Hi,
My phone is HTC HD2 and using MIUI.us rom version MIUI.us_leo_2.4.13_En.
Lately actually since 3 days back I cannot go to recovery mode to update ROM from zip file on SD card. When I go to MAGLDR and then to AD Recovery and then press send button to go to recovery mode, I get response: Error Error: Can not read ramd isk image. I am using MAGLDR v1.13 and partition is 150MB.
Can anyone help me what is the problem that it is not letting me go to the recovery mode???
Please email me if you have the solution at [email protected] as I am afraid that I wont be able to find my this post as this site is too complected for me.
I will be ever grateful if anyone can help me on this.
Many thanks.

Sorry, don't know how to help you but an easy way to find this thread again is to click on your username in the top right corner of the page, click on the statistics tab and then find all threads started by Ronju Khan
If you can't be bothered TO FIND YOUR OWN POST, I'm sorry but I, myself, am not willing to help.
But if you do come back, here is my reply:
You tried to do something using ROM Manager (or a similar app), and since MAGLDR doesn't support such features, it breaks your CWMR & you'll have to reflash it.
A similar issue here, with a fix as well : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1337663

Dear Nigeldg, Sorry I could not find the statistics tab in the top right corner of the page. However, I have solved the problem by re installing the 150MB partition again. This solved the problem and now AD RECOVERY is working fine. I used Titanium backup to restore my original settings. Many thanks for your response.
Cheers.

Dear Marvlesz,
You are the person who detected what went wrong with my phone. Yes, I did use ROM Manager and downloaded a rom to install and thus my AD Recovery stopped to work. But the link you gave and what it says is too complected for me. So what I did is to re-install the 150MB partition again by using DFT and now it is working fine. My AD Recovery is working fine. I used titanium backup to restore my original settings.
Many thanks for your kind suggestion.

So you did come back, how did you find your thread?!
In fact, you did what the link had said, except in a different way.
The solution is to reflash CWMR. But if you reflashed it with DAF.exe, it will remove your ROM. Whereas doing it from the "AD SD" (the link I provided) is only going to fix CWMR while keeping your ROM intact and untouched.
(Thanks to samsamuel)
rapartition your recovery with the hd2 toolkit .

Did you install Koush's Droid X Bootstrapper? You need that so you can boot into clockwork recovery properly.

No, sir. I don't believe I did. I did not see that as a requirement in using ROM Manager in any of the instructions.

Install that and launch the program. Click Bootstrap Recovery and I believe it asks for superuser permission, allow it and then it should say success, click ok. Now try to boot into recovery.

Excellent!!! That did the trick!!! Thanks a lot.
I did a Nandroid backup. Should I be concerned the backup mentioned no sd ext.available and skipped that backup? Other than that, it went well.
I am going to go ahead and install RummyJAR through ROM Manager. Should I do a wipe data when it prompts me?
Thanks a lot for the help!!!

Zer0ed,
Glad to see you got the problem fixed.
I'm using clockwork revovery v2.5.0.1 and running Myn's 2.2 RLS5. While backing up data portion the process freezes at 72f9da2d. When I search for this file using root explorer, it finds it under:
/data/data/com.enflick.android.ping/cache/
WebviewCache/72f9da2d
Is there anything I can do? I have tried several times and can't get it to work.
I really am a noob! I even posted in the wrong section. Sorry

Worked like a charm. Thank you very much. Turns out enflick is the company behind PingChat. I guess i was storing data from that since September because the file was extremely large. None the less, problem solved thanks to you!

Ah thats not good,i suppose you dont have a Nandroid either? i suggest you do a nandroid backup right now, format data & cache and try rebooting. If it still doesnt work , your /System partition may be corrupt. best to go with the above mentioned post by klebengan which would return you back to stock.
Mind you, in both cases you would lose your data. so do a nandroid right now, atleast wou would have a chance to extract important data later once you are up and running again.
BTW, This is the wrong place for this thread, it should be in Q & A and i m pretty sure there would be similar or related posts

ok, thanks for the tip but I tried to even follow the Klebengan post but the main problem is that I am not even able to go to the download mode with the volume key up and Plugin in the usb cable.
I have the flash tool and the kdz file but as i said I am not able to go to the download mode so I am not able to use the LG flash tool also.
If somebody can help me with the steps of transfering the zip file in to the phone memory I can atleast try to install the custom rom once the phone goes on and starts than I may try to flash with the kdz file.
pls help

OMG Thank you. It worked !
App crash, Process System Message after flash = Go Back & Restore.
Dont ignore and proceed after getting 'process system is not responding' -- press OK & flash your backup as there is a problem, there should be no error like this. I found flashing kernel with Odin3.6.10 was more successful a process. It can also be an issue with the recovery rather than the kernel file.
