Z does NOT have to be bootloader unlocked.
This does NOT re-lock a SIM unlocked phone (unlocking is ONCE and PERMANENT).
This does NOT unlock your bootloader.

Just try this Rom, everything are smooth. However, one thing I'm notice is "data roaming " is change back to old one,
I mean before flash this Rom, I have option to choose "national" or "international " roaming.
There is a way to get this option back?

I don't know if it's possible.
In Portugal there's no national roaming (small country), so I guess that behavior might be different depending on which country's ROM variant you use.
I'd suggest you try another 10.3.1.A.0.244 ROM (there are several available) if you need national roaming.
Thank you for your replied,
Yes I agreed that I have to try other Rom. However I like this Rom because of NFC logo. Do your have recommended Rom that have nfc logo enable. But I don't want to root this device,. Thank you very much
I knows that it's easy to enable if root but

Are you sure? Can you try with another browser?
Once I acknowledge the warning prompts about the site wanting to store a large amount of data on the local storage, the download starts successfully.

HI GUYS
I know many of us are getting dissapointed when we are unlocking bootloader and having freeze issue, all our hopes of flashing custom rom gets washed away..
First of all i would like to explain why this issue is appearing
As you know zenfone 5 has only 3 variants a500cg/a501cg/a502cg.The most popular ones being a5001cg/a500cg.the process of unlocking bootloader involves flashing two files known as IFWI and DNX (both are .img).our motherboards comes with its own version of IFWI and DNX loaded onto them, when the bootloader is unlocked, the IFWI and DNX of the unlocking tool gets flashed onto the motherboard. If the two versions(one from motherboard and other from unlocking tool)gets MATCHED there is NO freezing, unluckily if the files DO NOT GET MATCHED,FREEZING OCCURS.......
So the question comes why do some phones freeze and other do not? thats because asus manufactures ships different motherboards but with the same model tag a500cg/a501cg
and asus only know why it does so...
NOW COMING TO SOLUTION PARTTill now what i have learned is that the only way to solve freezing is locking the bootloader back and flashing stock firmware..
Recently i stumbled upon a post which claims of solving the freezing issue.after following the tutorial you will have
UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER WITHOUT FREEZES............ LINK==http://windroidica.in/2015/12/possible-bootloader-unlock-freeze-fix/
i contacted the developer via facebook and he told me that the linked post got some positi
I ALSO WANT SOME HELP FROM YOU GUYS,I WOULD LIKE THAT YOU ALL PLEASE SHARE SOME BASIC INFO,THE INFO GATHERED WILL BE ANALYSED BY ME AND THERE MIGHT BE SOME PATTERN DISCOVERED like phones manufactured after the month xx and year 20xx are having freezes..this will obviously help other users as they would be knowing that they are going to have freezes and would not void their warranties..
INFORMATION REQUESTED==
IF YOU HAVE FREEZING ISSUES PLEASE TELL THE FOLLOWING THINGS::
1] PHONE MODEL NUMBER (lik a500cg or a501cg)
2] PURCHASE DATE(MONTH AND YEAR)
3]PLACE OF PURCHASE(COUNTRY)
