Captivate radio worked properly for me. Use the JJ sequence.
Radio-CM7-ICS-Captivate-JJ4-Signed
Sometimes yes sometimes no. Because of different bands and hardware sometimes it can brick your phone.

JJ sequence or any of the i847 modems didnt work for me. Only some of the I9000 modems work but not much better than the vibrant.

Hello everyone, I bought an Atrix to upgrade my Defy, I'm very satisfied with the phone except for one thing, the signal power of my Defy is way higher than my Atrix. I work underground and with the same carrier my Defy works excelent, while my Atrix keeps getting out of signal ;(
Is there a way to increase the power for the radio in order to get a better reception?
Try flash to the latest radio if you havent done so

Where do I find the files? Also, is there some sort of tweak to increase the radio power?
Are you on AT&T? If so try flash this through cwm

Firmware
2.2.1
Baseband version
s:i400.0.6v.DL17
Build Number
SCH.I400.EC03
is that right? just wondering.
Everything is working with one minor exception but i think its something entirely different.
You didn't flash the modem xP You should have baseband: s:i400.0.6v.EC03

Correction: new rom+kernel on old radio...
Even funnier!? xP
Sent from my SCH-I400 using xda premium
I have not had a single person say that this is going to cause a problem with anything. if it is, please speak up. random remarks on how funny it is that i am running this isn't helping.
Because it is common sense
If directions for flashing 2.2 tell you to do something, like flash the new 2.2 radio, then you should probably do it xP
Otherwise, you can't even try to complain about GPS issues, phone call issues, etc...

I agree as for common sense, i know i should have done this. and honestly though i did.
and i have the files downloaded and saved to my dropbox.
but again, my point is, i am not having a single problem.GPS is working great (used on a daily basis), phone calls are perfect, loud and clear, even the one problem i was having turned out to be the headset itself. unless someone can give me a reason that i should/have to go to the 2.2 radio (EI someone tell me something that can only be done on the 2.2 radio and not on the one i am on currently) otherwise, i see no need to do it.
From what I have gathered its a hit or miss weather or not you'll have any problems using an outdated radio having not done it personally I guess I can't talk...
But in my opinion i've seen faster data transfer and less dead-zones than before so I would recommend it but I won't tell you that you need to do it
And anyways why not have the full froyo package?
Didn't mean to offend you good sir just bein a sillypoo XD
Sent from my SCH-I400 using xda premium
I would think you want the froyo modem. Perhaps some apps may not work right or prl updates for phone roaming may not work right?
You may not have problems now, but could down the road. Just my 2 cents.

I've noticed my WiFi signal is quite a bit weaker is comparison to say RCMIX 4.0 or Affinity.
Is there any way to transplant the great WiFi performance to G-Lite?

Well I understood that wifi had more to do with the radio as opposed to the rom.
Hmm. I always thought the opposite. I thought wifi wasnt tied to the radio, that the radio was just for GSM signal...

So you've had the same WiFi performance between roms? Even Sense based?
Sent from my T-Mobile G2 using xda premium
Well the radio and rom are two separate things, you must flash them independently. Certain radios work better for some on certain roms, but also it depends on the region as well, it really is the epitome of YMMV! I personally stick to radios from official updates, besides if it ain't broke don't fix it. In your case it was but now it's fine so just be careful. Flashing radios is the number one phone bricker next to one click root solutions.
I'd like to know which radio you ended up using as well. I'm also using G-Lite and experiencing weak wifi signal, at least shown on the wifi indicator.
Not sure who your asking but I'm using the newest stock from the last.official ota

Are you sure that it's not just the ROM showing that it has lower signal than it actually does? I'm using g-lite 2.0.1 and i have no problems with wifi at all and this ROM is amazing, i think you should flash the latest radio for the htc vision as that's the one that is recommended by the developer of g-lite. Here's a link to the list of radios for your phone http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=970809 , the one i'm using (which is also the recommended one) is the one at the top of the downloads list - Vision_Radio_12.62.60.27_26.13.04.19.
so i know t-mobile has a 4g galaxy s phone and i know verizon has 4g lte. so i know that the rom im using is based off nexus framework. so is there anything out there that we can get 4g radios for our phones?? im a noob so please dont hate. lol

Unless we had a 4G hardware radio, 4G will never work.
3G is fast though. Especially on the fascinate.
Flashing other, 4G, radios will break everything for service. Sorry if I sound confusing

Sounds like the perfect signature for you.
oh
no it makes sense i just didnt know if the devs on here had the abliity to make a radio. i mean it sounds realistic. lol. and yes its fast. i have min on ics and using nstools to oc at 1.5ghz but when i increase the bus speed using liveoc it goes crazy and restarts so i leave that alone

Anyone having problems with text messaging lately? I'm a pretty heavy texter and I had people tell me that some of their text messages didn't go through to me or some of mine didnt go through to them the past few days. Running Euphoria if that matters... I never had this problem on froyo but I am not sure if its coincidental and just a t-mobile problem atm...
I had the same problem yesterday while running Frankenstein-FishmanMod. I wasn't getting any texts and none were going out. A restart seemed to fix it.
That weird, I mean mine isn't completely not working but it seems to happen every so often and a restart doesn't help at all I flashed back to froyo this morning and it still happened... I guess im going to have to call tmobile
Have the same problem on my sensation
