Any suggestions?
What did you do to it?
you have to provide details about what happened and what model of tpt you have, what firmware, is cwm installed (its rooted?). Maybe it can be recovered. Maybe its not so serious. We'll tell you if it is .
use your warranty

I rooted and reflashed my Hero months ago. Now I want to install the origilan HTC ROM on it, but when I try to do the first update, it doesn't work. I think it's because I replaced the recovery with the one that allowed me to have other ROMs on my Hero. Where can I find the original ROM zipped so that I can update it, or restore the original recovery ROM?
Can someone help me?
Try these, they are the genuine ROMs from HTC.

lol not bricked, it is from working device, maybe you have problem somewhere else
EDIT: of course, there is no problem with build.prop, i just read your posts
You are bricked your device by wiping data in stock recovery ( probably because you edited a bulid.prop, and ended with bootlop )
Why not following a guide from nokiamodeln91 first, instead searching for build.prop, which will not help you to boot your device

I don't know if anyone really knows how to do this. Up until now, we have only been trying to un-brick our phones, but we never thought about actually bricking it on purpose.
As long as the hardware is fine, it cannot be permanently bricked! Because you would only have to install the android and everything starts working again.
In my opinion, I don't think this is even possible. But, wait until others have come up with things.
By the way, why would you even want to brick your phone in the first place?
There is no reason a person would want to purposely brick their own device unless it was for insurance fraud. With that being said threads like these are not allowed on Xda. Please refrain from creating one in the future

There was little interest in the guide before it was removed. And now many are asking for it. My guide was stolen by another XDA member. Once staff have a chance to deal with the thief, I will repost it. I can only assume that they are busy though as I haven't heard anything further in four days. So they probably haven't looked into it yet.

Thank you so much.
I'm not sure if it is the same as fffft's instruction. But I will save it for reference.
Do you know if anyone has added successfully using this instruction?

I remember similar problem on HTC Desire where it was due to wrong graphics driver. Maybe you flashed something wrong, but I cant say for sure.
Otherwise it can be a loose display cable or hardware issue too.

Maybe you've flashed a kernel from another device or the other things I mentioned, I can't help you with that. Maybe hardbrick guide can help you out.
