I love my new K1 but "Home" button gestures are driving me crazy! When this button is touched (not pressed) it often acts like "Back" button.
Can this stupid feature be disabled?

Its definitely handy when you're sitting, but very irritating when you're lying down and the device leaning on your tummy..
So +1 to finding a way to disable it, albeit, temporarily though.

Ok, I found a solution. Sort of..

Looks ugly, but it does the job - the button still can be pressed, but it doesn't respond to accidental touches anymore.

Ok, so is it just me, or is the close button more of a minimize button?
Is there a way to close the application when I hit the X ?
find the program HTC X-button
That is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Are there any reprocusions to it though? Like loss of entered data?
Just as long as you save whatever you’re working on, but I haven't had any adverse effects of using the program.

Here is a powerful little app to actually close running programs with several options.81252.25.11.1
if you want to keep the "minimize" function, what i did was install hbutton and set the first button in the list to <today>.

Hi there,
I'm using Touch-IT v9 from itje and i was wondering, is it possible to change from the "Slide to Answer" to a "button to answer" instead?
Thanks

It says Slide to Answer/Ignore... are you saying you could just hit the "Answer" part and it would answer?
If you look at the image above, the landscape is a button while the portrait is a 'slide' thing.
That`s interest. I want it also.

no, he said you can use the green hardware button instead of sliding
For those of you that have your Adam and have been playing with if for a while, at least on mine, I have noticed that there seems to be a hidden button on the top right of the device, along the trim at the top. Does anyone else experience this "Hidden Button" and if so, what do you think its for? Could this have something to do with the mystery feature?
U talking about under the m in Adam?
I don't see anything.

To the right of the M. Along that edge there. Only thing I can think to call it is molding. It presses like its a button. Terrible image but see how the edge there breaks at the top? Of you run your finger down the edge of that like an inch, and push it, it like clicks.

Hi there,
Is there a way to get the Expand desktop option in the power menu (long press power button) , as in PA 3.0 but in the AOSP 4.2.2.
I love the navbar buttons, I dont like the PIE and it's delay that makes me wait.
It would be great. Look, like this

No, there is not. That is a system level configuration that would require a custom ROM. Almost all of them have it now.
I am not sure whether this have been posted, but i just like to share it here.
Power key too high? Here's how to comfortably switch off and lock the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge from its Edge display.

I use Power Widgets from playstore. Its the best. Not only for power but many things. Thanks for posting though, that is def cool if you want power only.

Note [Edge] Powered by Android
Just use Tasker
I was going to look for an app but in the process I realized that with a combination of Nova Launcher and Tasker there is an even better solution. I can now lock the screen either by double tapping the home screen or just by long long pressing the home button.
You can also use the Assistant Menu under accessibility in settings
I m use this just shake shake and off my phone.
Shake off
