you are forgiven... but only this time
Anyway, here's a link for official gingerbread beta 1 with usb access in pink mode (that means no need to root it to install Clockwork mod, just remove sdcard, enter pink mode, and copy the recovery.img to the image folder).
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/r8dyrvojy4is1iu/f1elHmpIDH/Stock 2.3.5 BETA 1 - Unlocked Bootloader.zip
I recommend that over any other stock gingerbread (if you gonna install aurora or any other custom rom based in .35 kernel)

Did you copy the bootloader on your current ROM, without following the guide you posted yourself ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=22682229#post22682229 )?

OK I have stock Nexus one with FRG83D, I downloaded Gingerbread from here at XDA, I tried to install it but it failed, I found a link on how some people were having issues and it took me to a link where I had to back track to FRG33 then FRG83 the to FRG83D where I am at now, did all that everything worked great but now I still get the same error when trying to install Gingerbread, any suggestions ?
thank you
You need to be on FRG83G. Apply this update then try GB again.
That did the trick installing as I type this, thank you very much.
Do you have the last version of HBOOT (hboot-0.35.0017)?
If not, download it from:
http://android.clients.google.com/packages/ota/passion/d6096cac5e9f.signed-hboot-0.35.0017.zip
install it as a rom (remember to rename it to "update.zip") and then install 2.3.3.
Enjoy!

FYI, this was a question. It should have been posted in the Q & A section. I can't believe how many people don't read rules.

Although I have already post this here, this thread is useful for those who didn't notice the new version of CodeROM. Btw, why don't you notice Marciin88 instead of creating a new thread?
Difference between v2x and this? :O
Apologize, If I have committed anything wrong by posting this thread

Hi Bro,
I have sent PM to you notifying the same as you posted this rom. I hope Marciin88 will not have any issue for creating this new thread for v2x-2b. If so, please feel free to PM me and I will remove/close this thread.
Thanks,
Diliban. P

Can i flash this straight from firsrUA rom or should i flash coderomv2 then only flash coderomv2b ?
is it safe to flash directly from CodeROM v2? no wipe needed?
then we will be KPN now?
what happens to all installed apps?
is this more battery-efficient than the previous version? does the apps especially map/rate places still keep on running on background?
You could use this ROM over KPH or KPN

Hmm but "framework from KPH"... doesn't that mean it doesn't matter which rom we flash over?

framework is just a 7mb part of the Android OS.
That's why, it all depends in what you need. Do you need the Gtalk video call? Then go 2.3.4 since that's the only difference of KPH to KPN (you don't need the Gtalk video call actually since we don't have a front facing camera in the ace). If you prefer the bug fixes of KPN, then go KPN.

Sorry if this seems obvious, but I just wanted to confirm from someone experienced before proceeding. Hope this will help more noobs like me.
If I am at 2.3.4 (KPH or any custom rom based on kph) and I want to use this rom over 2.3.3 (KPN), I need to flash KPN first and I can then flash coderomv2-2 and live happily after. And vice-versa. Right or Wrong?
Thanks

It should be.zip, not tar. You downloaded a kernel, not rom.

Please if somebody can help me how to proceed.
