i've flashed my hd2 to windows phone 7 and now it's not able to find any wifi networks,it just keeps searching. does domebody know how I can solve this problem?

Hi,
I've used Windows Phone 7 build 7004 XBmod-Yuki ROM v2, but before that i had used another one, and that didn't work too.
But i've discovered something weird, when i get really close to my wireless router then it cand find and connect to the network, so i assume that it is a hardware problem or am I wrong?
Do a simple test, reinstall Windows Mobile 6.5 and try to search networks to see if it presents the same simpthoms. If yes Its almost certain to be a hardware problem, try to search some public hotspots if possible to see if it is your router too.

Can i just flash windows mobile 6.5 without installing any special thing?
Yes I think so maybe you just need to reinstal the SPL under 2.08. And flash with a official HTC ROM to test it, it will be almost like factory new.

flashed it to windows mobile 6.5 and after that to nand android rom, both no changes, still searching for networks.
is it possible that I have some wrong driver or some like that? or is it really the hardware?
Hmm. The drive that controls the antennas is the RADIO, maybe you can try some flashes with diferent RADIOs to see the result.

Sorry,I'm learning English.
I mean I have used many nike radio,include 1.58.16.27,1.58.21.23,1.58.25.14,1.64.06.04,1.64.08.21,1.65.24.36,1.71.09.01,there are useless.And I have upgraded or degraded my rom,2rd camea still can't word.

with the latest oficial rom it should work, it does for me.
I have the same problem, ive got the latest rom and used to be able to take photos with the 2nd camera but now the button in the cam app disapeared

a sad update.. now both cameras died...

i dont know if its related (still could be dodgy hardware) but i updated the hard spl to 1.22 in this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2786065&postcount=439 from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=355730 and my front camera is back.. for how long lol, i do not know..

I had the "old" 1.22 hardspl and kept loosing the front camera after a while too... Most of the time I didnt even noticed because I dont use it at all.
Now I have this one (and didnt even had to hard-reset the device), working on the clean black rom v1.
ok, i tried with new hardspl bur nothing. then i tried updating with the new official wwe rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=464176 and i recovered at least primary camera...
i'm tempted to call HTC assistance but i'm afraid they will keep my device for a month or more... :-(

are you sure you updated the spl right? (power on device while holding in camera to double check the version).. what radio version have you got? try 1.71.09.01K radio and a compatible rom, like the newest lilly or clean black rom.
im convinced its nothing more than a conflict between spl, radio and rom versions.

I have an O2 XDA11s which I have flashed from WM2003 to sun_dreams WM6.1 Pro
does anyone have an updgrading procedure for flashing to sun_dreams's latest ROm Beta?......wanna ensure i do it right so i dont burn the phone!!

1-boot loader(power+recorder+hard reset)usb connection.
2-run MaUpgradeUt.exe of the rom.
3-wait until finish.
4-then format(record+camera+hrd reset) chose(no,yes,yes,)message bottun.
5-have fun.
the wm6.1 pro is far stabel than 6.5. and as my experience, the WM6.5 is messy alot. (a huge loading icon, plus huge Menu font which i smalled through the resco registry. Startup is slower than sundream's aku 1.4.1
If you want the microsoft touch scroll in drop down menus, go for 6.5, otherwise touch scrolling works perfect in 6.1 aku 1.4.1 too
I just vote for the 6.1 (aku 1.4.1) coz its the best stable rom, Plus IE 8 makes it superb (youtube on the go and its stable too)
i suggest not to upgrade to wm6.5
as topic stated it's still a BETA, so if u want stability pls stick to the previous sun_dream rom.
I am using sun_dream's WM6.5beta and as far as it goes it is still stable with all the apps that I have. Just some VERY MINOR bugs.

Worse case scenario, build yourself a virtual machine, either use Microsoft Virtual PC or VMWare.

When I upgraded from wm5 - 6.1 I used vista. In the process I got the Blue Screen of Death at 83%...not nice feeling. This is after I had changed the drivers for active sync.
Anyhow I kept on trying (3 attempts) and it worked thankfully not bricking the device.
Now I try and run the exe. And it just says checking device and don’t disconnect device. There is no progress from there????

I'm currentlly using vista and had flashed my BA a dozen times with no problem you just need to follow the Guide at the WiKi under Flashing in Vista part.

Flashed the ROM several times using XP then followed guide lines in WiKi changed driver and all...
It has been a problem since i have had vista with docking and syncing! drives me bonkers.
I did flash rom from 5 to 6.1 with problems....does any one else have problems with Vist? or just me.......

What kinda bugs?
I'm about to flash my BA with WM6 and I'm just wondering which one should I choose 6.1 or 6.5. I appreciate stability, speed and that wifi, bt, phone apps function correctly. Any info on those? What I don't need is "eyecandy". How about battery consumption?
Appreciate any info and comparison between 6.1 and 6.5

P.S. Great work guys(Explode, Sundream, Red_hanks and others)! I was about to toss my BA away but with help from this forum I'll keep using it.

I think I have a problem in the battery when I connect the 3G and when using the browser it some tome hangsm...plus the battery drain is so high when on the 3G network!!
Any ideas?

Here is the link to the Master Radio Thread that gives you all the available radios for the HD2. Just make sure to flash the correct one for your phone or you can brick it!

i installed android, but not good, so i dropped it out of my hd2, but now i try to instal "Radio 2.08.50.05 + task29" and "Radio Leo 2.15.50.14". but the program is working, but when you can see how much procent the instalment is, its everytime 0! i don't know what to do. somebody help me please?
the only things i can do with the phone:
start up in magldr(with that 11 options)
start up in that 4-colored screen
and i'm installing android gingerbread...
please what to do?

I do not understand exactly what you are trying to say. Are you saying that when you flash the radios, they do not work. Or when you flash the NAND ROM via MAGLDR, it doesn't load. If it is a radio issue, you may need to Run As Administrator in order for the flash to work. If it is loading a ROM and you have MAGLDR working, then go to Option 8 and load the ROM zip file from there. I would suggest looking at the ROM thread you are trying to flash to obtain additional answers there. The OP for this thread just wanted to know if it is possible to flash different radios onto their HD2 phone.

It won't work since it still requires for you to install the beta over zune...

Sorry man, you are not the first one asking this. There are several other threads about the mango-update for now, why open another one?
No its not working. How should it, did you ever update your hd2 with wp7 over zune? I guess not. We have to wait till dft or the legendary yuki build a rom that will be flashable via magldr. there is no other way!
you need to remember my friend that the HD2 is not ment to have WP7 on it at all.
The only reason we do have it is because of some test drivers that were made way back, these test drivers are not finished drivers which is why we have a dodgy touch screen / battery/ camera / flashl
anyhow, even if it were possible to install the update on the HD2 via zune you would very likely end up buggering up your device. All it takes is for MS to overwrite one of our special drivers and that would be it.
so in short, the only way we have of upgrading is to reflash when someone releases a HD2 compatible ROM, thats it, as of right now there is no other way.

No, but ICS and JB have some kind of restrictions on the WiFi. So if you have a sim card from a certain country, the wifi will not work. It's just an assumption, I do not know. You can try and report back.
If it DOES work on gingerbread, then you just have to use WiFix (google it).

when I try the rom in my brother hd2 the wifi work normally but when I trying it in Hd2 tmous dos't work ... so if the problom from the sim card the wifi should not working on both devices ...
that is the strang thing in this problem may be the tmous need some thing special i realy don't understand
