I flashed my defy(red) with Quarx's nightly build 20120330.It has a FC with "com.android.phone" while setting APN.
Someone can tell me how to fix it?
It's normal with nightly build 20120318.

hi there. so this is my problem. i have cm7 .35 kernel, and every time i want to search for networks, it searches for a while, but then it says "error while searching for networks". so i must have it set to automatic selection. everything works fine with stock 2.2, stock 2.3 and miui. but it doesn't work with cm7 (both .35 and .32), aurora (it used to-untill about v2.09), lewa os and mokeeos (first-class rom v3), and also of i put in another sim card, still doesn't work. any help anyone?
Your problem is typical problem of CM7.

i know that. and it's the same problem at cm9. ok lewa and mokee are based on cm7, but why aurora? i read somewhere that the problem is in too old baseband, and that it can be fixed (at least at some other phones) by flashing newer version of baseband. could that be true? and where can i get baseband?
I am currently running CM7.2 latest nightly (1st March 2013). Good ROM, but the Wifi reception is noticeably bad. Is this something that is well known?
P.S.
Before CM7.2 I was playing with CM9 (on GB and Defy+ ROM) and I flashed "kernel-gb-234-451-134-signed" from Epsylon, when I reverted back to CM7.2 I had boot issues until I flashed "kernel-froyo-222-179-4-signed" also from Epsylon.
May be my problem has to do with the Kernel?

Hello,
Tried many custom roms but usually end up coming back to the offical AOKP rom for the N4. I like the options and speed of the rom, find it very stable and use the theme engine. I haven't tried their 4.3 roms as they are all nightlies and I am always led to believe these are a bit risky for using as a daily driver. I use my phone for work and important things.
I have stayed with 4.2, but the only issue I have found is that the camera flash does not work. I have tried the latest stable 4.2 release, but then under instruction by aokp him/herself flashed the last 4.2 nightly as I was told there was a camera fix for that release. This was a clean install, I wiped and flashed.
Unfortunately I still cannot get the camera flash to work. I know my phone is not faulty as the flash works fine in Beanstalk, CM and other roms.
Anyone else experienced this?
The nightly releases for AOKP 4.3.1 are stable. Just make s nandroid backup and install them.

ThemeManager crash with Franco/Hells kernel
Hi,
Did anyone had issue with ThemeManager. It's crashing always while restarting phone. I tried Franco/Hells kernel and it happens on both. It's working correctly on standard kernel. I tried to set up stock theme/clean data in application. Nothing helps.
Im currently on the latest CM 11 nightly. I read that to install the temasek ver of cm 11, i just have to flash it without wiping. So after that, if i wan to revert back to CM 11 nightly, or update to a newer ver of CM 11 nightly, can i just flash the new ver on tamasek ver of cm 11 without wiping?

I recently updated from the final omnirom build of android 4.4 to the 8/27 omni rom nightly. I updated the gapps package and rooted the tablet as well. Everything would be working fine if the os didn't crash and restart all the time. I updated to today's nightly and that did not help. Is there anything that can be done to fix this?
