Hi
My HTC HD2 is currently running Android 2.2 NAND " Clean Desire " ROM.
I had to use MAGLD 1.11 and HSPL_3 to get Android 2.2 on to my HD2 as it is an Australian Leo T9193 - both files are still on my phone.
I want put / revert to a an official clean / stock HTC / Telstra T9193 WinMo ROM.
I have already downloaded the official HTC Telstra ROM and am ready to go.
I know how to load differnet Androind builds, but have no idea how to go back to a stock WinMo ROM
Question.
Can someone please point me to a guide / or explain the steps / what I need to do to go from a HTC HD2 currenlty running an Androind 2.2 NAND back to a HTC HD2 running WinMo 6.5 ?
Much apreciated.
Ben
Read this fully.
Flash CustomRUU ROM
You should flash CustomRUU ROM ( without SPL version if possible )
You may go with any custom / modified ROM, and copy & flash from microSD ( < 4GB )...
This will help you out...
Let us know when you are back to WM 6.5 ........

into bootloader, flash telstra rom over usb.
that should do it.
If you want to remove hspl too, run hspl3 first and choose 2.08.0000 OR flash the telstra rom from sd card.
hi htc hd2 users...i love my hd2..first the stock rom was installed in it..i felt some few bugs in stock rom n i tried energy rom after seeing good reviews for it..once i installed energy rom..i found having hanging issues or freezing issues..well i didnt know whats the reason for it...so again i formatted or uninstalled energy rom n installed the ols stock rom itself...now again i found another one rom named as cleanEX RV Ultra 1.01 ..its great n its compatible with my hd2 version...n i am running on it only..today i saw a tmobile updated official rom of 3.14 n i am plannin to install it..but i am scared what ll happen if frequently changing the rom...whether it ll affect my hd2 or cause any damage etc etc
thanks for the reply..
phone-T-mobile htc hd2
Os version-21913
Rom version- cleanEX RV Ultra 1.01
Radio version-2.08.50.08_2
nothing will happen
Just remember to run task29 before you flash your new rom
I have my device now for about 15 mounts, and in the meal wile I have install more than 70 Rom's on it without any problems.
The most important is not how much Rom versions you will install but eater if you would do it correctly.
Why don't you put HSPL3 2.08HSPL and MAGLDR1.13 on it so you can have Android on NAND, Windows Phone 7, hah? . . . now we're talking
Like kurt-willems, my HD2 is like 15 months old, I´m a flashaholic since other devices in the past. I think I flashed roughly 50 custom ROMs (plus some stock ROM flashes before task29 was possible with stand-alone apps).
It is being said that the memory chip technology which stores the OS ROM can be at least re-written 1000 times. I don´t think I will still use the HD2 in 20 years.
Maybe, I´ll keep it as a souvenir as one of the greatest smartphones in the early 2000´s. And at least 1 ROM of each OS on an SD... just for fun, hehe...
I couldn't really remembered how many ROM flashing i've had done since my Dopod 838 Pro, TyTN II, Touch Pro, Touch Pro2, Snap and now HD2, nothings bad happened. So the point is, it's safe as long as You do by the rule Sir. Go a head, You can do more than just that, Cheers

Bro, your avatar is the same with the signature of Bro Tictac (above your post )
I have been flashing my HD2 for 13 months and I tried almost all wwe roms available in XDA and HTC Pedia. But I think it still below 1000 times.
And when it reaches 1000 times and something happen with my HD2, I will not regret it because HD2 is the best phone ever made by HTC
Cheers....
PS. Win, sudah berhasil dual boot nya?

Since you are running a custom ROM, then you alread have HSPL running. I would go into BootLoader Mode to confirm that the SPL is 2.08.HSPL
Your RADIO is fine (although there are a few updated verions 2.12.50 and the 2.15.50 are the more popular).
Once all that is done then you are able to go into the Android NAND ROM Flashing.

You have to change RADIO by your own.
See this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=611787
Hi I hav an Htc hd2 with the original rom 3.14.407.2
I want to have Windows mobile 7 on it and so I must do Hspl on it.
And my Question is if everyone know how to put Hspl on 3.14.407.2
For the future, I would recommend to use the search function of the forum. Even google brings you quite a few good results...
Anyway, to get HSPL onto your phone, you must downgrade first: Get an older stock ROM for your device, most probably an unbranded German, I assume.
You can find the older ROMs on HTC´s support site, or in forums.
Once you´ve flashed the older ROM, you´re ready to flash HSPL 2.08 and the needed Radio ROM 2.15.50.04, MAGLDR, and finally a WP7 NAND ROM.
howdy all, im new to the forum havent really had a chance to have much of a browse yet.
have had my hd2 for a while now and tbh im no overly impressed with it, whether or not that's just me not being able to get to grips with it im unsure of, but it always seems to be glitching, takes a while to do anything locks up quite a lot many problems.
just wondering is there anyway of making the whole thing run more smoothly?
any help would be greatly appreciated, and bare with me as im so out of touch with phones nowadays.
Well I assume you are still using the stock Windows Mobile ROM. Do this go to Settings>About Phone>Software Information and tell us what ROM and radio you have right now as I bet you are not on the most recent ROM as the older Windows Mobile ROMs were unstable.
it says im running
rom version 1.43.110.2 (70315) wwe
radio version 2.04.50.22_2

T-Macgnolia was right your HD2 is running stock from way back from launch day...
The latest radio is 2.15.50 while the latest stock rom is somewhere in the 3.0 range
If you want to stick with stock try flashing the latest T-mobile / HTC update... make sure you backup anything and everything because you never know what might happen.
Yeah you are running a much older ROM. I can also tell from that ROM version you are using a EU HD2. Go to HTC.com and looks for ROM upgrades and then enter your serial number that is behind the battery and see what the latest ROM version for your HD2. If it says you can use a 3.14 ROM download it and flash it to your HD2. They should have some instructions on the HTC site telling you how to do this. It is simple really come post back here if you have questions. Also you can flash a custom ROM from here on on XDA, you can run Android from your SD card if you want while still having Windows Mobile on your HD2, you can flash Android to your HD2 doing away with Windows Mobile (I run Android right now), and you can flash Windows Phone 7 to your HD2 of you want. But try out a better stock ROM first as it will give you some experience flashing a ROM. Take a look a my guide in my signature as it will teach you some about what I just mentioned, and AI have links to guides on how to install Android or Windows Phone 7.
Hello,
several day ago I got the HD2 (used) from my friend. It looks like this HD2 has orriginal (German) winMo rom isntalled.
When tried to flash Android by regular way - got an error. It looks like this HD2 has some kind of lock os something like that.
It has SPL 3.03.0000 installed.
Some one can halp me with this issue? How can I install the HSPL 2 on it?
Hi,
If you want to install any custom Android and Windows Phone ROMs you must install HSPL. There is lot of information available through lot of threads in the forum for HTC Leo.
The below is combined toolkit to install HSPL,MAGLDR and CLK with recovery as well.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1090783
Sent from my NexusHD2 using xda app-developers app
Look for HSPL4, use it to install HSPL 2.08.
EDIT: or just use the toolkit as SRI suggested .
