USB Mass Storage - Galaxy Tab 7.7 General

is there a way or an app that will connect my internal SD to my computer as mass storage? as per my previous post "stuack at bootscreen" I formatted my internal SD for my device to work, now I need to recover the lost file using my aggressive file recovery program, but for it to work, I have to mount my internal SD, I tried using it the mount USB storage via CMW recovery but it's looking for a file and nothing happened, I remember using my previous p1000 tab before wherein I can mount the tab via recovery, is there a way to do the same thing on our P6800?
Please advise
thanks and have a nice day

[Q] Can't copy files to SD

Hello,
Today I've flashed MAGLDR+CWM and then flashed Android. All worked perfectly until I decided to flash another build and tried to copy the ZIP package to my SD card, which I couldn't. When booting to MAGLDR usb mass storage option the computer "sees" the SD, but as soon as file copy starts the computer "loses" the SD and MAGLDR freezes (had to take battery out). When I boot the build I flashed, connect USB cable and select USB Mass storage, the computer sees the drive but claims there's no disk in it. What is wrong here?
TIA
Don't use magldr mass storage, it has bugs. Boot into cwm, go to mounts and storage and select mount usb storage. Works perfectly.
MAGDLR work for me... CWM not...
Anyway, the best is to just slot your SD in a card reader.
NB: If you're under Android, do not forget to "unmount" the SD before removing it.
[SOLVED][Q] Can't copy files to SD
It now looks like the problem is PC-related, as I was able to successfully copy files to SD from another computer. Thank you for your help.

[Q] Internal Storage

I just unlocked my bootloader and now I cant access my internal phone storage.
Its says: Internal phone storage is in USB mass storage mode. Please exit this mode to access internal phone storage.
Any advice? Its not plugged into the usb. I have restarted the phone. I pulled the battery and everything. When I go to file and click on internal phone storage I get the message above. I can access my sd card.
Have you tried plugging it in to your computer via USB and changing the USB connection on the phone to 'None'? That's probably what I would do. Worth a shot.
Yeah I did and no luck. I'm think of just sbf 1.8.3 and see what happens
Yeah I'm not sure what else to try. What ROM are you running?
Its been fixed. Just had to go to settings and storage and mount internal.

[HELP] Recovery doesn't read/mount my external SD...

Good, I have the latest version of the MIUI (2.1.13) and CWM 4.0.0.5 and I can not mount the external SD in CWM (this only reads/mounts internal).
I'll try to explain what is wrong with me ...
With external storage in x5 settings:
- CWM gives error when you mount the external sd.
- CWM just read the sdcard or internal sdcard.
- In the root explorer in the sd-ext has nothing.
- in the root explorer the sdcard folder has my files of the external card (strange I think).
- Connected to the PC can see both cards as the external is drive H: andinternal as drive I:
With internal storage x5 settings:
- CWM gives error when you mount the external sd.
- CWM just read the card or internal sdcard.
- In the root explorer in the sd-ext has nothing.
- In the root explorer in sdcard folder has the default rom files.
- I can not see the external sd root anywhere in explorer.
- Connected to the PC can see both cards as the external drive I: and internal as drive H: (exchange units in relation to external storage - WEIRD!)
I've tried to put my phone with al factory settings (TMN original ROM (portugal) and pink screeen files) then root and install all CWM recovery's but with everyone of them i can not mount or install (read) from my external sd in the recovery...
What worries me most is that I can only install Roms from the internal sd, so if one day can not make it boot the phone I'm F *****...
Someone can help me solve this?
now when i connect to pc i see my sdcard as a cd drive...i can see the files but i can't change anything what is going on?
On project menu, which appears with #*#*2846975*#*# on official 2.3(doesn' t work on miui AFAIK) there is a menu related to sd card. I've read before some time that someone fix this CD kind mount problem from there. I think that the enabled option is GOOGLE. If not, change it to that, reboot and see if the problem solved. Otherwise try the other options.
2nd problem solved...thanks!
What about my problem about recovery and external sd?
Try to check the card from pc, and maybe backup and refromat it to fat32.
SOLVED!!!!
Good news!
Can you post how, so the solution be available for others with same problem?

What's currently the best recovery that can access both the internal storage and external SD Card?

I'm using the TWRP version installed via GooManager and it does support both internal and external memory.
You can read/write nandroid backup from/to both memory as well as install new ROM from the 2 mem.
I have not been able to share the internal/external memory to my PC via USB cable while I'm in recovery mode.
It's probably a driver issue on the PC side, I have not investigated too much this issue since I can easily get around it.
I've been stuck on some extremely old CWM that I installed from rooting months ago so thank you!

[Q] Mount Internal Storage in Recovery?

Hey guys, I am running Philz Touch Recovery on my i9507 and was wondering if there was a way to mount internal storage while inside recovery? I tried going to the Mounts and Storage menu but the only option there is for External SD Card and I don't have an microSD card in my device, only using the internal storage.
Thanks
Bump
Doesn't it detect the storage automatically if you connect the phone to the pc while in recovery?
I'm pretty sure that this works with TWRP.
It's not possible what you want. That's a limitation of Android.
