Mytouch 1.2 after sappimg and reboot phone stuck at htc magic, please help

Hello i'm rooting my mytouch 1.2 for the first time, i've followed all instructions on unlockr, computer recognized phone, gold card successful, installed sappIMG and i've been stuck on htc magic screen for over 35 minutes. So the phone has never got to home screen where unlockr says the touch screen wont work, its been stuck on the htc magic screen. Do I just go ahead with the next procedures or what? thanks

Wow. The instructions must have been changed a lot since I rooted my phone.
When I rooted it was pretty easy to follow.
Make goldcard
Place goldcard in phone
Reboot to bootloader to flash sappIMG
Reboot to bootloader again to flash custom recovery
Flash stock spl 1.33.0013 back to device (so that you have all of your memory back)
Reboot to recovery to flash your custom rom.
Set up your phone
Reboot back to recovery and do a nandroid backup.

[Q] Help with my MT3g 1.2 I think its bricked?

my phone wont come off the the spalsh screen, even when i try to bootinto recovery or fastboost its just stuff on the green screen and the pixels are funny for some reason. i dont know exactly what i did but i tried to flash a new radio and spl is there any hope?

You can't get into bootloader at all?
If you can't get into bootloader or recovery then yes... you are bricked.
What did you do?

im not trying to hijack this thread but i didnt want to create a duplicate. mine also gets stuck on the splash screen. It wont load my recovery files and the adb interface on my computer wont work. im at a loss. Previously it was rooted with cyanogen mod 6.0

yes. i can do vol- and power and the white screen comes up with radio and spl showing.

I don't know what did but I fixed it. All I did was keep trying to flash the newest cyanogen rom and I wiped all caches and somehow it finally took I am sending from it now. But my hd2 will still remain primary phone

How did you do it? I cannot pass the splash screen but I can enter the FASTBOOT menus with the 3 skaters

All I did was wrote every cache and try installing a fresh rom a few times and somehow it worked. I was kinda surprised myself.

my solution on 10 second your magic will be alive (100% PROVEN & TESTED)
if u have problem with your magic (stuck on logo screen) maybe my solution it's work...

Pls follow my sollution (it work on my magic) for fix your magic first u don't panic because your magic will be have the recovery on the internal disk. u should be only recovery rebort your magic to earlier condition before your magic stuck on logo boot screen.
1.put off your magic battery (5 second) then put on again.
2.pls hold home button and then hold off button (power on) "until u see the screen cyanogen recovery bootloader" and then it's automaticly booting and pls chooses rebort recovery then recovery will started.
3.after that your magic freezed on recovery clockworkmod.
4.put your battery off on your magic and put on again.
5.your magic will be back alive

[Q] problems flashing roms

I am having trouble when I try to flash a new rom.
I have a HTC mytouch 3g 32b
I can install the rom fine (as far as I know), but when I reboot the phone it goes to the first splash screen with the green background and my touch logo. It will stay on this screen for a while, then it will reboot itself and go to the same screen for a while and repeat the loop until I pull the battery.
I can boot into recovery and restore the phone.
What can I do so the phone can boot into the newly installed rom?

Try a wipe and fresh installation.
Could be your spl/radio.

Mytouch 3g possibly bricked

so im trying to root my sisters mytouch 3g and it was originally 2.2.1 with a "perfect" spl, i used rom manager to flash clockwork mod, that failed and left me with no recovery, so i followed the guide to make a goldcard and was able to get it to the 2005 spl which showed s-off H (its a google branded phone) I was then able to flash clockworkmod recovery I then tried to flash cm6 to the phone and it just sat at the splash screen. I tried 2 other roms as well with the same results. Then i was reading more and it said the 2004 spl was s-off G so i went to flash that, it said flashing complete restart phone through menu to complete i did that and the update screen came up for a second then the screen went black.. Now i cant boot into hboot, recovery, or fastboot. Im thinking the phone is now bricked! Are there any other tricks to try and bring this thing back..I read somewhere about jtagging but could really find much about it. I need to get this thing working asap and dont even understand how this happened.. Its a brick. I'll tell you now that you can find a step by step process on using JTAG in the Wiki, but its not an easy process. Your going to have to have some moderate electronic knowledge plus moderate knowledge of how the phone boots to get it working. Your better bet would be to have it replaced under the warranty or insurance if you have either. If not, your second best bet would be to find someone who already has a working JTAG setup and see if you can get them to help you out.

Goldcard Root Method: Stuck on Splash Screen

Rooting my old phone for my sister after getting a mytouch 4g. My old phone had one of those perfect SPLs and i ended up using the goldcard method on the cyanogenmod wiki. After flashing a new radio from this thread and after rebooting the phone won't boot past the mytouch 3g splash screen. No, I can't boot into recovery mode and no, I can't boot into hboot/fastboot. Is there anything i can do to save this phone?

Same Problem
While trying different RUU****.exe It gets stuck at 81% showing Uncompressing on the phone.
