i installed one of the ROM downloaded from here ...
and it brick my device ...
what should i do ? :`(

guess it came from it self couse i was nurvios )))
i entered the hard boot menu pressed the UP (volume) button and then pressed 2 time i think the up(coluve) and down(volume) then it not entered the boot option but connected the USB ...
i installed other ROM and its working fine again ... )))))
so far I have seen 1000 people on xda developers that assume to have bricked their phone...and probably 1 out of 1000 has truly done something stupid to brick his phone.

i tryed to delete the HSPL
by the video tut ... ( yeh yeh ... what can be more easier )
well ...
it says to get a stock rom ( i did it )
it say to put it on the SD after formating it to 32 bit ( i did it )
then hard boot ... ( i did it )
power button ...
and ........... puff ...

Tryed to install the HSPL again ...
the install is successfull. ... but no change on the device ...
you have used the wrong rom.
you must use the correct rom that was on the phone when you got it.
Or the correct region. In doubt, just enter your phone's serial number on the HTC download page (here for 1.66) to make sure you get the correct official rom.
Then extract it, put the nbh on your card, etc.

I have a similar problem.
I have the same screen at boot, but when I try load anything my device as stuck in progress bar (0%) even for shipped rom’s…
This happens when I try load a shipped rom from SD. Before that I have loaded several cocked rom’s from SD without problem.
the fix...
hold volume up and down together and insert the USB cable then run a different or a good ROM
Bricked friends hd2!!!?!?
PLEASE HELP... I was trying to install android throught NAND on my friends hd2,, in the process of flashing the ROM via Magdalr or whatever.. it froze so i pulled the battery.... and it doesn't turn on. I've pulled the battery on my other friends HD2 so im confused as to why this one in particular does not turn on! PLEASE HELP!!! SHE'LL KILL ME IF SHE FINDS OUT!!!

So my brother was trying to do who knows what to my hd2 and now the hd2 powers on and it says "stick together" (its a t-mobile hd2) and it just stays on that screen.. I'm not the most tech savvy person so bare with me... usually below where it says "stick together" it would show a bunch of numbers and codes and after a few seconds it would load windows mobile and the phone would work fine. However, mine just stays on the stick together and theres no more of those numbers and codes on the bottom.
Did he just brick my phone? And if he did... HOW THE HECK DO I FIX THIS???

Heh I'm in the process of doing my very first flash to get a full install of Andriod 2.2 on my HD2, once I find out a specific answer I've been looking for I'm gonna start the process

I just bricked my HD2 (USA T-Mous). I tryied update RADIO when was progress on PC 100% in PDA 96% and freezed. I just pulled battery and phone is bricked. When I connect to PC via USB, i can listen twice short plug sound and this is all. No bootloader, nothing. Any reason? Thanks
Did you try to turn on your mobile pushing "vol down" to load usb mode ?
After that, you can flash an official rom.

if the radio had 51 in the version (example 2.07.51.xx) then it is a brick, dead, gone.

hi i'm looking for a motherboard htc hd2 bricked? can you sell yours?
my HTC mega is dead, wont respond or even charge anymore. It happend after i run HARDspl. I have tried doing hard reset and soft reset but don't get any response from phone

I'm sorry to hear that. The file "check.bin" is created in the subdir called "1" on your PC after you ran flash-hardspl.bat

Remove your battery, sim and sd cards, leave the cards out, replace the battery after a while and try and boot.
P.S. Can you "undelete" the file jockyw is after?

Then I'm afraid it is a brick and at the moment there is nothing I can do for you. It's a pity you didn't keep the files for further diagnostics.
check.bin
if this file can save ur device... have you tried looking at your pc's recycle bin?

Guys, you all have good intentions to support him, but there is nothing we can do right now. No need to post your files.
My mega showed some errors when it came to reporting real battery level and would not boot at one time.
You should also try to leave it charging over the night and try again.
I have tried everything but i dont get any response from the phone.

Does the PC prompt you to install new drivers if you connect the phone to PC by USB cable. To be sure the phone is on you would need to remove and reinsert the battery and then power on.

Guys can somebody help me? I'm trying to install this ROM and when I'm at the part where it says "Waiting for USB connection..." and box pops up and says "The application has failed to start because RAPI.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix the problem." How do I install RAPI.dll? Also right now my phone is in MAGLDR v1.12 and it's stuck at the USB Flasher mode screen saying "Wait USB...". Can I just take out my battery and power on and it will boot in to the previous NAND ROM I had on my HD2?
I've put a picture up of all the files that came with the download. I don't know what I'm doing! I'm new to this stuff.

Dont worry.
Press the power button and you will go to magldr menu.
Did you run daf.exe with right click and run as administrator?
If you did and it stil wont install, try unpacking the file you downloade again.
Did you connect the usb cable to the phone, before runing daf.exe?

I tried the power button and it wouldn't go back.
Luckily, I used a different computer and it's installing as we speak. Pheeeewwww!
I didn't even have a .daf file. Only the ones I included in the post above.
If there's any problems, I'll get back on here.
Were you by chance using WinXP on the original PC? Many versions seem to need drivers installed for it to work, while it generally works without such on Vista & Win7.
RAPI.dll (Remote API) is included with ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center. I guess the original machine didn't have the relevant one of them installed, or it did and for some reason RAPI.dll was missing/knackered. (This is just for future reference if anyone comes across this thread looking for possible answers.)

And when you start installer.exe - run as administrator - it stays on "waiting usb connection?
Check if active sync has "allow usb connections" dissabled! This is if you are on XP.
If this doesn't work, try another build and see what happens.

I appreciate all your help. But, I think my phone has froze in MAGLDR. Can I just take out the battery and reboot? Or will I have to reset the phone (red button) and flash my phone all over again?

Just a quick thing.... it's installing on MAGLDR, the ROM I had before had Partitions for DATA2SD, this one doesn't so I formatted it with one singled FAT32 partition. Now on MAGLDR it says, PARTITION LAYOUT NEW
Do you want to reserve date? Do I save it, clear it or abondon flashing?
I clicked to save it. Hopefully I didn't do the wrong thing.

By saving the old data you might get errors - Force Close applications - later on when the Android system loads.
If mistakes happen you will have to format the card again - properly - and reflash clean.
What build are you flashing?

Will do. The ROM I was flashing was a clean gingerbread, now I'm using FutureShock MIUI. Recommend it!
Btw, do you install WP7 the same way as you do an Android ROM? Or is it a whole different process?

It's the same, there is a whole thread about WP7. It should be easy, just remember that WP7 formats your card with it's own partition and then if you want to go back to Android you have to reformat gain.

I have rooted, flashed, modded, and repaired dozens of android native phones...
this one was quite different.. However.. i was able to successfully run Android 2.3 on one of my friends HD2's,, and another one is giving me HELL and back..
I had what i thought was stable Android 2.3 ROM after flashing DESIRE HD ROM through Clockwork.. I've been testing ROM's on this phone for a few days.. and today i decided to try to turn on the phone.. every time i turn it on... (tried hard reset),, i get to aMAGDLR V1.11 screen that is BLANK!!! ALL BLACK!!!
I do not know how to actually get the phone to turn on from this point. It is a tmous hd2 and i did flash a ".50" spl and whatnot... but today, this morning.. it decides to act up and i don't know what to do! any one have any ideas?

I don't even know what does that mean I didnt do anything to a root or flashed it or something like that. I just formated sd card from another mobile phone, becouse I didnt know that Click has os on it's sd card.

The problem is that my computer doesn't detect phone as usb when i plug it in. RUU gives me a error: usb is not connected

That may be becouse my Click doesn't even start- it shuts down at tattoo screen.
But if I plug it in computer and I go to devices in controll panel i can see it as unspecified device with name android.

Hello folks.
Yesterday I played some games on my phone and after about 1 hour the phone just blocked . Didn't know what to do , nothing worked so I've unpluged the battery.
After that I've tryied to open it but there was something strange. There was a white screen , and just this...
I've tryied some things and now , when I open my phone it goes to bootloader ( that thing with red,green,blue and white ) , It doesn't even boot...
Sorry for my english , hope you can help me to fix it or just to tell me if it's brick or not ...
Did you try to open the device? Why?
If you phone go in bootloader check the Volume Down button, probably is blocked. Sometime happen the 2 buttons of the volume go out of they position and is tricky to put it back again. If the buttons do not do click when you push it that mean they are stuck, maybe just one of them.
I can be absolutely sure there is not any button stucked.

Somehow the phone boot in bootloader. The only way to do that is pushing the volume down. To me seems like hardware and not software problem.
I just don't understand, did you opened the Phone? and if yes for what reason?
My bad , didn't opened it , just powered on ( pressed the red button ).

Are you an Android? If yes then you should boot into MAGLDR, reboot you phone and keep pressing power button. What happen?

So first of all my phone blocked while playing a game. After that i've removed the battery , wait 2 seconds , put it back and power on the phone . After that it should show me android loading , but it didn't . There was just a white screen, I could do nothing .
Cause of this i've tryied the Task29 and yes I've tryied it from bootloader . But the problem is, at 100% my pc restart everytime and on pc it says "ERROR [270] 'The image file is corrupted'."

I think probably the HD2 is completely dead but I don't understand why the hell your PC is restarting and get you an error. Do you have some kind of virus? Try close Firewall and Antivirus and perform Task29 again. If this will not work from bootloader try to install directly MAGLRD 1.13.07, maybe the MAGLRD will install because you have some problem with Task29. If both of this application give you the same error this is maybe related to your PC. I never saw this problem like on another thread with Security Unlocked. Let me know what happen.
Again my bad , my phone restarts, not pc. Can you give me any ID so maybe you can help me with team viewer?

Even if I connect to your PC via Team this will not help because I don't have the phone in my hands. Ok, then is your phone to give you an error and reboots, try to install from Bootlader the MAGLRD and tell me what happen.

I don't know buy I think something wrong there, or your phone just died and there is no way to let it work or is your PC, there is no other issues.

Start from first step by installing HSPL4 2.08 by Cotulla.
Check also for Virus or Antivirus which will compromise the installation or the files.
It goes to 100% and then restart my phone . I'll use another PC tomorrow so let's hope it will work just fine.

Were you playing/doing something heavy? Was the phone (very) hot when it froze? No longer boots?
Typical symptoms of infamous overheating problem, sorry for the bad news. Try following this post and report back : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=23638873&postcount=3

You are right, this can be the reason why he can't boot anymore. If so will be very difficult time to revive the HD2 even if the solution are there.
