I need help pls!!

hello fellows i have a serious problem here!! i was trying to put the Darky's v9.3 Extreme Edition on my SGS movistar spain, and after i install Kernel SpeedmodK13C with odin the touch screen stop working but the buttons works fine :S!!! i wipe the phone and nothing happens.... i think is a fixeable thing but i dont know what to do X_X pls help me

First thing to try is reflashing 9 times out of 10 that will fix u up also try voodoo kernel instead of speedmod might make a difference i use voodoo myself but only cuz it was loaded with the rom first

omg men u save my life literaly :') i succes on install the Darky's rom xtreme edition but the menu is the same as the froyo 2.2 :/ i thought it'll be more likely to the 2.3 gingerbread ... is there a way to have that menu style?

download gingerbread launcher from the market. its free

sounds lik you installed the wrong version of speedmod kernel there is one from the i9000 models and one for the captivate.. the touch button drivers are diffeent and the symptoms you describe would be what happen if you install wrong kernel.

You should add like best Froyo ROMs & best Gingerbread ROMs.. but this thread a little pointless, because I believe a WHOLE LOT of ROMs are the BEST to certain people's eyes...

[Help] is there a working cm7 rom for sg3?

First of all sorry guys i m not in the mood of searching through the forums please forgive me
And now back to the question---is there a working ,near bug-less rom for sg3? I heard about kyrillos v10? Is it better than other cm7 roms( if any ) ?? I want this for my frnd who is new to flashing and roms ....
Pleasee help guys ...thanxx in advance
You know you are rooted when you use XDA more than FB

At this moment we only have 2 CM7-A8 based roms - Kyrillos v10.1 and Hercolubus v2.0. Kyrillos v10 has kyrillos tweaks which make it quite faster and better.
I really don't feel that you need any custom CM7 rom cause nothing else is needed.

I Used To Be A 2.3.5 User Until Yesterday I Flashed My I9001 To XXKQB!
I Had Strange Problem With WiFi In XXKQB , I Tried Many Things , Didnt Able To FIx WiFi Dropout Issue . .Now , I Have Tried XXKQ7,XXKQ6 And XXKQ1 , But Different WiFi Prob. Coming Along With New Stock ROMs!
# Is There Anything " To Do " For Home Wifi ?! After Flashing New Stock?!

im in a similar soup !
i9001xxkpu works decently with wifi ..
however im running kpu n wanna try kq1 as iv heard its wifi is kind of stable

Still think xxkqb is descent ! i dont get as many wifi drops as initially . Try increasing lease time and uss static.i.p .. Did wonders for me !

Anyone tried KingDroid ICS 1.6 ROM?

Hi Guys,
Did anyone tried KingDroid ICS 1.6 ROM....any review or suggestion?...presently i am on CM9...is it worth flashing to it?

I am on v1.6 now and it is very smooth&stable... Cm9 is still in its early beta stage and may have much more bugs than tw based kingdroid v1.6... It is worth to flash according to me... V1.6 contains latest ported apps from sgs3 ics rom including toucwiz ux... Call rec is enabled and all spen stuff is working... I am very satisfied with v1.6...

Every time you change ROM you should wipe, just be careful with the brick issue when wipe on ics stock kernel

My point was when someone is asking a group of people about opinion on something I will keep quite when I haven't tried it. Posting for the sake of posting in a thread is not a great idea.

I'm on LPF + bootloader flashed using Dr.Ketan instructions. Does anyone moved from this LPF to KDv1.6?

It's fine, but I like Rocket Rom more. I don't know why, but I guess it's because I ran with eybee's old ICS leak which was awesome.
Rocket Rom v2 + my SGS3 theme = smooth as hell.

Alternatively the OP could have read the KingDroid thread and make his own decision based on what people report in that thread instead of making a new one that clutters up the forum.

Try it. Rom, is very stable, new touchwiz is amazing and s voice works better than just installing the app on other ROM.

I'm using it right now, it's mostly smooth but google maps randomly FCs and after hanging up on phone calls it freezes for 5 seconds or so.

Yeah I'm getting that issue too! But otherwise it's a stable rom though it doesn't really work to well if your planning on using I like better but I have a feeling that Rocket Rom is going to be my choice just because I loved the GB equivalent.

Fool proof instruction from LPF (Ketan)
First get these to files on SD(cant post links, google pls):
CF-Root-SGN_ZS_OZS_LPF-v5.3 (get the .tar since Mobile Odin can not flash .zip)
AbyssNote kernel 4.2 Final RedPill Touch Original Logo (.zip vers.)
and the Kingdroid Rom
Download Mobile Odin(pro) and flash CF-Root-SGN_ZS_OZS_LPF-v5.3
Now Boot into recovery and flash AbyssNote kernel, still in CF-Root go to advance and reboot recovery (so now you are in abyss recovery)
In Abyss first Wipe Data/Factory after that wipe Cache and then wipe Dalvik
Now install from SD and chose Flash Kingdroid rom
Reboot and enjoy GNote
