Kindle fire sleep of death after root - Kindle Fire General

I used the kfu to root 6.3 and followed all the instructions perfectly. The command prompt told me the root was successful and I caught the kindle screen out of the corner of my eye and it looked like it was loading into twrp but it shut off and won't turn on. I've tried hard resetting and nothing. My comp won't recognize the kindle plugged in and have no idea what to do. Srry if this has been asked before but I think i might be in trouble and need help asap. Thanx

Kindle Fire Bricked

Ok, so i wanted to install Cynogen Mod 7 on my perfect kindle fire. So i followed the directions on http://liliputing.com/2011/12/how-to-install-cyanogenmod-7-on-the-amazon-kindle-fire.html. Everything was going fine, i downloaded and opened The Kindle Fire Utility and used the permanent root option. It rooted and everything went fine. Then i went to the TWRP Recovery, it installed and then went into fastboot. It took a little while for me to realize that it wasn't going anywhere. I started following other guides to unbrick my kindle fire but all my efforts was in vain. I got desperate and uninstalled the drivers, the kfu and windows 32 bit computer won't recognize my kindle and i just want this horrible nightmare to end. Can someone please help me here.
You are currently being assisted in another thread. After an attitude you posted another. The other thread was not yours, so understandable, but please be more patient.
Reinstall the drivers using the .bat file. Try to restart the kindle again. 90% of the time these are driver issues. If that does not work, try the fastboot commands in the other thread and restarting the kindle again. The Cd "your directory" is typed in then press enter. Each line is a new command so hit enter between each.

[Q] Is my kindle bricked?

So, I rooted my device, and I flashed CM7, and everything worked fine.
after running for awhile my device just went black. So when after about 15 mins, it went to the Fire triangle logo and is now stuck in this logo.
I searched and found problems like this but when I plug in my device, my computer wont recognize it...
so am i screwed? - Again, I've searched and tried many of the steps advised...
What did you use to obtain root? Do you have the KF Utilities downloaded and on your computer?
If not, here is a link: (Vashypooh gets ALL the credit)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1399889
Mine got stuck on the triangle as well and I thought I was screwed, but more than likely you're just stuck in fastboot.
What I did was use the KFU and even though it didn't show as recognized I was able to use Option 1 - Bootmode Menu, Then Option 1 - Normal.
My Fire restarted normally after that.
Don't know if it will fix it for you, but it's worth a shot huh?
Thank you sir. After reading that I got to reboot correctly by turning it off plugging it in, and turning it off and on three times and tried the unbrick utility again and it went through. Thank you.
Glad you got it to work. Now you can get on to the fun parts.
Also for some people this might work. I unbricked my kindle. Here is how I did it
1.Download kindle fire utility
2.Unzip kindle fire utility
3.To install the driver, its easy, just plug in your kindle, when it pops up with the install wizard say pick from the location of: KindleFireUtility>drivers>kindle 4.run kindle fire utility, select 1 then select 1 again
That's it, hope it helps someone like me

[Q] [HELP] Kindle Fire dead display

Hi, i got my kindle fire 3 days ago. The first day I installed ice cream sandwich, the March 19th ICS CM9 Kang ROM, everything was running excellent and smooth. Last night, before going to sleep I plugged it. This morning i press the power button and it wakes up, but after 2 minutes of use the screen started to flash in gray tones, I though it had crashed and reboot it(press the power button for 25 secs), after I turn it back on it shows the FIREFIREFIRE triangle for 1 sec and started to flash this awful gray screen. And after that it didn't show any image, the back light turns on but it doesn't show nothing.
I know its booting into ICS because I still get the email alert sound.
I'm thinking on returning it as i bought it at a local walmart. I'm just concern about the fact its flashed to ICS. I know the way on how to take it back to stock, the thing is i just can't see anything on the screen and I'm not sure if the touch sensors still work.
Also when i plug it to the pc and run the KFU it show the status as offline and the power button turn orange.
I really don't know what to do right now, i guess it's just bad luck for getting a defective one. Any tip, advice or suggestion will be appreciated.
Is adb working? Use adb or fastboot to install the stock room

OK, plug kindle into computer, go to cmd, change directory to android-sdk/platform-tools, type:
Code:
adb
adb remount
adb devices
then your kindle serial should popup in cmd... report back and I can help.

I did that but when i type remount it says "error: device not found" and on adb devices it doesn't show any device. :/ Is the any other possibility?
PD: The touch screen is working, and I wanna try to do the stock restoration through the kindle. Right now i'm able to unlock to the main screen. I just need to mount the usb storage to copy the official update in the kindle's sd card root and then try to restore using TWRP it being blind wow. Any other ideas?
PD: How can i check if the drivers are working properly?

DON'T LET YOUR BATTERY DIE
You are stuck in fastboot mode. Easy to fix...just follow the instructions. Letting your battery die will cause more problems than you want to deal with.
[Edit:] By "follow the instructions" I mean the ones posted here:

[Edit:] Nevermind
Go to your PC and go to control panel>system>device manager (I'm not near a computer but I'm pretty sure that's right) and look for anything that says kindle or android and uninstall it. Then install the driver package that was included with kfu. You may need to reboot your PC for it to worl

Stuck in Fastboot? Here's what mine required to finish root.

I installed the drivers and connect and got KFU to report online and status of 4000, I chose to root and it rebooted the Fire and then got stuck on the White Orange Fire logo and the computer did not see it again.
What I ended up having to do is run the driver installer again! While the fire was in fastboot mode and KFU was still waiting on device and the root install proceeded normally.
No where i have seen has this been said so i figured id give a heads up if it will help someone else out if yours gets stuck on unknown.
This happened on two separate Fire's on two different systems and wasn't required by a third.
I had the same issue when I rooted my kindle. I waited awhile to see if i was just being impatient, then restarted, waited some more etc. plugging it in and running kfu again did the trick. I rooted the thing the day I got it so I wasn't sure what the deal was but it was an easy fix.
On a related note the kindle forums have more 'help I'm bricked!!!' Threads than any other device I follow. I am not sure why b/c it also has some of the most helpful and thorough guides I have ever read.

when the dos screen shows waiting for device, do not unplug the cable and do not turn the dos screen, you should hold the power button to turn off, and then pressthe button again, when the pc ask for driver again you can install the old one... voila, it's ok
