You don't need to touch to settings. All are ready for gaming. That's the main goal of rom. Rom is pre-ready.
Just swipe up on homescreen and clear memory. And play.

[Q] Help with several issues!

Hi! I have some questions, hope there's someone that can answer them:
- Anyone knows if doing overclocking to the Wildfire it runs PSX games on psx4droid smoothly?
- If I run LauncherPro it means that Sense is running at the same time and consuming more battery?
- How can I access to recovery mode? And how I can flash a .zip to install an app? (Not ROOT)
Thanks for your help!
I would also like know this. When i use launcherpro+ it feels like battery is running out faster :/

1 - not sure
2- yes sense will still run
3- not possible
It won't consume more battery. At least I didn't notice when I was using wildpuzzle.

[Q] underclock

hello,
1. Is there a way to underclock the play on specific apps?
2. Can I use SetCPU to underclock the play without custom kernel?
thanks ^^

For question 2 yes you can. Remember you need root.
okay! thanks!
but I really want to underclock my play when I use some apps...
Afaik you can't underclock specific apps, what you can do is to make profiles in setcpu and activate them when using those apps you want underclocked.

So, I hope anybody can me pls give an Tutorial which tells me, how I can play HD Games without any lags...

Yeah, man thanks...I think my battery has full life by overclocking
But...I've got a question...
Also...If I start SetCPU...I change the Max CPU to 748 Mhz
So...on the right side at the top, there is an option which is called: Scaling.
What is the best scaling for Games?
Is there a CUstom Scaling for Games which I can install?

OneLess, don't use Undervolt module with Overclock module, because they can't work together (undervolt take voltage down... when you use overclock, the higher frequency you get, the higher voltage is... so that's the problem)
U can use modified Overclock module from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1276580 With this module u can set the frequency even to 800Mhz... u have to try the best frequency
To Overcklock u can use SetCPU
To eliminate lags (but not in 100%) u can use The Best RAM Optimization (aka Juwe script - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=14446249&postcount=1) and MDDI Lags fix (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1053587)... DualTouch (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1135965) can help in some games, too)
To increase battery life u can use ax8_smartass module (module for overclocked X8's - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1159899) and do this:
1)Download "Battery Calibration"
2)Before charging - reboot, xRevorery, wipe battery stats
3)Open "Battery Calibration"
4)Follow the inside instructions
On my X8: In SetCPU there's possiblity to create "profles" ... I have created profile which takes frequency to minimum (122Mhz) with each screen off and set "powersave scaling"... I thinks it helps my battery

You are wrong. They can be used together, but this does not make any sense, because overclock module is already undervolted, and overclock module don't change voltage on higher frequencies

GDX v21 new installation

Hi guy,
after a new installation of gdx v21 in my x8 without any problem, I need your help for minor but (imho ) important problems.
1. how can I disable camera and boot sounds?
2. after one day of intense use for obvious configuration, I think to have a good battery life. Could you suggest a good app to improve this feature? I installed advanced task manager but it didn' worked so well like with Froyopro v1.1
3. I'm seeing only widgets of gdx installation. I installed various app (es advanced task manager) but widget wasn't on list. How can I solve?
Thanks a lot for your patience.
Bye

Solutions:
1. To disable Camera sounds, go to settings, to Cyanogenmod settings, to sounds. To disable boot sound, open Root Explorer, go to system, to media, and you will see one music file there, delete it and you are done.
2. I think you should activate Screen off profile using SetCPU.
3. Don't move the apps you installed to SD card if you want to use widgets.

camera shooter disable in cyanogen settings
for better battery life use custom kernel like alfs
Batter life.
Disable Wi-fi,Bluetooth stuff like that.
Set a max and min frq for the CPU
Im like 650 and 122 and there is no problem.
Also App Killer.
Still i can use it for a day or two.
But i charge frequently also!
Thanks to all and particularly to lucastan96. I used all your suggestion and in a single day, I have surely a battery life better than Froyopro (now I'm sure): with more than one hour of calling and one hour of 3g browsing, I still have 55% of battery. And the phone is very very stable. Thanks again for your help.
Always glad to help, Mantaor!

Best is to flash full latest Wanamlite <rom and the check results. Not ONLY the kernel!
I wish you it is not HW related. Have a camspeed test (free app at playstore).
Do you have HDR on, if so turn it off. HDR needs 3 exposures (think of it as 3 shots) ; it WILL therefore lag.

nope is the Auto mode only.
i guess is something to do with the memory hogging , making the cam app to open bit slow
few times i tried to clear memory open it would open fast ...
but need some more better solution
I have the same problem, anything that related to the camera app like flashlight apps get my phone stuck
and need a lot of time to open,
I have the last Wanamlite version (1.8) with ADAM KERNAL.
someone can help me?

I also got this issue with the ram memory when it is very low (less than 100Mb free) camera doesn't either fully start!!!
Then I rebooted got a full 1Gb free and a perfect camera back!
RAm management is not really perfect on this device!
