Hello everyone. I recently installed an ics rom on my kindle, and am loving it. The only thing that I'm having trouble with is my Golf Digest app. Before I was running the rom I had a Golf Digest app that allowed me to download the magazine.
When i go to the Amazon app store the app will not show up for me to download. Is it possible to still get magazines once you are running a custom rom? Anyone have any suggestions?

Wolfram Alpha used to be working on my device when I ran stock 2.2 and the Gingerbread based RC2 Apex rom. But now I'm running MIUI and I can't seem to get it installed. I purchased the program on the Android Market and got it for free while it was the free app of the day on Amazon's market (just in case), and neither will install. I also tried to restore the app with Titanium backup, but with no luck.
I also searched around and tried to install the app through an Update.zip, but that didn't work either.
Does anyone have any ideas?
PS. I also saw another thread for this in the Galaxy S II part of the forums, but the person who answered didn't give a very detailed response, and I had no clue as to what they were getting at. Any help would be appreciated, even if it's telling me that I can't ever get it to work.
Amazon got Documents to go full version key free for the day. Pretty good app for tablets.
wow, thats awesome. thank you very much. I got this and installed on my phone, but when i try to install the Main app 3.0 (from the amazon app store or from the android market) i get a fc or install failed. anyone else experiencing this?

I rooted my Fire and Installed Rom CM7 and can not find how to get to the Library to read books or magazines. I also installed Go Launcher Exe. I have ADW Launcher on my Fire but when I start it up, still no Library. Help Please!!!

I just want to install the tegra games directly from the Google play store instead of sideloading them.
I found the Device Spoofer hoping that would work, and there's still games I can't download.
Anyone know of an apk I can install or another solution?
I'm running aokp with franco kernal & nova launcher on nexus 7.

if you have another tablet or phone with ics, gingerbread or froyo, you can send the apk file from that device to your Nexus 7 with using an app, e.g. "AppSender".

I found a bit of info on XDA but nothing worked that I've tried. I am getting a message on Google Playstore "Your device is not compatible" so I tried the apk route using apkmirror & 2 other similar tools but got a message saying parsing error.
Can anyone recommend something that might work for me? Most of the info I found on XDA was from very old posts (2016)
Thanks in advance for any help. By the way, the app I am trying to get on either Google Play or App Store (which Google Play installed fine using XDA's Fire Toolbox latest version). Also, the app is the blueletter bible which installs fine (app from Playstore) on my Fire 7" which I think is from 2019.
