Hello,
I have a V880 ZTE AMOLED screen, and CM7 installed.
The problem I have is that occasionally, there are few blue flashes on the screen. As I said its former owner, are caused by a lack of battery temperature. If you start to do it, rub the battery to heat a little and then stop blinking.
Does anyone know how I can solve this problem?
You can see a video of the problem in youtube, searching for:
"ZTE Blade fallo de pantallazos azules"
Sorry, I am new to the forum and I can not put the link directly
This probleme happen when the phone is exposed to low temparture beaucause of a connector of the screen which become smaller with the cold.
Send from my ZTE Blade!

hay from today morning my htc touch shows a white screen and a crack on the bottom corner of the screen.i am sure that it dint fell down.
then what may be the problem?
anyone knows pls tell me...
white screen?
When you turn on your phone, there is no smart mobility.
Crack?
Is that an LCD problem?
i have the same problem with the WHITE SCREEN. bought my ELF 3450 second hand over the net. i am from the Philippines by the way and HTC units are not yet very common here and also the parts/accessories. it worked fine for about 3 months with minor problems such as Auto-Restart/Auto Power On/OFf which was solved using the "plastic on the OMAP chip method" - tnx for the forum for the info by the way and charging problems which was also solved by buying me a aftermarket charger. but recently the problem of AUTO OFF occurred again until it did not work at all. so, i tried to check the Plastic over my chip but to no avail the fone was dead. so, i decided to head to one of our local cellphone repair shops and have my OMAP heated thinking that maybe there are just contact points inside who became loose. when we tried to power on it was good for a few minutes then i noticed the screen went darker and darker and then it was all WHITE. we restarted it but it's just WHITE. tried to send messages and call it but there is no response from the fone. i'm afraid i toast it bad or may be it's just the LCD who got toasted, i am clueless.
CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME WITHMY PROBLEM. CAN I GIVE LIFE BACK TO MY ELF? WHAT'S THE CHEAPEST & BEST SOLUTION TO THIS? THANX ...
Generally white screen problem are caused by defects in flex connecting the LCD to the mainboard or the connector itself. Try to disconnect and reconnect the LCD, if doesn't work - replace the LCD.

You warmed the OMAP? Interesting....
This problem sounds really complicated.
And im quite surprised of your 'warming' method.
I've had the exact same problem combined with the fact that my touch was resetting constantly. I was about a minute away from throwing it out of the window when I tried the plastic-piece-on-omap processor-technique described in one of the threads here. It solved the rebooting problem, but not the white screen issue. After a very frustrating couple of days where the screen started to blink and shake and then eventually turned to white alltogether, I lowered my brightness to the second stop from start, and since then I haven't experienced the white screen anymore. I believe it is heatrelated.
Whilst not being a full solution to the problem, at least it renders the phone usable.
Hope this helps anyone.
Heating the device very seldomly solves anything, but causes more problems that you originally started with.
iam using htc touch (p 3450) for nearly 18 months . (bought & using it in india ) my hand set fell two times in water and about 15 times fell on the floor (from shirt pocket) . still its working fine .
and iam using "opera mini " for browsing the internet . for some sites iam using "opera mobile " . when iam on opera mini , continueously for long ours , suddenly it turns white . never come to normal screen unless restarted . but it happens sometimes , may be because of memory or heating up of some H/W .
Hi hotchamo,
my htc touch elf hat a similary issue, and my father just "wringed" it gently until the white screen disappeared. You should try it carefully, since it may help and it won't harm. Just take in in both hands and turn them in the opposite direction, so that the case gets slightly twisted.
If that doesn't help you should open it and check the LCD flat cable connector...
Best regards,
scheutak
Again - flex connector problem. 'Wringing' it gently will eventually result in your LCD cracking, by all means - go for it, it will solve your white screen problem. Permanently.
Hi,
I've just purchased my D802 from a friend who said the screen was faulty.
When turned on, there are white ghosting lines behind text and light colours, but when it is something black there is no such issue.
After using it for a while, leaving screen on for 10 minutes or so and scrolling through images, the display seems to go more and more white until i turn off and turn it on, then it goes somewhat normal and happens again.
Is this an issue with the LCD itself? I've had a look inside, and it doesn't seem like it's ever had a screen replacement of any kind.
Thanks in advance.

You have not given sufficient details for someone to troubleshoot this issue.
1 Rooted?
2 Have Custom Recovery?
3. what ROM are you running?
If you answered YES to 1 and 2 just dowbload the correct kernel from this post then flash in RECOVERY (LINK White Lines Fix)
Hi,
I'm facing the same problem :/ and the problem gets worst when brightness is high.
Not rooted
No recovery

hey guys,
I have problem with my 3 months old Galaxy S7 edge. One day on my display appeared green and pink lines . I tried some solutions I find on the internet but none of them realy helped. Adjusting the brightness, switching the type of screen is just the temporarily solution. I tried even downgrading, replacing the android room but its just a small improvement or its getting worse.
When cpu reaches 21 degrees my display starts flickering and it goes green or black. And i can't see nothing, until i wait a few minutes.
Can you please help me to find out what causes this...
Try cpu cooler from playstore
Trimis de pe al meu SM-N9005 folosind Tapatalk
Sounds like a faulty device? You might want to try the option stated above or swap it out for a new one.
one month old device and having a pink line on the right side of the display. no droping or anything. if i press the uper right of the screen a little harder it gets really bright ( the line ). If i start the oculus apk it disaparears. very strange.
i requested a screen replacement because it seems hardware related but it also could be a software bug...
Hello,
I have phone D802 , it didn't fall down or anything but since I turn it on today the screen turns just grey with points (like a tv without signal) or it boot's up normaly (Shoes normal bootanimation of RR without flickering) and than when it boots to system it's total crazy colors and flickering, I can't see anything, when I go to TWRP it flickers too so I think it's hardware problem? I have no more warranty... Anyone can help me please?
Mine got that problem too. I had to put some pretty thick (about 1mm) double-sided tape between both 2 display (I guess) connectors and plastic screwed shield.
It's my third day without flickering screen since the fix.
I hope it'll help
Hello,
I repaired the screen of my Mi mix 3 5g a little while ago. But since the repair I have been complaining about several bugs. Like the screen that starts flashing yellow but only when launching some applications. These applications seem to be youtube, the playstore and the different browsers. To be clearer this flashing means a constant change from yellow to black on the screen. I'd like to attach a video of this but I'm not allowed to post a link yet. I will do it as soon as possible. Do you think it's coming from the smartphone or the screen?
Of course, all the connectors are properly connected.
Hi ! Have you installed an Oled replacement screen or a LCD one ?
I installed an amoled screen
So it's possibly a defective one or damaged cable
