Custom Kernel for x8

I can not find any custom kernel! Why? Custom kernel is impossible for x8??other models have a lot of custom kernel's.
Please help me !

You can't find any custom kernels because the X8's bootloader hasn't been bypassed yet. Just be patient...

they're both optimized for the respective roms... but u can try them both out and see which suits u better.
flashing kernel only takes a few seconds
also i think it's safe to assume that nAa's kernels will have the latest features at all times

Used Alfs 07 ics kernel, and it's good on Fde 2.4.3 (GC Based)
Notepinion maybe different.

since i don't OC my phone and i'm not using the "ICS" version so there really isn't much of a diff with v6. he did add a 691mhz to the oc list tho...

Im using ICS AlfsKernel and GDX with MiniCM GPU libs and I have maybe 10% boost in performances in overvall. Performaces are pretty similar in NaAs kernel and in Alfs. However I prefer Alfs because Im using GDX.

nAa kernel 10 have graphic performance issue.
But overall performance is 1.5 to 2 faster than any other kernel
And this is very appreciable.

Okay now, i see everyone's opinion...
Now, if you can, give me some benchmark score screenshots..

*facepalm* if you have nothing nice to say, then dont. Dont diss developers hard work. As to answer the thread, i prefer alfs better oc and performance. nAa kernel didnt really suit me. Felt a bit...ummm....unfinished ?

Idk, it just felt very beta-ish and unstable for me...idk about others tho but i still have high respect for nAa his work isnt smth to be taken lightly

It should be able to work cuz gdx users had to steal libs from minicm 2.1.8 for it to worl

Since x8 is primary & only one me had,me using 2.3.7.If me got 2 phones me will use ICS on this one

im a noob but learning fast, im running minicm9 on my x8, i think ics is wicked even without a working cam, can be a bit sticky now and then but a sound rom all in all.
the thing im stuck on is this other ics thats out, AOKP | Build 34.1 | nAa-ics kernel 01, it was built for x8 it seems but when you follow the download link it doesnt have zip for x8 but has all other phones, im a little confused can anyone help plz, where can i download the right rom for xperia x8

Now using Android 2.3, Gingerbread a.k.a GingerDX. Lemme tell you guys, MAJORITY PEOPLE use GB. Correct me if I am wrong.

You have probabely gone to official aokp site....check under "DOWNLOADS" on "xda"

So guys what was your first custom rom that you flashed?

Mine was MiniCM6

Mine was a vesion of CM7 Hackdroid by racht. I had no idea what I was doing...I just wanted the CRT animation...

As flash-a-rom-freak, i had a lot of "first roms" but i know who amazing the early versions of rachts froyo were, because everyday was a update or news

As i remember it was the very early stages of racht's famous "floyo" it was fun back then updated nearly everyday and you was waiting for the updates. Now we have fully working 2.2 and 2.3 and nearly fully working 4.0 and im kinda "not waiting" for more updates because i have everything i want from it. I know i bought a cheap low end phone and i think everything is done what should be done.

[ROM] BehradGH Rom Series | 2.1.1| was my first ROM, Floyo 0.20 was my second ROM

GingerXperia V5 was my first ROM

I'm pretty much new in the Android world. My LG Optimus x2 came with froyo2. 2 and to be honest I was not impressed. But I knew that ics was out there already. So first rom I upgraded was gingerbread and then cm7. But I think my first nightly rom was nova hd based on ics and start flashing almost every day. Til now keep flashing kangs, my LG o2x has been much fun, fast and always up to date.

the first really stable froyo rom -> MiniCM6

Salsa Sense 0.15...

Today i tryed after all Custom kernels , just me , stock kernel and sense
This rom is old but smooth , and ram is normal , about 75mb free when running all HTC goodies ;D
And i just think , now we have kernels , tweaks etc , so we can made this rom better , for like nAa kernel , and remove all unneeded apps , old libs , update apps , fix wifi , fix network net , root acces and sd is safe to remove bug , now we can do it , why not? Sense UI is so beautiful
And again i will say , the rom is fast as hell , even on stock , just imagine how it will work fixed and with all new tweaks on custom kernel!?
I think you get my idea , so , i dont have knowagles to fix it , but maybe someone who can and love sense like me, will do it?

I remember that the problem was that the X8 has to small internal memory to store all libs and apps on, so I think porting sense will fail again.
But maybe im wrong

I was try to port sense to xperia x8. But i stop coz we need to port ram disk form sense.

Is there any module to fake RAM in SD like swapper do?
or something we can use SD as internal memory as well?

Today i was tryed to fix some things with salsa sense 4.0 port , i cant get it on homescreen , but bootanimation is working very well even on stock Replace all apps of it and add all new libs what is not on old salsa 0.15...
And about RAMDISK , it hard to port ? and in salsa sense its on rom , that mean its ported? or just soft moded to get boot?

Ramdisk is a part of kernel and yes, it's difficult for us, normal users.
