They are the same phone... mb860 =Atrix 4g

As said by the poster above me, the Atrix 4G is the same phone as the MB860. Its called "4G" only because of a marketing trick in the US, its not really 4G.

[Q] Does Atrix 4G hacks works on Atrix?

The Atrix is going to be selling in my country soon. Thing is the smartphone is the Atrix and not the Atrix 4G.
Im thinking about buying it but i need rooting to install applications outside android market and hdmi out. I wonder if the hacks for doing that on Atrix 4G will work with Atrix.
Whats the difference between 4g version and the regular version?

I dont know much, but it might be something cause the name is ME860 instead of MB860. As it might not be as popular as the Atrix 4G i wonder if the hacks for rooting this one will work with the regular one.

Force changes (Verizon)

Hey guys, recently my dad has not been happy with at&t and has decided to switch our whole family (4 people) to Verizon.. I love my Atrix but sadly it is a GSM phone and it wont work on Verizon. I will be needing a new phone on Verizon and was wondering which phone(s) would be a good transition to from the Atrix.

Droid X2 coming out next week
Do you know if it'll be any good?
Sent from my MB860 using XDA App
Looked up the specs and only 512mb ram and worse battery life than the Atrix is a deal breaker for me

They don't have a comparable phone yet.

As of right now, nothing on Verizon can match the atrix in terms of ram. If I were you I'd go with the Droid X 2, since hardware wise its a larger atrix with less ram.
What if I convinced my dad to wait until the sgs2 cane out? Do you think that'd be better?

[Q] Atrix 4G roms compatible with Atrix?

Hi, Im looking to buy an Atrix, but here in my country I can buy an "Atrix" which according to GSMarena, its exactly the same as the Atrix 4G, except for 4G speeds and its not AT&T branded.
Would the roms for Atrix 4G would work in an Atrix?
Thanks in advance

Inspire 4g and desire hd same phone ?

Hi, I'm coming from LG and not real sure I have an inspire
4g .. are the 2 phones the same like can I flash roms from either device ?
Sent from my inspire 4G using XDA
For some roms there are inspire mods. They are the same phones but inspire has lte(4g) modul and and not the same audio. It ia better to ask in the thread what you must flash

Actually the inspire does not have LTE. Calling it 4G was just a marketing ploy by AT&T. It uses hspa+.

Wanting cheap epic 4g

I have a Motorola electrify (rebadged photon) this phone is a beast but due to locked bootloader, no cm9 for me. I want ics.... also Motorola has best signal. Home it bounces back and fourth between us cellular and roaming verizon towers, us cell (1x no bars @ -119db) verizon (3g full bars @ -79db) if I got a phone with weaker signal would I stay on verizon instead of getting no service on us cell, only way to make it go back to verizon is turn off, reboot. If getting a Samsung phone fixes this, I want a Samsung epic 4g with the QWERTY keyboard, and a way I seen somewhere online where an epic was put on us cellular.... Any decent, cheap epic 4gs out there? Frank or email me [email protected]

There are Epic 4Gs at Cowboom.com for $79.99
I bought mine there grade 5 and screen was flawless and not any noticeable scratches but YMMV.
I used coupon code Cowboom5 for $5 off, dunno if still works.
(Note, I am a new user so I can't post links)
Good phone? Ics rims stable? Unlockable bootloader?
Sent from my Motorola Electrify using XDA
Haha, it was rooted before it came out. And check in Development subforum for all the ICS variations running on it with stability.

Locked bootloader? What's that? Is that some kind of new Pokemon?
Haha none of that over here friend.
Loving my cowboom photon im unlocked but for now I prefer gb roms until hw acceleration fully works. (Im a big gamer) I do miss the epic but signal quality and speed is sooo much better. I ran ics on my epic since febuary and it was surprisingly easy to go back to gb. I just miss chrome thats about it.
