I've downloaded the chinese rom (ics repack) for galaxy note
It's very fast, stable and beautiful rom but I've faced a problem:
When I was trying to choose a picture for my contact from gallery, it's suddenely stopped
and when I choosed a certain wallpaper I face the same problem and after a while I got this message: Unfortunately, gallery has stopped
So I concluded that the problem is when I try to crop a picture because every thing else is working well in gallery app
So is there a certain tweak or solution for this problem and thanks a lot

I recently had issues with my phone and have had to root it and try various ROMS. I am currently on CyanogenMod 5. Okay, now to the problem: ever since my phone crashed and I've tried these mods, my camera's shutter won't work. The camera focuses as if it will take the picture, but then it freezes on the picture and doesn't load, nor does the picture appear in the gallery later. This is the same for the original camera app, the Camera Magic app and the Retro Camera apps I downloaded, and Google Goggles. However, the camcorder still works and records video just fine. How can I fix this so my camera works again?

same here with CM 6 .... picture taken but it does not save to gallery, after some time force to close or wait. sometimes reboot works sometimes same issue.

Does my radio file need updated? HELP?
there is no fix, it is google not releasing the camera module, nor helping out the issue.

I installed Android on my phone yesterday and am amazed how easy it was, and how everything works perfectly! Thanks to all the teams/devs for the great work!
The only issue I have is with the camera (the one at the back, I'm not using the front one). Previews are displayed with a right-to-left flip (e.g. showing text written backwards). When the picture is taken it is saved right, so it's just a configuration issue I guess.
Also the video function is non working. I always get a "The application Camera(process com.android.camera) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again".
Camera360 and Camera Zoom FX do not have the left-right problem, but they do have the video problem. I did not keep them as they do not work in full screen.
My config : HTC HD2, Android 2.3.4, mod HyperDriod-CM7-v2.1.0, build GRJ22

when the htc hd2 use Windows, camera and sound are great, but when you put the android, the focus is not a good picture, the picture is dimmer than the camera in Windows, and the sound is 20 percent weaker? Does anyone know a solution for it, now I use a miui 1.6.17

i know camera was activities in CM9 ICS 4.0.4 but when i take a picture with default camera then skin of people change to another color (unreal color) it's same skin of "Sheck" Lol =))
i tried a lot of application camera on Google play but picture quality no change

PROBLEM WITH OTHER CAMERA apk
My problem is that , my stock camera apk(ICS) is working properly but it takes long time to take that snap.
I tried to install other camera applications but i found that every application displays "INVERTED SCREEN" (When the Camera id ON).
After clicking on the button (to take the snap) it automatically reverts back and shows Correctly in the Gallery..

Hello All, jam new here.
So i have an issue with with my nexus 7.
Its not a big problem but making me nervous when something goes wrong. After I installed and used this app: screenshot ux trial, my gallery got buggy. Once I took a screenshot of gallery, all the animation in gallery now is bugged. Just after click a photo while it should zoom smoothly, it starts blinking screen, just blinking twice the older picture.
So how I can fix it. Please help.

YEa, tried, still same problem.
Finnaly i deleted orginal gallery, but dont kow how to get it back, any ideas? Or maybe someone can upload dat app?
Hi to everyone,
since I installed Rom based on AOSP, CM, overall SlimRom that is my favourite, I always met FC on camera.
Googling on xda forum, I searched post with the same problem, and talk about Goolge camera to flash in recovery to replace stock camera.
I follow the suggestion also with latest update but FC happens again (are always behind the corner: Italian expression).
This occur when tap the screen to focus the image. If I would make a photo sequence device FC.
There's a solution? I tried other camera apps but nothing FC FC FC

Now Im on Omni Rom and nowadays seems not have FC like other AOSP as Slim. Why these difference?

Hi to everyone,
perhaps I've discovered the problem with camera. Since month I installed an app to keep wake device smart eye, and I believe this app should make a conflict with the camera when scan with front camera.
I've been unable camera from app control and now works. Sometimes crash without fc.
Sorry but I've never thought at this conflict.
