Samsung S8500 romanian firmware!!!!! - Bada Software Development

Hello all,
could you all help me in finding the original Samsung S8500 romanian firmware for Bada 1.0 , or the fast Bada 1.2???? I have Bada 2.0 ,but it's still in beta state, so it fells laggy . Please help me!!!!

you can find here
http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/?page=3&t=1&o=2&m=GT-S8500&r=1#regiona

Thanks r_22009 for the link! Ok so i discovered a way to have bada 1.2 on my phone and also the way to make the update to 2.0 by KIES to the latest version.
Here is how i made it:
1. i downloaded S8500XXJL2_Full
2. flashed with MultiLoader-V5.67
3. after that i pressed the combination :*#272*HHMM# - where the HHMM is the current time( *#272*1830# for 18:30 time) and selected in CSC menu the corresponding code for my country : HAT or COA.
4. after rebooting i made a hard reset using *2767*3855# and waited for my phone to reboot again
5. i connected my phone using KIES and i received the message that a new firmware is available for my phone : meaning BADA 2.0 (witch is still beta in Romania)
So all of you that would like to go back to BADA 1.2 ,do what i wrote here and you will have no problems. (if bada 2.0 wasn't in beta state with a lot of bugs i would't have gone back to 1.2 )

Downgrade Galaxy S i9000 16GB UK to Android Eclair 2.1 from official Froyo 2.2

Hi everyone. This is my first ever post in my life and hope it will be helpful. I do appologize for my English if I have mistakes in words and sentences.
I have installed Android official Froyo 2.2 upgrade from stock Eclair 2.1 three days ago and I did not liked how Froyo is working (slow). So I decided to get back to Eclair 2.1 and apply RyanZa`s lag fix (and wait for RyanZa to make it work with official Froyo) as it was not working on Froyo 2.2 official (could not root it). I was searching today for the right Firmware version for me (I9000XXJM1) so I can use official upgrade to Froyo from KIES again. And I have found it(many thanks to everyone who helping each other and we all can find answers). I am not sure if it will work for all Galaxy S i9000 8 or 16GB, but it definitely worked for me (I have an upgrade message waiting for me on my last KIES everytime I am connecting my Galaxy S but I do not want it now ). I have uploaded all files you will be needed, see the attached picture as I can not put link in my post (rules of XDA). ODIN program and Firmware I9000XXJM1 in one file.
My phone is Samsung Galaxy S i9000 16GB simfree United Kingdom version I believe.
This is how I did that (how I learned from XDA):
1) extract all files using Rar or Zip to a folder
2) open Odin3 v1.3
3) check Re-partition box
4) select PIT file - s1_odin_20100512
5) select PDA file - CODE_I9000XXJM1_REV03_LOW_20100721_2206.tar
6) select PHONE file - MODEM_I9000XXJM1.tar
7) slect CSC file - CSC_I9000OXAJM1.tar
8) put phone in downloading mode - volume button down+home button+power button
9) connect your phone to PC with USB cable
10)you should see com port in ID:COM section in ODIN
11)press START button in ODIN
12) your phone will restart itself when downloading is finished
Congrats, you have now Eclare 2.1 and should be able to upgrade to Froyo 2.2 from KIES
It is not my work and honor, there much more clever guys out there then me, I just used they`s knowledge and want to have an apportunity to help everyone who need it. Maybe I am late already?
thx, was just looking for this,
I am glad.
z4root works fine with 2.2, as does flashing a rooted kernel (e.g. CF-Root kernel) using odin. Both are available on this forum if you do a search.
Oh, thanks for info. Will definitely try z4root.
heloo mate the files are no longer there, is there another way i can get hold of them please?
File no longer exists.... update please if possible
It is there. I did not remove it. I am sorry but I can not copy paste it here becouse of the XDA rules but I promise you they are uploaded and still there. See the URL on the picture above. By the way "z4root" is not working for me (SGS i9000 16GB FROYO.XXJPO simfree UK), it just never end to attempting apply root to the phone? was doing it yesterday more then 1 hour.
Ok .. go the files from samfirmware and downgraded from JPM to JM1. Did as you said with re-partition. I then did a factory reset on JM1 then upgraded via kies to JPO.
Just to be sure I get a clean install I then did a factory reset on JPO too.
Works like a charm... Now I can update via kies whenever they (if they ever) release new updates....
WICKED!
THANKS
Oh almost forgot.... I used a Samasung Galaxy S 8 Gig model from the carphone warehouse!
Thanks mate, finally done it, i typed in upper case according to the link, i had to do it in lower case instead. thanks once again.
Woked for me thanks, wanted rid of the Nordic firmware, will wait till the UK froyo is released.
Thasnks again
I am very glad that it works for you all.
I will try it tonight and come back with the answer. I'm from Romania, I have nordic froyo and right now we have the official version so I have to downgrade first
Hope it`s working for Romania as well but not sure. Anyway, good luck.
Hello,
Thanks for this, I downgraded from 2.2 (installed last moth using Kies hack) to JM1 but I still can't upgrade to official Froyo using Kies, it says cannot update this device's version.
I'm on Orange in Romania.
Could someone help? How can I upgrade to official 2.2?
Thanks.
NKProds - try downgrading to an Eclair version that was used for Orange Romania phones and please post the results.
1. If I make upgrade to froyo with odin can i make the same steps to downgrade him to 2.1? (because title say downgrade from official froyo who means from kies).
2. I have problems with camera (not open) and with scroll bar (not open) after i make download and install thetering from market(
I reinstall camera but problems stiil there. That is the final choice (downgrade-upgrade again from kies) to try something before to send to service.
I have problem. In downloading mode computer not regonize phone. HELP.
Open Kies and let it run in the background connect phone see if it finds drivers .

Thank you so much for this post, saved me hours of searching.

Updating device problems with Kies

Hi, i'm italian and i have an Samsung Galaxy S SCL (GT-i9003), but when I connect to my PC (with Windows XP installed on) Kies recognizes the phone but after that the page of "general information" on the phone told me this: "This version of the device can not be updated. "
The problem may lie in the fact that the phone is not Italian, but Polish? (it is imported, because the Serial Number be XEO)
I'm not going to change the telephone or the like Odin to "force" the update (I prefer to keep it true) but I just want to know if when it comes out officially Gingerbread for my mobile phone can be updated by Kies, or I will be forever bound to have Froyo on my beloved Galaxy S SCL?
(Sorry for my English, but i'm Italian...)
Help please
what is you Firmware at the moment? if you had flashed it once with odin for an example 2.2.1 and your latest Firmware for key product XEO is 2.2.1 available in Kies of course your phone cant be upgraded because it is the same Firmware....unless the Kies show up with 2.3.3 then you can upgrade your firmware........i am not sure if i am answering your question or not...just trying to help from what i know...
Same happened with me,it will last until there is no update for ur phone. But once new firmware was avaliable then it showed up on KIes. Make sure u have the latest Kies version installed on ur pc .
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App

Nobody has because like you nobody saved a copy .
You can try an older version of your FW and update via Kies
Or you can try the spoof fw thread/app

Just use Odin to flash the original 2.3 including bootloaders. Then you will have the most recent version, and original.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1102881
That will do.
Thank you JJEgan
it was a greate ideea to use SpoofFW, but i have tried to put:
PDA: I9000XFJP7
PHONE: I9000XXJPP
CSC: I9000OXFJPB

G1 firmware on KIES

Hi,
I just update my SGSII to KG with Kies (before I was still running E2):
Current firmware version: PDA:KG1 / PHONE:KG1 / CSC:KG2 (XEF)
Mine is European French version. But probably other releases are available
too...
android 2.3.3 or 2.3.4?
Uhm... 2.3.3...
juicy - the leaked XXKG1 and XXKG2 are 2.3.4
I don't understand what Samsung does with its tons of different local releases of software... Anyhow:
2.3.3
I9100XXKG1
2.6.35-7-I9100XWKG1-CLlabeltest_I9100XWKG1
GINGERBREAD.XWKG1
Kies also has an update for my Galaxy S2 (French phone provider with KE2 firmware).
--> I was just wondering : does a Kies firmware update wipe all the data or nothing will change besides the firmware ?
--> How long does it take for Kies to update the phone ?
--> Any battery improvement with the KG1 firmware ?
(this is the only problem I have on the phone + from time to time the lost network for a couple of seconds)
Also available for Odin via the link in my sig.

Click to collapse
1- No, it won't wipe any data.
2- Depends on the your ISP's speed, mine is just 2 mbps and it took around 20-25 mins.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 N910P with Persian language direct link (Official)

Hello
Now, the stock rom is 5.1.1 and there was an error or issue with shareit app and i had to full wiped the phone with twrp custom recovery and after that, the phone's rom has been broken or just has a problem which says, there is no OS installed.
So, i had to download 5.0.1 after a lot of search with a good link and after introduce it to ODIN, there is a problem which that is also says:
sw check fail aboot fused error
So, i've read the same threads and saw something like cannot go back to older version.
So, is there any roms links (direct links) as official with persian supports language to download with 5.1.1 version? i've seen the sammobile info about the country and found nothing about the country and persian language.
It should be useful for the others which they have the same issue in future.
Any helps would be great, i've been fixing this issue about 8 hours by now! Just needs a guide or help about a direct link of official rom for Note 4 N910P
I don't believe the stock Sprint N910P firmware ever supported Farsi by default.
My recommendations:
1) Download the latest OK1 firmware and install with Odin (Samsung doesn't allow you to go back to 5.0.1 ) - http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4-sprint/general/stock-tar-odin-flashable-t3250864
2) Download a Farsi keyboard (it won't change the OS, but since you appear fluent in English, it should allow you to send texts and messages in Farsi - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.boloorian.android.farsikeyboard&hl=en
I know there is a huge desire to buy Sprint phones for International use because their price on the secondary market is far lower than other models in the same family. However, if native language support is important to you, I would steer clear in the future. An International version will have a far wider language library installed.
