Did anyone get 'Sony xloud' to work on ZTE Blade??
Whenever I try to flash it, it gives me an error and aborts the installation...
beats audio worked for me, but xloud doesn't...
Any suggestion to make it work would be appreciated...
One more thing...What's the difference in between 'xloud' and 'beats audio'?
Same problem. If I had the permissions I would do it manually by unzipping the archive and putting the files using root explorer. But i don't know what permissions to set. Beats audio is by Dr. Dre and Xloud is the driver of Sony erricson mobiles. Both provide audio boost, however beats is more popular

All permissions must be set to 755 or each file should be rw-r--r--
Basically the permission box in root explorer should look like this:
'''''''''''''''''''''Read''''''Write''''''''Execute
Owner '''''''Tick''''''''Tick'''''''''No Tick
Group ''''''''Tick''''''No Tick''''No Tick
Others ''''''''Tick'''''''No Tick'''''''No Tick
Hope it helps! I got xLoud working but I don't think its great IMHO.
Thanks. I'll make a flashable zip
And try with a headset. You'll notice a difference
Edit : how do I set permissions in a flashable zip

I tried Sending a .apk file to my dell xc35 via bluetooth but it says "remote device rejected your request". But i can share songs and pics. What is the problem? Is there a solution to this?
Install "Bluetooth file transfer" on blade and then it accepts any file.

Just rename it on mp3 or png ^^

Bluetooth connections only exchange data. So apks working on one will still get sent to the other as its only a file. Whether the other is able to open it or not is a different case. Try pairing first and then send.

Ofcourse it was paired. Nothing worked though.
Just rename the file wirh. Mp3 or. Png, i have solved this prob like this when i was not able to transfert zip and apk

@OP. If you don't have Root explorer or don't want to purchase it,try Explorer from SpeedSoftware. Its just a free version without root access.

or you can put it in a zip file and send it, or reboot your phone
try to use BTF from Medieval Software, it's free

I might be able to send files by root explorer but what about recieving?
try the above app I wrote.
you can download Bluetooth file transfer from google play
Maybe you need to tick the box under applications in settings that says 'unknown sources' to allow you to receive apps from sources other than the market, that may be what's causing the issue with the .apk transfer. Give that a shot!
Hey!
I can't stand the keyboard with the stock ROM so would like to replace it with the Xperia one from my Xperia P (ICS) which I think is almost perfect.
So I copied the (textinput-tng) apk from my phone over to the N7 and installed it, and all looks well; can configure the keyboard, etc.
Problem is, every time the keyboard tries to start up, it FC's
Does anyone know of any hack that'll get the keyboard working, or is it some unreconcilable differences between ICS and JB (or maybe some Sony propriety code)?
Cheers!
n.b. N7 is unlocked, rooted, on stock ROM with Clemsyn's elite kernel.

Is there a way to choose/make/browse themes [FULL] only for incoming call screens? Especially for Samsung Galaxy Y, the stock answering call is really bad.
Is it possible to download / theme the incoming call screen via Metamorph? And where to find such themes for Samsung Galaxy Y?
I already know about some third-party apps on Play store such as Ultimate Call Screen HD, but they don't do what I need.
p.s. I'm NOT looking either for ROMs with different incoming call screens (I'm here for a simple way to theme the incoming call screens for android)

there are many xml files and png images, I'm looking for the images that targets "specifically" the incoming call screen items such as the background, frames, sliders. What are the png/xml file names to tweak those specific things

I downloaded several Phone.apk(s) from the net, but every time I try to install one it asks me that "this is a system app, do you want to replace" and say yes but then it says (Application not installed)
What could be wrong? and how to fix it?

Yes I agree with koradiavatsal, u should flash through cwm, or try this, copy the file (Phone.apk) to /system n set permission to rw-r--r-- n then move n replace it to /system/app, then reboot. If this not succesfull the one way is flash it through cwm

Before I continue to to the replacement inside the system/app directory...
Is it ok to replace even if the Phone.apk is made for ICS or JB? I of course use GB.
I installed all apk found under system/framework with apktool.
*framework-res.apk & another apk
Then decompiled Settings.apk of Xperia pro stock ics Rom.
After that ,without making any change I compiled the apk. Then I surprisingly noticed that the size compiled apk is 1/3 of original stock settings.apk .
Then I flashed the apk using cwm to my phone to test if it work .after flashing, the setting icon is invisible in launcher menu !
Plz anybody tech me how decompile and re compile stock settings.apk of Xperia pro properly..
