WP7Android Project On The Market!

Hey,
For those of you who don't know, the WP7Android Launcher Lite version has been released on the Android Market right now! check it out, and for those who wants to get the full version which has MUCH more than the Lite one, it can be found at www.wp7android.com/shop/
Other apps like the WP7 Contacts and the WP7 Phone and Zune are available too!
and they have integration with the launcher, and as I have read, they will have full integration with each other soon!
One more thing! On their forum, there is a section for themed apps, like facebook, message app, etc. Here is the link to the Facebook theme! http://wp7android.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=28

yeah it really has some cool apps, plus you don't have to swich OS's to try the UI out.

I have been following and working on this project for months now and it's a great concept, great developers, great support and is coming together nicely!
I have shown this project to many people and everyone has loved it and are encouraged for the final product(s)!
Keep up the great work and I really hope there will be a good following!

I'm just waiting on the WP7 Gallery and E-mail to be released.

Fede pwned you away with his music app already. Only a matter of time, Fede is gonna beat you again, be it the launcher or any other app. Hes just way better than you, he supports "lite" versions, has an open beta testen etc...

Newest Zune Beta I'm testing on works great, plays all my videos fine and Internet radio is solid. Only thing it needs is better scrolling, and it will become a smoother experience overall. Great job guys, keep it up.

My opinion WP7 Music App. ****s on fede. Wp7 has auto album detection, bio, build in radio and everything else that fede doesnt so stop hating.

We are reworking the math on the scrolling of the zune app as I type you're right, that was the only issue all testers reported. It will be fixed in the next release.
Just want to say thanks for the support guys, and remember, we are not just looking for money if you want to test .. banners, signatures, publicity at all I'd accepted as contributing. We need to spread the word now more than ever. Pm me if you have promotion ideas or anything that can help.
PS.... we are about to release the lockscreen and its AWESOME.

Personally, I didn't like either of the nextgen roms. Without Sombionix they don't seem to be able to do much. Sombionix did say he was working on something but nothing ever came of it.

I wish I can buy Iphone, but I can't buy.
I'm sure that someone can do this.
And there is many people that want iphone theme for galaxy.

When you want this theme so bad then start to create it on your own.
I think there is nobody who will create this theme for free for you.
As it was said before: try MIUI. There are a lot of themes, and yes, even iPhone themes for it.

Stop whining and use Go launcher, Go sms pro.
Contacts and MusicPlayer are better stock Samsung.
... or start learning how to make mods, it's really easy when you're not lazy and need something

This phone has an android version that look and work like iphone.

I was wondering if anyone can port the iPhone clone ROM from the gooapple phone into our tablet? Its not that want an iPad clone, its that I want to see if project butter can fool people into thinking its an iPad mini or something. Would be fun to make a video on the streets telling people its the new iPad mini.

You're better off switching to a cm10 based ROM and then downloading an iOS based theme or something. Alternatively, try miui launcher. It has the iOS kinda look / feel to it.

There's a difference between disagreeing and calling someone a retard. He's somewhat right. People flame for no reason just because they disagree, which really doesn't contribute to anything at all.
No need for anyone to attack him because he wants to see about an iPad mini; everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but respect seems to have been lost online. Half of these people wouldn't say the things they do in person.

This is a good launcher.
The reason I want to clone the iPad is because there's someone at work that's a iPhone fan, and I want to fool him by showing him "prototype" of the new iPad mini, and then once he gets excited and starts bashing Android I can reveal to him that its fake and get some good laughs

only 2 i know of are ilauncher, which isnt free and espier hd, which WAS free but for some reason got pulled from google marketplace.

Use espier launcher. I confess to doing the same. Making people think it's a pre production ipad mini. DEM APPLE FANBOIS!!

Dear oh Dear, no offence but get an iPad if you want iOS, if you want a 7 inch get the mini.
Why would you buy android and want iOS, there is a GOLauncher theme but whats the point?! Its a different OS for a reason !

PS - I doubt this will happen properly, as Apple would definately sue like they always do, I'm surprised a launcher has lasted so long.

It's impossible, iOS isn't an open source OS as android

your best bet is to install Miui on it, and thow on a iOS theme.
then throw on a crappy keyboard
get rid of your appwidgetpicker.apk in system/app folder (because you wont be needing any widgets)
tether yourself to iTunes for music and videos
use a crappy maps app
and there you have it......iOS

Completely different hardware.. even if people were to port it to our device, it would never work as we would experience it on an iPad/iPhone. Apps wouldn't work, no hardware acceleration, no Bluetooth/gps etc.

I have a nexus 10 like you and I would really like to install a dual boot with iOS in order to use some of their music app with a keyboard and microphone to make looks, iOS has really good apps for that that works really well with ik multimedia microphone and keyboard?

Already been done. Search iDroid on YouTube
