Serious Problem with my phone

hi i used the topic CLEAN AND ROOTED ROM ... I installed 2.1 with root and app2sd ... when i enabled JIT my phone is not booting and stop and the sony ericsson... i flashed to 1.6 and 2.1 version and it has not differences ( what should i DO?? i want my phone back (

How long u waited for the phone to boot? Did u see the green logo?

You should first install JIT then Xrecovery (optional) then at the last step app2sd .
I use this method for hundred times and there was no problem .....
I suggest you to update to Rooted latest firmware 2.0.2.A.0.24 SI:1241-5072 :

it's a ttf file and 3 lib file that you must copy them to your font and lib folder in system.
Infact you need a 2.1 rooted device to use that.

[GUIDE] araBic support for android users (NAND + SD) v0.1 Beta testing

Dear Mates ,
after along time with the araBic support issue , and low support from the cooker Because of their low araBic support experience , i put in your hands my Guide to use the araBic reading as possiBle as you can ..
if you are using a NAND Desire HD ROM "it's not yet araBized"​
Below you can find the steps :
1. download the needed files from MeDiaFire
"just choose your Build"
2. extract it to an empty folder on your PC
3. move this folder on anywhere on your SD card
4. flash your Desired Build on your HTC-HD2 "LEO"
5. use the root explorer to move these data to it's new locations
a. DroidSansArabic .. to the destination .. system/fonts .. and accept replacements .. restart your device ..
b. libwebcore.so .. to the destination .. system\lib .. and accept replacements .. restart your device ..
c. ibskia.so .. to the destination .. system\lib .. and accept replacements .. restart your device ..
6. if your device is not rooted or you you have a proBlem with superuser to give the root explorer the proper permissions .. so install the z4root .. and make a permanent root ..
7. now you can read araBic .. to write you can try the Smart keyBoard
note :
1. waiting for your feedBack aBout this method and if it's helpfull to continue ..
2. your default android Browser will not work .. i'm using Dolphin Browser HD
3. For those people having trouble replacing the lib files for arabic support, use temporary root instead of permanent root in Z4root

Download the Desire Arabic support, copy all the files as instructed and then Restart.
Try it again...

Im running exactly the same build as you, "DFT Leo Stock Desire NAND" and im having no problems at all. Try reflashing the ROM again.

Im running The DFT NAND Build and copied the arabic support files without any problems. Try reflashing.
N.B The pictures in post #2 are from my device running DFT NAND Android

I did it actually for DFT Rom "Stock Desire Rom" using the mentioned steps.
I think you have one of the following problems
1. You didn't copy the files correctly (Please Redo it)
2. you copy correctly but the system doesn't do the copy on the system (check the modified date of the files on the laptop and on the android if they are not similar i mean the difference in modified date is more than 1 day (there should be difference like 3 hours only) so you have a rooting + super user problem for sure
I've actually used super user from market and Z4root from the Forum to root the device and File Expert from Market to copy the files.
Please update me if you still have a problem

What we really need is for the Arabic libs to be cooked in before flashing, either by the cook or by us. That way we can even use a framework.jar with RTL support.
I could edit system.ext2 files using Linux for SD build, but I don't know if the same way will work for unpacking/repacking the system.img files for NAND roms (didn't try it because I don't have time, plus I currently don't have Linux).
Can anyone help with this?

For those people having trouble replacing the lib files for arabic support on the "DFT Leo Desire NAND" flash your rom again and then use temporary root instead of permanent root in Z4root. This method is for this ROM only cause there is a problem with its root. I tried it my self and it worked.

when we have a clear method to araBize the NAND ROMs , so we can contact the cookers ..

when i tried the other method the system stick on the dft screen and never bass it

This IS pretty much as close as we can get to a 2.2.1 CAPTIVATE ROM , based on its little Chinese cousin i9088 , there is ABSOLUTELY no reason to run an OUTDATED 2.2 rom on your phone anymore !
In order to see your contacts Name/ Pictures during incoming calls :
You need to add ' +1 ' in front of every number , if your like me and your lazy you can use Number fixer to 'bulk fix your contacts

works fine here .. I have over 100 apps .. worked fine all week actually ..
I suggest you reflash or make sure your back up are not somehow corrupted ..

i create this patch for fixing rtl lang (Persian&Arabic)
this patch include:
dodex (framework & apk)+busybox+root
RTL FIX
costum fonts
delete some apps (like google maps/youtube/....)
add parfield keyboard (that has persian & arabic support)
+cyanogen theme without cm7 bootanimation(tnx tr.supradeep)(for the base topic)
1:before installation this patch.hard reset ur phone

3:after installation hard reset your sga

Well , Thanks to Mr.Sasan's effort , I had installed it on 2.3.4 KPH and walla ! No result , It stucks at the start up screen and the phone will never be up , I forced to flash my SGA several times and at least I decided to wait until Persian and Arabic release of Gingerbread will come up , I reported this problem in Mobilestan Forum , but there was no response from Mr.Sasan but I hope you can find a way to solve this up .

It's an almost stock themed rom ( based on B026 ) which i delete some trashapps and the HWauncher , BUT includes all of my modds , some files from B041 and a NEW build.prop , also i change the battery icon on statusbar and add Nemus launcher.

do the first steps .........
when you finished with the first step ,, update app (1,11mb),,, phone reboots ,,,,,,,
right after first reboot
pull out battery
pull out sd card
delete the ,, update app (1,11mb) ,, from ,dload, folder and copy the other ,, update app (255mb) ,, inside the ,dload, folder
insert sd card
insert battery
and do as you did with first step, ( vol+ ,vol- ,power on )
when it finished ,the phone will reboot (dont worry ,it needs some more time to boot) on stock 2.2.2 firmware
After that you can install recovery.img(5.0.2.7) via pink screen
Boot into recovery
Do the wipes
And flash the latest Horse version above

yes you can follow the first post ,,, and friend , marios said that you must not use a big sd card ( 16 gb ) for downgrade ....
you better use a 2 gb sd card or less .....

still work ?
try to restart from "step 1" (repeat the downgrade procedure, I assume that you have downloaded the "downgrade pack" )
when I have tried to downgrade got some failure
fortunately the phone doesn't "bricked"
for these first attempts I've used a 16Gb MicroSD
and on the phone display there is still the message
"upgrading - please wait does not turn off"
after some minutes I've removed the battery and the phone was still able to start with "VOL+ VOL- POWER ON"
failed again
at the end I've used a 2GB MIcroSD and all is gone fine

What is better, this rom or gingerbread 540?

Now I'm the last Russian ...
To try again?
I do not know ... everything that we have done as written in post 1.

When installed Step 1 ... and my only start and then stuck .... after 15 seconds.
Nothing I could do ... except that Russian ...
Now is working ... no problem ...
