Hi all,
I've HD2 with android 2.3.6 (Nexus HD2 Gingerbread V 3.1 a Nand).
Now I want to update to android 4.
It's possible to do this and how i can process ?
Thanks all
Download one of the ICS Roms (Tytung's or MIUI based).
Back up your apps n data through titanium backup
Repartition the device if necessary through HD2 NAND tool kit
Flash the ROM through clock work mod.
Swyped from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
Ok thanks !
After more search, what you thinks about NexusHD2-ICS-CM9 or NexusHD2-IceCreamSandwich
Good, bad ...
or if you have Magldr, you can put a few ICS on SD to try them all out

Use a Backup app (like Titanium Backup) backup all your data, apps then flash new ROM.
After that restore alls.
Hi guys, i have a question. What is the best rom for htc hd2 in this moment? I have 4.1.1 aosp and before i had ics 4.0.4 leoking 2.3.6.
This rom is quite slow but i want a rom Jelly Bean. What is the most stable rom at the moment? I tried to install the nexushd2 but when i turn on the phone, htc logo appears but then you see that the screen is on but nothing appears. I have installed for twice but nothing. I tried to install it with "NAND with DataOnEXT" because my phone is Italian. I have a FAT32 partition of 13GB and a EXT4 partition of 1.5GB but nothing ... Thanks to all..
Damy
EDIT: With the NexusHd2, here is a process that asks you to choose between the rmnet connection and the ppp connection... What is better? i have magrld
IMO, this is the best ROM as of now. Enjoy
PACman HD2 by xylo..........nand/native sd
or look thru here http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=980
Waht is best for you is not the best for others, so this thread will be redundant with many opinions. My advice is that you test a few ones an make your own decision.
On that note, thread closed.
I have a HTC HD2 with:
spl-2.08.
android: 2.3.5
HTC Sense 3.5
Kernel: [email protected]#62
Magldr V1.13
free internal memory 50mb
Should i upgrade? If so what should I upgrade?
do whatever you want. you're not a number, you're a FREE MAN. you can always go back if your new rom doesn't suit you well.
AW: [Q] should I Upgrade?
Are you missing some features or why do think about an upgrade?
Sent from my HD2 MIUI JB
I think my hd2 is getting low internal memory and a bit slow on the internet.
AW: [Q] should I Upgrade?
Try a Native SD ROM if your HD2 is running out of NAND(internal) memory.

more memory
HTC Sense ROMs consume a lot of RAM, I suggest a CM 7. You 'll have 200+ of free RAM.
Help is needed

nexus 4.3 aren't too bad either, although the difference between 4.2.2 and 4.3 nearly doesn't exist... If you care about the data usage indicator just stick with the 4.2.2 nexus mentioned
