Note -v- SII for big fingered person - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 General

I use my Note for work, I do not listen to music or play movies. The only game I play is Solitare. I use wireless and bluetooth and connect to Exchange Server for email.
THE GOOD:
1. I do not make any typing errors any more on the big keyboard.
2. Its bigger screen is easy on my eyes.
3. It still fits in my shirt pocket
THE BAD:
1. It is very slow compared to my previous SII, it hesitates all the time when loading an app.
2. The pen seems to be an uneccesary waste of time.
Would I go back to the SII? No.

I don't know why everyone complains about lagging and being slow. Mine loads just as fast as my buddies S2. And I'm only running it at 1200mhz.
And the stylus rocks. Its not a waste of time. This post is a waste of time.

Really, what is the point of this thread...

The point of this post is to let people with big fingers know that typing errors isa thing of the past and that the phone is slow.

ohh...that's a valuable info...

Haha, very useful information. Thanks?

Maybe your device is slow, however not everyone complains about everything. If you want it faster do something about it. Simple.
My device is PLENTY fast for me. Even running at 1.2. Like I said my fiancee's skyrocket is slower than my device. And my buddies ATT S2 is the same speed. Its NOT slow. So stop trolling.

I general couldn't live without S Pen now. I'm using it very very often (for notes, games, text and other). I never back to mobile with screen less than 5 and without vacuum stylus.

I think the OP is on Gingerbread -- this could be the reason why he is experiencing lag. Admit it or not, GB on the Note is somewhat laggy. A lot of people do claim that their Note is flawless, but having tried almost all the ROMs out there, there is definitely some lag in places.
Having said that, I'm on ICS now. Also, I've tried every ICS ROM and the Note is smooth as butter! On par with the S2.

Yea... Even i had tried many GB ROMs.. N it was laggy wid some ROMs like the lb1 n lb2.. The scrolling wasnt smooth at all...
Any ways usin the lc1 rom now... Which has no such prblms...

Then you should post it in another forum like an iPhone forum. Here we all are already converts to the Note religion!

Gingerbread does lag on the Note, especially when it comes out of sleep. That's a fact. But, that's a minor problem compared to the outstanding device.

Most sites I go to seem fine but XDA in particular, the lag is always present. Not enough to bother me too much though.
True, I am mainly only experiancing it on xda. I might have to use their app.
I'm actually seeing this on a bunch of sites I frequent, this along with some other misc. slowdowns make me anxious for some OS updates... I cannot WAIT for CM and the crew to get going on this thing!

Do you have to do that on your PC...? Me either.
I am seeing a very annoying lag typing into forums like this (and others). 1-2 second lag - very frustrating!
Using the "about:debug" approach to disable OpenGL Rendering seems to address, but I am not clear what we lose in return.
I am also experiancing lag when typing in the browser. I think USAA and Netflix are the worst sites. I just got my xoom so I'm not sure how it was in the past with 3.0 but I think the browser still needs some work. The force closes in the browser are also annoying.

i find it worst on this site, but any site to fill in a form is crazy slow for me off and on, there seems to be no rhyme or reason. It makes editting difficult. Arrow keys would be nice. Lol
I do hve some lag on google talk but nothing like in the browser. So you're not alone
Helped reduce the lag
I disabled the Opengl rendering setting and then enabled the Normal rendering on the browser's Debug setting. Disabling the Opengl prevents the browser from properly playing the flash embedded objects though.
I have also been getting the lag on keyboard its very frustrating as its effectively reducing the productivity of a device that's designed to improve it. I am rather disgusted with Motorola for having the balls to release a device with such a fundamental flaw. I have dropped from 60 wpm to a rather disgustingly low 20 wpm! I have heard using a bluetooth keyboard negates this (can anyone confirm this) but I may aswell have purchased a laptop if I wanted a hard keyboard. I have also been having fun with the copy and paste feature when moving the cursor or actually needing to use it lol.
To fix lag follow these instructions:
Go to XDA
Scroll all the way to the bottom
Switch to XDA Classic instead of XDA 2010
Problem solved on XDA website.
As far as other forums I would imagine you could use an older version of their site.

this is one of my biggest issues with android ... while we get a lot of extra freedom and other stuff, iOS users dont have to deal with this crap because if something was this bad (typing from my xoom right now) I dont think apple would allow it to leave their hands. I love my xoom, I really do, but even almost a year since release, its still not as good (in terms of everything working like it should) than my mom's ipad 2.... just very frustrating to say the least

ICS is the answer. No lag. It's a beautiful thing.
Looking forward to ICS, only the fact the camera is not support stopped me from trying a ROM.
I OWNED a iPad 2, but maybe I am insane because I will never buy Apple products again and even though the Xoom is soon to be dated by the Quad Core Tablets I still find the Xoom better in almost ever way over the iPad 2.

ICS is a dream, well put there sir.
the only true problem is the screen responsiveness but i can live with that as it is the first release.
its super fast, super smooth,at last i have a working browser that loads in the speed of light even the most bad written web pages full of ads which of course i have disabled with adfree and generally its ten times better than any laptop and netbook.
hardware keyboard is so responsive,no lag at all as in the terrible hc and apps load like hell.
i am in love with my tablet at last and yes,now i see why tablets are the future.
with HC i had my tablet closed like for a month....
Some of more "simple" people in this world get more hyped up the longer they wait for something, in the end, there is no way they would be happy with what they end up with, so much so they can't even see the good stuff anymore.
Im in love

After getting ICS today on my TF, I can objectively say that it's nothing to get your panties wet about, and it never was. It's a minor update at best.
Your tablet must have been really badly optimized and cluttered with junk if updating to ICS made it "work like a dream".
If you notice that much of a difference in performance, the problem wasn't the OS. It was you.

thank you (raising hand at the same time)
I must say that I initially was disappointed. I expected a lot of user interface changes and a heap of new functions. But got disappointed when it looked just like before.
But annoying lags are gone, I discover small improvements all the time and I am beginning to really appreciate this update.
My favourite new feature so far is app folders on the desktop.
LWP is useless so the ones getting a slower device because of it is just getting what they deserve. Bling should be on your girlfriends fingers, not on your tablet.
i don`t think ICS is a mayor update, for me it feels more like a polished version of HC, with less of the small annoying lags, and a lot of other small problems are gone. the only thing i would consider mayor about it, is the upgraded browser and the chrome beta. finally two web browsers on my TF which i realy like.

I read somewhere that ICS is supposed to be a major upgrade for phones Android 2.X. Android 3.X is for tablets only. Android 4 is a merge of these two strategies, therefor the changes are bigger for phones than tablets.
I think the article summed up that ICS is a way to bring the Honeycomb upgrade to phones.

Dream Indeed
I have been aboard the android train since my Galaxy s.
Used to run darky's roms then switched to paulforde's 4.2. This already made me feel ICS really is a major update.
Got my EEpad about 3 months ago. And switched to GnuFabio's Revolver rom, which I loved. Yesterday I flashed the Full WW ICS after only wiping cache and Dalvik, booted into ICS, booted into recovery and the installed the update over it. And I must say, this is my best Android experience so far. Especially during swiping through screens I always noticed quite a few frames were being dropped. And occasional keyboard lag.. also sometimes the memory management seemed to play tricks on me from time to time.
But so far this really is feeling like a dream even though my device is running stock and used to run @1.4Ghz. I am loving this !
I'm really digging ICS as well. At first I found it a bit clunky and did have trouble with the screen responsiveness but after a few hours of use it seemed fade away and is now snappier than ever.
My only complaint is with the browser and the backwards step they took removing the ability to change the default User Agent permanently. Same thing with Chrome Beta. Why make a fancy browser only to have it display stuff meant for a 3-5 inch display? I'm not too upset as I'm sure it will be one of the first things they fix in the next major update(s) to ICS.
Maybe i had low expectations, but this update has really impressed me; noticeably faster, not blindingly so, but faster nonetheless eg. the 'recent apps' button - before you'd have a 1-2 delay, now it's instant.
The browser is massively improved, no more blocky rendering when scrolling through xda, no typing lag, no random crashes, much more stable. Other little things you keep noticing: drag 'n drop files in the files manager; ctrl+shift+arrows to select words etc.
Sure, there's nothing earth shattering about ICS - but for me, the transformer now works like I always imagined it should work.
I love ICS also on my tf101!!

HELP! Those of you who came to the Note from an N900...

Well...to be honest i don't know what to say - if you don't like it, you don't like it - you get used to it. Few year ago i was all about physical keyboards, but with introduction of the iPhone i realized it's time to let go. It took me some time but i finally got used to on-screen keyboards - and believe you me, there isn't a single on-screen keyboard that's better than the one on the Note ( the stock ICS / CM9 one, not the TouchWiz crap ).
About the scrolling...what ROM/Browser do you use ? I recommend CM9 with stock browser - super smooth "iphone-like" experience.
been there, done that. i got used to it really fast. the only thing that i'm really missing is the keyboard. i send a ton of text. but u get used to the virtual keyboard by time.
also, my note runs really smooth. i flashed a stock ICS and i'm running latest speedmod kernel.
I came from the n900 and it took a few weeks but you will get there. I missed the keyboard at first but when o use the n900 now I carnt use the hardware keybord , all I can say is stick with it you will grow to love the note and won't want to go to any other phone .
Bit i will say I'm cursed I had the dreaded USB port failure on my n900 several times and now had it on my note so be careful
But the n900 is the only phone I know to survive a 90mph tumble down the road and survive the note isn't as durable get a cover on that screen

Yep, this was my second N900, the first one suffered the dodgy port, was fixed, then broke again, and so I got a brand new one last March. Was fine literally up until about a month ago at the end (luckily) of my holiday, when it wouldn;t switch on. Now if the battery runs out I have to reflash, and the power button does nothing, either when the phone is on off.. Ah well..
It's not so much the general typing, so much as ctrl-x,c,v, and cursor keys to edit text and scroll up/down dialog windows in browsers etc, but after a quick google it seems there's other keyboards with cursor function.
Ctrl+N for a new browser window, or contact was always well handy, and being able to start typing someone's name to bring up their details rather than having to press contacts first...
Also I can't figure out how to use keys to interact with flash in the browser...

At the mo I'm on gingerbread and using the stock browser, literally just got the note today, but keen to delve right in once I'm sure I'll be keeping it. Was well at home in the terminal on the N900, power kernel, overclocking etc, but it all seemed a lot safer - I've seen a lot of threads about people accidentally bricking their Notes...
Just had a little play with some N64 roms, the increased screen size and speed are at least a couple of nice plusses so far...
Trying to find a PSX emulator, ideally free... Again, I think having the N900 spoiled me..

Ah, sweet, maybe I will do the upgrade then, although still a bit nervous as I've heard that even the official Samsung ICS release is not 100% safe?
Or have I just misinterpreted that?
Seems that although flash is working, it is maybe not working as well as under gingerbread...

I came from n900, the second best phone I got after my lovely Note of course!
Yes I did miss the hw keyboard but when I found swype option it was an OMG it is really rally fast for typing, in both case you need two hands, so it is not a problem in this case.
About the browser, on n900 was a real desktop browser with flash included, really great, never missed my laptop under this point of view. But, Note with ICS seems to be good too, didn't test enough but saw an option to turns it as a desktop browser, and we have here last flash version!
If we talk about battery life, n900 loses badly, Note is incredible with batt, longer last, whole working day with some fun included. I just charge my note once a day.
Well I don't remember what other things did like to me on n900, that means I don't miss it yeah!
Ohh the contact manager was better on n900, never had duplicates contacts, the synchronization with social networks was amazing. On Note, after many months with can't handle SNS sync properly, in fact my contact list is a mess
Hope it helps, regards mate!

i came from an n900 as well.
its not too bad once you figure how to get things done.
i still prefer the hardware keyboard on the n900 though since i could feel the keys, so i could type without looking. but after a bit of practice with the note, i got a lot faster (to the point where my note lags, stutters and doubles up on letters). the only thing i'd prefer would be a slightly smaller screen for typing, so i'll probably get a smaller phone next time.
the only thing i really miss from the n900 is the integrated stand. that was useful for when you want to watch movies.

Sure, flash isn't the smoothest and best thing on Android, but it runs and does the job. Stay away from the leaked kernels. ROM's that uses Xplodwild's kernel like CM9 and ParanoidAndroid are safe and won't have the brick bug.
Just read the OP and do some research before you flash anything.
Tedri Mark, if you owed a N900 before that means you like physical keyboard and your best choice after the Note would certainly be the Samsung Captivate Glide which has a 4inch screen and keyboard - some say it's a Galaxy S2 with a keyboard. It's better if you look for some reviews on youtube to get a better idea.
until 2011 n900 was the best phone ver made for me but new phones are really way better then that now. about the physical keyboard, i have phones without physical keyboard for 2 years and still missing it . screen keyboards are ok but not good as physical ones for me.

Definitely, there is nothing better than a physical keyboard for typing! I missed that too.....if samsung could build a 4.5 or 4.8 inch screen phone with same same specs as the S2 + a physical keyboard, personally I'll sell my Note immediately! I emailed a lot daily and typing using a virtual keyboard is a pain when you are in a hurry with a lot of things to write!
Experimenting with browsers at the Mo, struggling to find one that renders the non mobile version of Facebook properly.. Both dolphin hd and ics browser + seem to struggle with the pop up gallery format... Quite annoying, and I'm not keen at all on the cut down versions and apps.
somewhat long read...
well, what you aren't missing is the battery life. It was just ****ty on the N900, and the screensize, and the resolution.
that was a coincidence that you posted it. I have the exact same problem with my conversion from my n900 to a Galaxy Note.
I really really wanted to like the Galaxy Note (i am a linuxfanboy after all for over 12 years)but in all honesty, i don't. I was sad to see such a (in my eyes beautiful) device like the n900 be abandoned by nokia (but that's for another section i guess to QQ) It's not the size that turned me off or the device itself (i love the screensize!), but the way Android works for me. It's just feels cumbersome, sure it can do a LOT of things but most of these things it does "feel" slow at doing, and buggy...
Touchscreen typing in comparison to the N900 feels ... well nothing ofcourse, you don't feel anything at all... a physical keyboard still feels good and better than nothing. Though the onscreen keyboards of android are still way worse than the iPhone keyboard. But I can't get used to this typing. To be fair I think I type faster now on my SGN but that has probably got to do with the fact that I care less about my spelling and 'auto-correct' mistakes. I don't text/mail as much as i used to do only when it's necessary. I don't feel like picking up my SGN if i want to browse anything on the web, games (multitouch anyone?) scrolling is still slow and laggy. Moving around in android is something i do out of neccesity not because i wanted to explore things on my phone like the N900.
Multitasking is badly designed in my eyes on the Android if you set it next to Maemo (CTRL-BACKSPACE for instant satisfaction!). I don't like to push a button for 2 seconds; scroll for the right app and click on the touchscreen and then go to that application; that must be instantaneous to make it really multitasking ready. Clicking the homescreen button; selecting the app on my homescreen feels faster even...).
I try to run the most bleeding edge ICS builds and tirelessly try to convince people (iPhone and Windows)it is better in giving a versatile phone experience(i used the nightlies from CM9) but when they show up with their ****ty iPhones and casually just look up some site and i try to look up the same site. The iPhone is always faster in getting to that specific site; more fluid in scrolling, doesn't fail at sites where it really shouldn't fail (gecko)("never happened before...wait don't go, it's still loading... almost there.. i think"). At the end my friends and i can only look at long youtube movies on my SGN("woah dude your big screen is soo nice! "oops huh did i just turn your SGN off when i hold it in landscape???") but anything other than that, iPhones and even windows phones now gets it done faster and more simple, responsive, less buggy. A year ago when i had the N900, i could look at everything without any of these problems... no mistyping... no workarounds with different browsers...
Cut copy paste... what a joke in comparison to the N900. i'm not even gonna start on that one. Try setting up some commands from the cli on your SGN... pfff (nevermind that %#FG)
Sometimes i'm thinking people are less critical about their phone experience because you only have 3 real choices atm for the newest hardware. android;iOS;winmango. Nokia DNR'd the N900 and their Maemo continuation which was a bad thing but it was a good product and i can't find any of the big companies making something that would remotely resemble the N900. Critical people here, please tell me i'm wrong, i would love to be wrong on this issue.
I'm sad, really sad, that my experience in getting a new (geeky) phone would be great but it's just not. The next level-up for me(android) rolled out a +4 on charisma but i needed the +dexterity and/or +intelligence
Mate, I don´t know if you just ordered a corrupted device...and of course I accept your experiences! But in most parts, I can´t share your points...

Again, made some updates etc? At least MY Note is responsive as hell, VERY fast, scrolling is smooth like butter...and especially browsing is the very best experience I ever had on a smartphone (and man, I had them all )
Came from N900.
But I beta-tested the SGS and DeZire... so got accustomed to Android eventually.
There's somethings you can't do easily or at all. It takes alot of fiddling to get it "right".
But eventually you make it yours. And thanks to a really large ecosystem and other great features... it becomes hard to use the N900 again.
I wouldn't pick the DesireZ over the N900... but with the beast (aka n7k) I feel like its a worthy successor. Just need to pray that Android 4.1 Jelly Bean will use the Mainline kernel (3.5) and that it can be further "unlocked" by having deeper API's etc. One project to keep an eye on is the Necesitas, where they're trying to port the Qt (4/5) framework into Android... it would definitely "linux-ify" Android further. Or even the AML project, merging the mainline and Android kernels together.
I've had my Note for a month, and have reached the point where I would never want to go back to the N900 hardware keyboard. I suggest to learn swype, or try a few of the alternative keyboards. But even the stock Samsung onscreen keyboard is quite good - it saves a lot of time having the numeric keys always available.
The one thing I still miss is the N900's "mappero" mapping app (previously called Maemo Mapper). I've tried all of the available open source Android mapping apps, and they either have a deficient feature set, or they are buggy.
With a new platform, you always notice first the things that are missing compared to your old platform. Only later do you notice the things that are better. And so it is with the mapping app. Having discovered Osmand with its very efficient offline vector maps, I would miss those if I went back to mappero with its raster-only offline maps.
The hardware itself is everything that the N9x0 should have become.

Nowadays, physical keyboards are not a necessity for most of us since typing on a large screen like the Note is even easier. Thing is writting long emails or typing documents on a phone will always required a physical keyboard because this makes things easier to type at a constant speed with less or no mistakes than pressing virtual buttons on the screen.
If HTC or SAMSUNG could make a tilted screen phone with a physical keyboard similar to the 'HTC TOUCH PRO 2' or 'HTC Tilt 2' with a 4.7-5.0 screen, I'm pretty certain that many of us will shift to this phone.
Typing on galaxy note is awesome with Swype, the only thing is you should get used to it, the other big thing is spellings, since Swype will respond faster if you type correct spellings, for me it works like a breeze, for now with just Weeks into my note I'm deeply in love with this device as i surf the Web using wifi,i don't even open my laptop, the screen is just awesome not to mention the spen, I'm typing this using Swype,

This phone definitely has cojones!!

Reason for my post is to say, no lag or stutter while running with a live wallpaper.any other phone including the one s..has lag while multitasking with a live wallpaper..I'm going I made the right choice..do you guys see any lag?

none. this thing rocks. data speeds on 3g are sweet too. I used to get about 700kbps on my s2, about 100kbps on my iphone4s, but on this thing I consistently get about 1.5mbps.
I upgraded from an infuse (a sgs 1 variant) and all I can say is wow! This thing is a beast. Areas where I used to drop calls are no longer an issue, WiFi is solid, standard speeds at my home jumped from 2.5mbps to 3.5mbps and I have gotten lte up to 30+mbps.
This phone is simply amazing... multi tasks like a boss, and battery life so far seems better than I could ever wish for on the infuse... and I'm still UN rooted all that bloatware still pin the phone, so I can't imagine how it will be once I dig in to this.
Played shadow gun yesterday, and it runs flawlessly, I usually play on my tablet (tf101) by this looked and operated perfectly.
Im going to check out some more games later in the week when I have time.
Ultimately, this is by far the best phone I ever had, I can't wait too see what comes out next, topping this one will be difficult. JB is going to be sweet, im ready for a little project butter on my phone.

Do you guys have an SMS thread with a bunch of messages? Try scrolling through that. Like...fling from the botton to top...or vice versa. There's lag.
Besides that...any lag/stutter I see is so minimal...that it's just nit pickin'! :cyclops: (oh...when you pull down the notifications...the automatic toggle animation...was smooth the first day...but now, even with a reboot...I see a bit of stutter...very minimal...but, like I said...it's nit pickin')

Worst JB any company will ever release.

I am using note from last 1 year. Used GB for six months then upgraded to ICS.
I am always FAN of Stock TW look.
But this time: SAMSUNG crossed limit by releasing worst, ugliest, laggy, slowest JB firmware.
When I tried JB leak in FEB. I thought that this is not ready and samsung will work on it and will clean it by little more makeup.
But bloody sammy released it as it was. I mean no cleanliness, no smoothness, no quickness.
I can feel the slow response of apps opening and closing which I never felt in ICS.
Even battery drains like HELL.
I am reverting back to ICS. I like quickness of ICS. I am not a heavy user.
I disable few apps or bloatware I don't use and ICS works awesome.
Your views.
Maybe you do not know how to make clean flash...

JB is good for me..
Battery , smoothness, stability( with latest kernels)..
<<<The CRACKS on my NOTE shows how often it KISSES the FLOOR>>>
its very smooth in my note.even app transitions are awesome but there is lag in gallery.
Agree, battery drains like hell, many lag, hot issue... i will never buy a sammy device again

Kinda harsh language, but I must agree:
- it's slow, at least Germany stock (maybe because I did only factory reset, still Ultimate ROM is incredibly smooth)
- S Note is a joke (laggy and for the reason below)
- S Memo is missing and there's no Page widget - I looked at my Note's box, there's a neat picture of the phone there, it has 3 Memo widgets on it... WHAT THE HELL SAMMY? Why you delete a feature you advertise on box without giving any substitute?
- battery life is worse, on ICS using WiFi didn't make any significant changes to usage time, on JB WiFi drains battery like crazy
- its general appearance is bad (ugly icons, switches etc but it matters the least)
- it's just quick mashup port of Note II's/GSIII's ROM, but that's the biggest advantage of it - airview, multiwindow, ink effect and other stuff work without sweat
I'll be using Ultimate for some time, but I'll probably return to ICS, few features I like doesn't compensate for stuff I miss or hate

Bloody idiots. They miss ******* simple things.
the multitask and battery life for me makes all the difference, jb is a keeper they made touchwizz my favorite. The additional mods, with clean install and no recovery of app+data do the trick for me.
maybe you guys have rogue apps or something. Check you logcats
cm is really really awesome to, my fav vanilla flavour, but those touchwizz features wootwoot. I get same free mem after bloatware remove on touch as on cm.
Agree with this thread worst software update ever. Intead it should be considered as a downgrade in software quality very much unsatisfied this time

It's true, I am the software.
It's not sooooooo bad after all, battery really drains fast but the ROM is quite normal i think.
I really like TouchWiz because we have some features like Multi-Window, S Note, Fully integration with the S Pen, etc.
Always wanted to use pure Android(CM and others) but i would miss the way to organize the apps on the Drawer as i want and they aren't non-Wiping ROMs, once that all these features are included on a ROM i would be free from Samsung ****ty updates.
Better an resonable Jelly Bean than no Jelly Bean.

I actually like the appearance of the new icons/weather themes/wallpaper, that's why I was so looking forward to this release. But I agree with you guys, it sucked. When I bought my Note with 4.0.4, the impression it I got from it was the same as the Note II with TW UX gave me: smooooooth! I updated my Note officially through Kies, so I'm sure nothing went wrong in the 'flashing' process. I've also done a factory reset. But everything else lags except for home screen transitions, it's kind of a disappointment. S Note, Camera, Contacts take at least 4-5 seconds to load. Music player has stutters in music playback. There's a delay when using the S Pen.
But now I've moved onto a custom ROM, and it's keeping me really happy.
It's 50:50

First of all I don't care about back up. So forget about it.
Secondly, I was using ICS with philz kernel. I did all 3 wipes and then wiped preload which says now install newROM.
Then I installed original ICS using PC odin. Then I updated JB using KIES. Then I reset internal memory by using factory reset.
If you think that this process is not good enough: then please come to india, new delhi and do it for me you moaner.
Hope every one who wants to say that full wipe do the trick. Please read this post.
My brother bought iphone 5 2 weeks back. I was the one who was insisting that he should not by iphone rather by android because of few OS limitation of bluetooth and no card slot.. But luckily he bought IPHONE. And now I feeel guilty that why I was insisting on android if this the quality.
I bought sony xperia for my father with A7 cortex processor which is lower than what note has. But guys believe me. Smoothness of that phone is way beyond our note. We cannot even expect that from crappy sammy.
I will never buy sammy again. Apple or sony will be the preference

Agree with you bro. same story with me but the difference is that my friend bought an iphone.. Although it is not big as note but the plus point is that it never lags for me the next change is gonna be a iphone 5s
Ps: when you paid $600 or Inr 32000 for a phone you atleast expect that the phone should not hang.. I am very much disappointed with jellybean
