no, that is not normal. Maybe some app went rogue or something. There is definately no cap on the number of apps you can have. Hope you made a backup!
Dutch: nee, dat is erg raar. Misschien dat een app raar is gaan doen, misschien was je met Titanium Backup o.i.d. aan het klooien? Er is in elk geval geen maximum aantal apps. Hopelijk heb je een backup gemaakt!
Sorry mate, realise English isn't your first language but you aren't making sense.
This is the problem.... http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=25563
The .android_secure folder gets too big basically, from too many apps installed. Affects all phones, but Samsung phones more than others!

Kies is like iTunes for iPhone.
You can backup files, apps, data, media, photos, contacts etc.
You can also install updates on your phone with kies.
Read more here.

If you update your phone with kies then your phone will only be updated. It will not revert your phone back to factory conditions.
If you are rooted and modded your phone then official Samsung updates will most probably not work in kies so people use more general software "Odin" to flash things on their phone. Kies does not let you flash un-official roms, kernel or recoveries on your phone. Or in general terms, kies does not let you flash anything on your phone that do not came from Samsung.
And that's where Odin helps. Odin let you flash anything you want on your phone, official Samsung stuff as well as un-official stuff. That's why you need to be very careful about how you use Odin because if you do not follow procedure correctly then you might brick your phone.

Yes thats a nice explanation of the diference so does this mean that The funktion in kies called UPDATE AND INITIALIZE does everything the same as odin only for official firmware

My sm-n9005 often disconnects from my wifi (fritzbox) and shows "you are not logged in" in the notification centre...
Only appears wirh Fritz!Box all other routers are okay.
I am on mi7 unbranded (former german tmobile device)
Do you think an update to mj3 will fix this?

Hi mate,
An update to a new firmware will not solved the problems from any rooter.
which fritzt!box do you use?
I have used the 7390 and now the 7490 and all works fine. But i have read some comments that the 7390 have sometime conection problems.
That should be solved with the new firmware OS 6.00 (84.06.00). All newer boxes should get the new firmware step by step.
Here you have a look for updates
