Discussion of the best battery friendly kernels to this day for pics Samsung aosp and aokp
What your thoughts?
Try them yourself
Read, search, and try them yourself. Then, post about your experience in each kernel's thread so other people who have also read and searched will be able to see it and can make up their own mind.

I'm starting this since I didn't see any other areas where its talked about.
Installed the rom, I just love AOKP, and its fc when I use the camera? It seems worse when I rotate it. Any suggestions?
It's talked about in the thread for the ROM in the Dev section.
Not everyone feels so entitled that they need to show their presence all over the forums with multiple threads about the same ROM
We have had this discussion before!
Let the team members decide where and what thread they want. I have no issues if a team member starts a Rom specific QnA thread.

There have been WAY to many threads created about JB source being released lately as well when a new build is released.
I know some of you get excited and want to "break" the news to the community and I'm sure some of you feel like it will be your chance to be in the "spotlight" for a few but 99.9% of the time the news has already made it's way around the community.
If you are thinking of creating a thread about it DON'T! Use one of the many existing threads discussing the issue. Link to a new FW? No NEED to create a thread for that, just find one of the existing FW threads and post there.
We have been closing so many threads about JB source and other silliness that has been posted time and time again.
If people continue to do this, instead of just closing the thread I am going to start to hand out official warnings/infractions for anyone who just grossly does not use search before creating a thread like the many we have been seeing the past few days. If you get too many warnings/infractions you are in jeopardy of getting banned from XDA.
For ALL Jelly Bean discussion use This Thread
Friends I have been using hirox kernel for quite a long and its giving me good battery life but its slows my device.
Is there any other good kernel available for my s2?
There's no such thing. Phone usage & setup are more important with regard to battery life than the kernel.
P.S - Questions belong in Q&A.
Mod Edit
"Best" or "Recommend" ROM/kernel threads are not allowed on XDA.
Please test these things for yourself.
This is the only way you will get an unbiased opinion, and then, you can decide for yourself if it meets YOUR needs.
Don't forget to make a nandroid before you start.

Hi All,
Looking for a bit of advice.
I am currently using CM 11 with there kernel.
I like it, but I would like to experiment with other ROMS - What are you're top rated ones?
I would also like to be able to use Chronic Kernel for fast charge capabilities - What are you're top rated Kernels?
Thanks!!
Dude. Every thread that asks this question gets closed.
There is no best rom. Try it for yourself, this is not a customer service.
