I'm running Steel Droid 10 and wondering if anyone made a battery mod that decreases in 1% steps rather than 10% jumps.

Works on milestone CM
1% battery steps already works on the Milestone (the GSM variant of the droid) on all 3 CM versions (CM6,7,9). I'm surprised that it's not there in droid...

Currently have a droid incredible and have flashed every possible rom, radio combo. Im a heavy user so battery life has always been an issue although improved with a rom known as mcsenseless, im still longing for better battery life. How does the X stand up in the battery dept.?
The Droid X can get up to twenty hours, although it's uncommon.
I average twelve to fifteen hours with moderate usage.

And thats wih the regular battery? Im using a seidio 3500 and get anywhere from 6-8 hours of actual usage.
*with moderate usage and a good custom rom maybe. I can get over twelve hours with cm7 and CPU profiles and moterate usage.

On an additional note, I believe that stock based roms get better battery life than 2ndInit roms such as MIUI and CyanogenMod.
I'm currently using CyanogenMod 7 GB

Stick with the HTC incredible Motorola doesn't have enough developer support as HTC ..also have you tried mikg ROM for incredible

Im aware of the support, flashed just about every rom out there. But if the droid x does well with battery and cell reception. I may need to jump over. I found a good combination to better the battery life but like I said still wanting more
Thinking of x2 now with hope of unlocked bootloader.

At this point I would go with a Bionic.

Not paying full price for the bionic and im not eligble for an upgrade until november of 2012.
I got myself a droid x and I am not happy. it's got a lot of cool features, but wifi has been super flakey, both when connecting to the AP, and when acting as a hotspot. I used to have a samsung vibrant, which might not have been the best of breed, but at least wifi worked fine. With this pos, I can never tell if wifi is working or not. Tried to use it as a hotspot - had to reboot twice during 30 minutes of use. If I was looking for a phone now - I'd rather take samsung fascinate
Depending on settings and usage, as well as what tweaks you're using, the Droid X can last anywhere from 3 hours(Angry Birds marathon play) to 2 or 3 days(keeping your pocket company) on its stock battery. However, I don't recommend getting it, as there are a number of connectivity flaws(wi-fi, hotspot, and dropping from 3G almost every day on stock) that make the phone a hassle. True, it scores better in benchmarks than the Droid Inc, but waiting for now is probably best. After all, new phones with better processors will soon be coming around and that exta power will be worth waiting for.
You can get the droidX and snag this sexy beast of a script here for it...

Sent from my Droid Charge 4G running Gummy Charged 2.0
So I have the Atrix 4G and I am running AOKP_Milestone_6_Atrix_TMT_2 on it. I also have a Droid X stock (just use it to play pandora over wifi).
So my question is this, when I use a battery on my Atrix it drains pretty quick in a matter of a few hours (3-4) im down to 50%% however when I put this same battery into the Droid X it says 80%. So whats going on? What should do?
Its the same battery I just wanted to see what it would do on the Droid X so thats why I put it in there. So it went from 50% on the Atrix to 80% on the Droid X. Suggestions?
I am now using mujeni's ics 4.0.4 on my htc hd mini (latest update). Everything works fine except the battery percentage keeps on fluctuating and it will not charge until 100%. It was 92% and after i used it for 5 minutes, it goes 62%, 22%, and rose again until 32%. Sorry for a noob question, but may i know what is the problem? Thanks in advance.
I've had my nexus pretty much since launch and have been rooted since day one. The problem I've been coming across is that my battery drops from 85%-83% and 70-68% and a few more (probably about 3 more "couples") as the duration of the battery goes on.
I ran a variety of roms on 4.1.X such as AOKP, paranoid android, and kaos droid. I also used a few different kernels such as faux and motely.
The battery problem has been happening for a while. I just flashed the latest version of AOKP with the stock kernel(4.2.1 mr1 build 2) and thought the battery problem might go away. It didn't.
And when the battery drops, I wouldn't say the battery percent stalls on the percentage before it drops. Meaning it's just a normal drop, if that makes since. lol.
This problem has proven to be annoying and I lose probably about 10% each battery cycle. Is there anything I can do?

I'm just wondering because the biggest complaint with 10, 10.1 and now 10.2 seems to have been battery life. In fact that tends to be the case for almost all of the custom ROMs with few exceptions. (uXylon has great battery life for a non-stock custom ROM, for instance).
So what likelihood is there to expect very much improved battery life on CM 10.2? Any thoughts?
BTW - this isn't a gripe on the devs' work, I really want to know what is reasonable to expect.

battery life is what you make of it - power users are going to need to a recharge during the day while casual users should be able to get through the day just fine.
in my experience, for the most part, battery life has been fairly consistent. I can go a full day (6am-11pm) on a single charge so long as I keep my on-screen time under 3 hours. this is very acceptable to me. there is no need for me to go 24 hours given that I sleep for at least 7 of them (thus, I'll charge it then)
Yeah, that's how I have seen it as well. It's all relative to how you use your phone and what your expectations are. But you know we constantly see post from guys who aren't content with battery life no matter what it is. That's why I was looking for some feedback on what is usual, customary and reasonable.

I find the battery life to be quite good. Gets me through the day and then some.
That's coming from an Xperia Play, and I've never used stock for more than a few hours.

Good to see another fellow R800x user adopt an XT907 (I've counted 5 so far)
Still waiting on official ICS...
I think this is a great question to ask. While some are content with battery life, others are not. For example, there is no way I could continue to use Liquid rom and expect any sort of reasonable battery life with how I use my phone. As much as I loved the rom itself, it simply wouldn't last long enough between charges. With AOKP I normally charge my phone in the evening (then unplug it.. Never leaving it charged overnight), and once in the afternoon and I'm good. I'm on it constantly and one charge a day with my normal usage never did it for me.. Even on stock. For some reason some roms just seem to handle battery life far better than others no matter what I am doing on my end to conserve battery power (Screen brightness, Greenify, etc). Over the weekend I was able to get 19 hours out of it with far less usage than normally since we were out enjoying the day at a winery. To me, the battery life I get with AOKP seems better or equal to what it was before unlocking the bootloader.

as a power user im on my phone CONSTANTLY playing games and tethering and whatnot. i have to say i have found CM 10.1 roms to be quite generous on battery so far. i throw my CPU up to 1500 min/max when i plan to play COD: BOZ or Dead Trigger and ill get quite a few hours out of it off the charger before i get warned about it dying.
AOKP and Slim based ROMs have had pretty good battery life for me. When I was running CM10, it was nearly identical to stock battery life, but CM10 is 4.1.2 based. If an OEM 4.2.2 based ROM is released, they'll be able to sync it against 4.2.2 AOSP and make things work well (atleast, that's how I picture it in my head). With that being said, I am running Illusion, with Arrghh's kernel and XBreeder, and I'm sitting at about 12% battery, 36 hrs of up time, and 2.5hrs of screen on time. This is about as good as what I would see when I was running tweaked stock.
Battery life is also dependent on how long you've had your current OS running (in my experience, anyway). A lot of us around here are crackflashers and we never let a ROM settle in. I was getting average battery use on Ilusion, but it's gotten better in the last few days.
I got a new battery off amazon and been getting great battery life again. I think i borked my old one.
AOKP almost always lasts me through the day unless I go over 3 hours of screen time
