i have i galaxy s but i was wrong flashing with galaxy tap flash file...
can any help me solve this problem .....

Can you get into download mode? If so, flash the correct files again.

cannot go into download mode ..
just black lcd now..and i test with power supply the metter it show 0.2 to 0.4

Here's a hot tip...
If your thread has "help" in the title, it almost certainly doesn't belong in development.
If your download mode is inaccessible, you may need a jig. Lots of info around here.
Why were you flashing without testing your three button download/recovery first?

First of all charge ur sgs. Then go to 3 button combo(volume down+home button+power) download mode. Then using Odin flash Darkyy 9.2 resecure resecure edition. Hope this will clear ur problem.

this phone is program chinese version but my patner wrong putting galaxy tap flash file ..now ii just hope someone can help me ...pls
i have try enter recovery mode but fail i have try take out batterry for 1 hr but fail too now jz jig no try yet
stil have any solution ??

People have made numerous suggestions. Try to get into DOWNLOAD MODE (not recovery) by removing the battery, replacing it, and pressing VOL DOWN + HOME + POWER and holding them.
If that really doesn't work after you have tried multiple times, you will need to order a Jig from Ebay.
Beyond that, the only solution for the future is STOP YOURSELF FROM DOING STUPID THINGS TO YOUR PHONE BY TAKING CARE AND LEARNING AS MUCH AS YOU CAN BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING WHATSOEVER!

yup tottally right when u don kno stuff there r 100s of topic,,and every rom here has in bold caution---download and recovery check...
anywayz **** happens try the download mode use the jig or search the youtube on how to make one or the last u can send it to sammy center...

but my patner wrong putting galaxy tap flash file ..now ii just hope someone can help me ...pls

[Q] No access to recovery or download mode

I wanted to root my sons phone
SGY GT-S5360L, 2.3.5, S5360LUHKI1, Kernel 2.6.35.7 [email protected] #1, GINGERBREAD.UMKJ2
Unfortunately i cannot enter recovery or download mode with the 3 buttons combo, so i dont know how to flash a custom kernel to get rooting. Anybody could help? How can i get access to recovery and download?

sure thing, just flash this in stock recovery no need for CWM, it works and gets your phone rooted

Sorry how do i get to stock recovery? Volume up, power and home gives nothing.
Also volume down, power and home does not enter download mode.

is that a custom kernel?where did he get that?tell me...is it work?
btw, youre a senior member. please don't be a bad example for newer member here. please put your answer in faq section next time. to root your sons device, you may use super one click from shortfuse if you can't get into recovery nor odin mode.

LOL, it works, it was actually the first file i ever flashed on my Y, gets nonrooted phone rooted right away without any need for a CWM

no...what i mean is the kernel in his son's phone. i've used the same method to root my phone too. (lol)
@clauss: tell me...where did your son got that kernel. we're developing a new kernel for SGY at this moment. that kernel could be helpfull for us.

Thanks a lot that did root my phone, now i can use Titanium backup to restore some apps and databases. I know i should not ask that here, but how could i gain access to stock recovery or download mode to flash a custom rom?

isn't that a combo button for mini?
@clauss: have you turn off your phone before using 3 combo button?it should be work on any stock SGY

Duh...now i feel dumb... i was doing it like on my SGS i9000 where i just restart with the 3 buttons pressed. Now i turned the phone off and it works, both recovery and download. Really many thanks to you and all who answered.

OK I got lost, so how exactly did he root his L version? kurotsugi method or with deathnotice01rootaccess.zip?
I have the same model and kernel, and would like to root it.

i have a peculiar problem.. my galaxy young turns off every time after showing the galaxy y logo.. i can't enter into recovery mode by 3 key combo. but i can enter into download mode but the phone turns off after few seconds.. can't flash via odin.... i have tried the ''without battery method'' mentioned in a thread but same thing happens..
another peculiar thing is that ,, after inserting the battery the phone automatically starts but shutdown after few seconds showing 'galaxy y '' logo..
please help me...

the picture wont help on what phone model that is...refer to your phone ,remove back cover and check..or check the box...
assuming thats a galaxy s I9000 , go into download mode(you are safe as long as you can get into download mode), flash stock ROM via ODIN or Heimdall....

my model is gt-I9000
according to the back of the phone...
and how to flash stock rom exactly?

actually he wrote he can get into DL mode, but not recovery....but yes its also strange why he gets that ! when going into recovery...
when you power on by holding volume down+home button+Power button..do you get download mode? the big triangle with the android digging? if yes the you are safe...
to answer your questions: refer to here for guided HOW TO's to flash via odin / heimdall, it also includes guides to get out of that phone-!-computer...

i did flash of stock rom into the phone so i have a new recovery that work but the rom is not work and when i do in the recovery mount usb storage i don't see anything in the pc from the phone..
what to do now?

[Q] Helpppppp!!!! i cant get into recovery mode

Ok hi im new to here..good afternoon everybody...i need ur help urgently please...the problem is i have a note 3...sm-n900...running kit kat right...but something got corrupted and now my phone it boots..but when it fully boots the touch works..the botton works but i dont see nothing on the screen...but if i keep pressing up the bottons..the screen turns on for a while and i see the time and whatever else on the screen and then its closes off..the pc even reads it and ask me if i wanna open the mass storage so i kno everythings working but now i got this prob before..and i fixed it by luckily getting access to the recovery mode and factory resetting and clearing the cache...now the problem is i can only go into download mode and this time i cant get into recovery mode..and to make it worse odin doesnt have a option to clear cache and factory reset....can someone plz plz help me out i really dont wanna have this phone as a paper weight

Why don't you just flash stock rom in Odin? Before try taking the battery out wait a few seconds put it back in and Press volume up home and power

thanks for ur reply on my post and i tried that alot of times..but my phone jus doesnt wanna go into recovery mode im really frustrated n dont know what else to do....i looked everwhere online ..i saw it had a full wipe odin that ppl made specific for theif devices whihc wipes the cache , dalvic n factory resets the phone one time..but they didnt make any for the note 3....n if it was possible to turn on my adb debugging on my phone that would of helped i dont know what to do

Type n900 and look for your country. Download and flash in Odin

thanks ..im not new to flashing via odin i did it a few times but i tried flashing new roms from the sam mobile site..and nothing is helping the situation im in..it flashes like normal it succeeds..but same problem n still cant get into recovery mode...i can only go into download mode..n its a sm-n900 i have btw

Maybe you post some pics. Best would be if you download the correct firmware and also check the bootloader. Did you flash kitkat from 4.3 or was it always 4.4?

it was always kitkat..n i feel ur right about the bootloader thing cuz im trying to flash the bootloader and it wont go tru idk why

There is a free program for Windows called "My Phone Explorer". It has the "monitor" feature (you'll see the screen of your Note 3 on your pc). You can check if it's only a software problem. I used it for unroot my S3 with cracked screen, try it

It's in settings, general, developer mode. Which you activate by going to my device and clicking a couple of times on build number. If you have access to your phone settings that is.

It only shows the samsung name and goes on in an infinite loop.
I am shattered. My phone is just simply rooted and i run on stock rom 4.3 jb only.
I am a complete NOOB. I donno ****. No custom rom... Or cwm recovery.
I tried wiping cache and factory reset using stock recovery.
I beg u guys... Does any one know how to sovle this thing...?

first get yourself prepared for flashing the stock firmware
find out these details first
1. what version of grand 2 are you using g7102 or g7102t or g7106 or g710
2.which country variant phone are you using that is from which country have you bought your phone from
these details are necessary for downloading the stock rom for your phone..
so first get these details first then i would guide you for further process
ps: these info will be at the back of your phone below your battery
& the coutry info will be the coutry were you are using your phone

I am using g7102.. Made in vietnam....but i am in the middleeast country.....bahrain.
Could u please help me through the complete proces....?
After googling it i camr to know that it is just a softbrick..even after wiping cache and doing a factoy reset...it still goes on in a boot loop...
Please dude....after hours of googling....every where i see the word odin!!!
I am also ok with installing the gennxt s5port rom for grand 2....
I trust you buddy!!!!
I dont have cwm recovry or sumthing...just stock recovery

Dont worry everything will be allright just follow these steps
1.first go to this link ww.sammobile.com & regiter yourself
2.then after registering & login go to this link http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/38736/G7102XXUBNK2_G7102OJVBNK2_KSA/ & download the firmware
.after downloading the firmware extract it at the desktop
3. downlad odin.zip from the attachments in this post & extract it
4.then go to the extracted odin folder & open Odin3 v3.09.exe click ap button on right side & browse to the folder where you extracted the dowloaded firmware in point no :2 & select the md5 file then wait for few minutes it will take some time to be uploaded to odin
4.after it is uploaded to odin tick the boxes on the left side f.reset time,below that nand erase all & below that phone boot loader update & phone efs clear & also select tick near ap button check only these boxes are ticked nothing else should be ticked other than these
5.then switch off your phone by taking the battery out for few sec then press volume down key+power key for few seconds you will enter dowload mode after that press volume up key you will see a screen with something like
odin mode
product name etc...
6.now connect your phone to your pc /laptop you will see blue colour below id:com on upper left corner saying some com port that means your phone is connected
7.now press the start button & let it flash the firmware to your phone after completely flashing the firmware there will something written as res-ok in the message column now disconnect the cable form pc
8.now remove the battery of the phone for few sec & insert it back & go directly to recovery menu by pressing the volume up key +home key+power key let it update the recovery of the phone after that you will see samsung logo at that time remove the battery again & insert it back.
9.now agan go back to recover menu by pressing the volume up key +home key+power key this time do factory reset & wipe cache & restart your phone
10 voila you have sucessfully recovered your soft brickd phone after all this steps & you will be in the latest firmware android 4.4.2 for our phone

Whenever this happens always keep calm have patience and don't get tensed , it happens with many people , it's normal . Now what everyone does when this happens is flash the stock firmware via Odin , just follow the above procedure by grohitsurana it takes time , (like 10-15 mins ) but it will recover your phone.

No need to freak out ! bootloops are no stranger to us all ! grohitsurana perfectly explained what you need to do ! good luck and relax !

Hey awesome dude........i reallly feel happy......i was really tensed.....coz this was my first ever fone u noe......we all know that feel ryt????

But although it worked fine it took up a lot of space i feel. I have a grand 2 with 8 gb internal memory. But now i am accesible only to 5.1 gb. I dont think it was this less earlier.
Did i do a mistake somewhere...? I did a cache wipe and factory reset before installing the new stock firmware...
Help me out guys!
