Changelist slightly higher than JW4. Will be interesting to see if there are any observable differences.

There is visible difference, ics-like lockscreen is in my language instead of English
and also as JW4 to fix dbdata u need to flash this
https://hotfile.com/dl/152013147/b5b8d95/dbdata.tar.html as PDA

Thanks
It seems like we'll have to wait for Samsung to finish to distribute his Value Pack to know wich is the more up to date ...

root? cf-root for jw4 or how?

This firmware is branded by vodafone and it is not made by samsung isn't it...?
it doesn't exist on samobile.com...

is that for ICS theme?

Jw4 is new anounced[/I

screen sensitivity is better on this one than jw4.
with other launchers (like go launcher). this rom is perfect, battery use is fantastic

Is this working in Germany, too?

Language on lockscreen is fixed.
Still stupid "charging" message when battery is below 20% though.

Does anyone tried mods from xxjw4 to this rom .Are they working or giving bootloops?

Also an contribution on jw5. Splitted modem csc and pda and included latest XEN (Dutch CSC) and JW4 modem.
Not coming from stock rom (e.g. CM) ? use PDA_JW5_dbdata.tar, 512.pit and choose repartition in odin. CFROOT JW4 can be used to root this rom.

I9100XWLP4 will be very similar to Polish I9100XXLPS, because there is only one day difference in bulit date:
I9100XWLP4 - 26-03-2012
I9100XXLPS - 25-03-2012
I9100XWLP4 is also avaliable in OPS = Australia (Optus)

AP: I9300XXALEF - same as OP on Stock FW
CP: I9300DXLE8
CSC: I9300XAALEF
Question: How do i get same combinations on my AP,CP, and CSC?
Just wanted to find the same as i have... this has been so confusing for me lol!!
I already backed up my original fw using CWM(as i have my stock rom and root but planning on flashing a custom rom later) on my phone but just wanted a separate file on my computer.
Flash firmware.
Flash modem.
Flash CSC.
With matching numbers.

I remember when the previous ICS was out, there was 1 main thread that was updated to mention which Regions were getting ICS. It would be great if this was up again!

I installed this ROM and changed the CSC on my phone before realizing that doing so would do a factory reset. I became instantly afraid that I would become the victim of the EMMC brick bug (again). But I am happy to report the phone booted up just fine

A build date is a build date. LPT is 10 days or so newer.

I know but XX and XW are not from the same branch so newer don't mean better

So, if I build my 2009 project today, it makes it any newer?

does it have the superbrik bug?
I tried flashing this ROM and LPT, very weird error. After flashing and wiping, everything looked good, but I was not able to get data working on the modem. Wifi worked fine, but no mobile data! Any thoughts?
@ghawkins Sure, check to ensure that your APN settings are entered correctly in the Network options.

Reset flash counter, unrooot, flash Indian Sammy firmware via ODIN, factory reset and then try OTA.
download INU or INS better and what their difference ??

Dunno what the difference is, but both appear to be the same...*shrug*
Go with INU, that's what I download, if I want to flash a stock ROM.
Why do you guys want to flash this ROM? The Hong Kong/Taiwan ROM has a higher changelist and build date. This one is older.

INU is unbranded Indian Rom
INS is branded one
But in India there is no network bonding, so you can use any..
