Please Help me To Unbrick my device

Brother i am upgrading my device it stoped at 2% now its dead only goes to bootloader show

i master reset but nothing happened i flash all roms on wiki nothing happened always say invalid tool
i need this rom because this has previous this
Rom version 1.8.415.2 wwe
Rom date 11-3-06
Radio 02.71.90
protocol version 4.1.13.31
EXT Rom 1.8.415.102

Was it CID locked? did you buy the phone r did you get it with a subsciption?

Not it is Not Cid locked & Also Not Sim Locked.. yes i buy from a shop in pakistan but when i upgrade i get problem

I also have bricked my Herald after upgrading to Aserg but nothing now ,,only green screen and off ...
it was CID locked

zubi1984: i had the same problem.
try mtty.exe (use wiki), and try the commands for it.
if it says something clearly, then you can -somehow- unbrick your device.
if it gives error..
-this happedned to me-
you should bring it to the service, with warranty.
if you are lucky, they will fix it to you without price.
i hope you have warranty, because the man in the service said that i really fuc*ed it up... the new motherboard would have been very expensive.. without warranty
so first of all, calm down, and let's start reading about the upgrade, read a lot, and go to another forums, maybe somebody can help to you unbrick your device

Can't flash using DAF ???

Hi guys ...
i have a problem when trying to flash my HD2 with any ROM using DAF
like DANDIEST ROMs
and here is the error i get (in the attachements)

[FIX] for Nand USB Init Failed The solution has already been stickied to the top of this forum. Try to search for your problem before you ask.

Before trying out the above solution...confirm if u are supposed 2 run DAF.exe instead of RUU.exe...???...
I say dis cuz i was once stuck trying 2 install stuff(can't remember wat) n i was supposed 2 run d RUU included in d downloaded folder but hweva i kept running DAF..naturally it didn't work ...So try it.

I have already tried this but it does not work
knowing that I have already installed this ROM for many times

Failed flashing process. Error processing flash file. (0x700F)

I ran RSDlite and this is the end result I get - "Failed flashing process. Failed flashing process. Error processing flash file. (0x700F); phone connected " Do I need to wait and let the phone reboot on its own, or is it a true "Fail"? it is only taking a minute or two to get to the fail message. Any help is good help here

Oh wow I've never seen that, if I were you I would wait a [email protected] minutes, if nothing changes attempt to reboot the phone... and btw I always flash. 26 then ota update to .52 so you could try that

There is no .52 OTA, it is 1.57 FYI

Try a newer version of RSDLite. I thought I've read that you need 5.0 or 5.1, it looks like you're on 4.9.

lol, wow I feel dumb. I was getting the same error as this guy, and it was because I was trying it on RSD 4.8. Downloaded 5.0 and it installed 1.2.6 just fine.

Make sure you have enough free space on the drive you're using. The unpacked SBF is huge and it has to do some additional unpacking while it's loading.

Find an XP computer to do it. Trust me.

I'm not sure if this matters but if you're on vista or win-7 make sure you're running everything with admin rights...also, place the sbf close to root and with a relatively short filename with regular characters. Ex. C:/1234.sbf

I was getting the same error running windows 7, I tried running with admin rights. Didn't work. But what I found that did work, was placing the sbf file directly on the desktop rather than in a folder. Running it directly from the desktop seems to have fixed the problem. Hope this works for you. Post back with results.

Failed to flash OLYFR_U4_1.2.6

Hello everyone,
I lost root after updating my Atrix (lesson learned the hard way) and I was trying to flash back to 1.26 to reroot using RSD Lite, but I keep getting "Error sending RAM download for bootloader". I tried some different settings mentioned in forums, I even did a factory restore as a hail mary, but I still get the same error message.
I'm not sure if this is related, but my SD card slot stopped detecting my cards (I tried 2).

Not sure about your error, but Gingerbreak can be used to root any version of software on the phone. So you may not need to flash back down.

Thanks for the help, I tried to do gingerbreak but as I said, my SD card slot wasn't working, so I googled around, and found this: web.me.com/frankvanhuet/Site/Motorola_Atrix.html (cant link url, new user :S), anyways that fixed it up and I continued on to root and sideload. Hope this will help someone.

i think you installed mgldr,after that don't click daf.just find a rom from nand thread,follow its instructions,if you can't, ask for help again.

You need to make sure you to right click on your mouse and Run as Administrator before running the DAF.exe file.
