Need a build prop that is compatible to run order and chaos for the fire running CM9. Any help would be appreciated

Any time I had issue with getting an app to work. I'd buy it off my GSII or Amaze. Then back up the APK and push it to my Mytouch 4G Slide. You bought it, so there's nothing wroung with pushing it to another device. As long as its yours.
::HTC Doubleshot:: Virt. Inq v2.
I had to uninstall Hellfire CM7 and ReloadedROM CM9 because neither one allows me to install any of the "Kindle Fire Edition" games that i bought off amazon store.
In addition, most of the games don't show up in google play store either. My phone can't download them as it says not compatible either so I have no way to officially download the games that I bought.
I think we have to use MODACO ROM for now. It is the only usable ROM if you want to watch movies, use Play music and play the games for Kindle Fire without frustration. No CM7 or CM9 that I have tried can do any of this as well as MODACO.
If anyone can come up with a way for the games to work please let us know it would make those great ROMS worth using. I know the HWA will be solved soon with the new kernel, so maybe that would fix most trouble?
Idk I love the ics cm9 Roms just need to games to follow Me there.... that's what's holding me back

Here the apk http://www.mediafire.com/?iu3mpcbdzrwbdez
It doesn't work on my Fire with ICS, just shows blank pages.
Chrome needs to take advantage of the hardware acceleration features, which is not enable in ICS for Kindle yet.
thank you very much
I'm sad. I would love Chrome on my many non ICS Android devices.

How did you get the app to show up? I copied the apk to system/apps, but it doesn't show up on my KF 2nd gen. Play Store and Youtube work fine. Firefox crashes, so currently I have no browser...
Flash the AOSP jb ROM n u get chrome to work. It's working on mine flawlessly.

Well I'm thinking of rooting my kindle but I wanted to know what will happen to the books i bought on Amazon?

Nothing... If you root it and install a custom ROM like cyanogenmod then they will still be in the cloud. You amazon book/movies/MP3 files will never go anywhere.
Also, it should be noted that you can still read those books using the Kindle app. You can't use the same reader that the Fire uses as it is a modified version(it's also better than the normal app).
But just download the Kindle app, sign in, and your books should all be available there.

Ok so I was checking out Google Play because Zite was just released and found that on the website it said that the app was compatible with my Amazon Kindle Fire! Mind you I'm at work on my iPhone, so I thought that's weird. I pressed install and it said that the app would be sent to my Amazon Kindle Fire shortly! Of course I can't verify that it worked. My KF is at home. Can anyone verify that the google store works with their KF. I have the google framework but no root and the latest just released version 6.3 installed so that may be why. How cool if we could buy apps on Google Play!
the google store is working with the kf - i think since december last year
correct me someone if i'm wrong
It's been working all along but it is currently experiencing some major issues.
The Play store seems to work better for me then the old store. But in the last 24 hours it seems like its having some issues.
So how do you install an app from the play website that you've purchased without being rooted?
http://www.androidcentral.com/getting-google-play-store-errors-youre-not-alone probably just related to these problems

I have google play installed , I'm not rooted, but I'm able to download free books and songs with no problems. The moment I try to install an app or update an app it forcecloses. I should be able to use google play to its fullest if I can download books and music.........wth..

I'm currently using gederom, with just about no hitches, but was looking into the sgt7 rom. Does anyone have any experience using the two? I'm just trying to get a little compare and contrast going. Any opinions?
Thanks!
To be honest I like the sgt7 rom the best it is pretty smooth and I like the customization of sgt7 another good one to look at is the gummy rom

sgt7 is best for gaming, it gives much higher fps in 3D

Can sgt7 play most gameloft games?
I can play the same gameloft games on sgt7 and gedeROM, but most of them actually don't work on both firmwares, the only difference I noticed, is that sgt7, unlike gedeROM, shows non-working games as incompatible

The games show up in the play store in gedemis rom because he disguises the KF as a Galaxy Nexus in the build.prop.
I'm rolling with sgt7 at the moment. Just made the switch and I like what I see. The customization is pretty enjoyable, makes my kindle feel new again. Kudos to the developer
Don't know if I'm posting this in the correct forum, but I wanted to post about how well n64oid runs on kf. Not sure if you would have to be rooted, I am , but if you want to take a trip back to the n64 days, I have had great luck with it. I downloaded it from mediafire, and side loaded it, and have been getting Roms from getyourrom.com. you can download the roms straight from the kindle without haveing to use the computrr at all. super Mario 64 runs great, and is actually very playable with the touch screen controls. Hope this post will help anyone who has been looking for one.
I would reccommend:
Super Mario 64
Starfox.64
Banjo kazooie
all the classics are on getyourrom.com

I can't get any downloads to work. Do I need to register with that site in order to get ROMs?
Ok, when I try to download a ROM it will act like its downloading then it will say download complete but the ROM file is basically an empty file.
I have tried two different browsers.
Your thoughts?
I download the Roms straight from the Link Removed after you click the Rom you want, a timer will appear then when its done, click download and it will. After pull up, n64oid and click your Rom. Hope this helps.

FSM Edit - I have removed the link for the website allowing you to download emulator Roms, this contributs towards warez.
I use firefox on the kf, and no you do not have to register. I'm not a member. I have noticed you have a daily download limit as a non member but its a pretty large amount.

I get very good performance of N64oid on the Kindle, rooted of course. Using the emulator on the stock OS resulted in intermittent lag but still good. On the rooted Kindle setting the CPU governor to performance and setting max frequency to 1008MHz delivers "almost" picture perfect emulation, no audio or animation stutters. I only did that set up for test purposes as I don't like running the performance gov for very long.....especially at 1GHz.....really don't like it at 1.2!
.....when you hit the walls of sanity, you have no-where to go.....
I need the link please post it for me then remove it again please I wanna lay !y chi
shops vs!as on this Amazon fire tablet I don't recommend this tablet to anyone it restricts you from tons of other apps
