on this rom Persian and Arabic words
are not display .We solve this problem
with coby a Unicode font with support
these two languages on your ROM.
now words is displaying.but The words
are shown separately.web browser in
addition to these words from left to
right are shown.
NOTE: In this two languages ,words are
from right to left and are also attached.
in rom wwe 1 .6 arabic this problem is
solved but bluetooth not working .
we have request you for solve this
problem because on this Rom everything work.

plz fyodor, i'm iranian too and i really love your "fyodor-aosp-tattoo_v0.6.4.2" ROM but i got problem with it's language, plz add arabic/persian language to it like vantom 1.2!

I know it may be a good ROM, but Vantoman's ROM is arabic.

bluetooth doesn't work beacause of SENSE UI in vantom rom
Nope, the bluetooth problem is in the Android 1.6. Chtlhu's ROM is 1.6 and bluetooth file transport works.
Ask Chtlhu, maybe he has the code.
i installed chlthu 1.7.how can send and reserve files?

no man, the problem is htc framework and its sense ui!!! bluetooth works in Xperia x10 with android 1.6

my friend i installed blutooth file transfer.apk in chthu 1.7 but cant transfer files!help me plz
i thing for add this langs tho this rom most edit this files:

and
libskiagl.so
i tested kalim's rom and this supported arabic and persian langs.

I select file and choice (send via bluetooth)in bluletooth file transfer.apk
but
when i click on finded device give this erorr (in 1,7 and 2):
can't start "object push profile"
(obex pop) service search search
reason
return valus is "fals"
are you test this two roms ?and are you can transfer file with bt ?
I do a full wipe before flashing
Guess you will have to flash 2.0.

i'm very dissapointed from the developing of our great device ,and i think the one who blames most, is huawei...
why huawei released u8800 pro with froyo 2.2,and after a while started to release those buggy gingerbread updates ???
why huawei dont waiting to release u8800 pro with gingerbread 2.3.5 ???
why huawei after almost 5 months of b512 released,cannot still make a non bugs release ???
and as a result of these ,is that we dont have any custom rom for .32 kernel,as users of u8800 has a variety of custom roms for .32 kernel to used
and until huawei make a real stable gingerbread release i decide to tell you what i did,to official 2.2.2 froyo release to make it real fast and with great functionality...
first of all i would like to thank:

LETS GO
1.download and install cwm recovery 5.0.2.7 from here (via pink screen )

then press and hold ,vol+ and power on, to boot into recovery
choose the option "backup and restore" and do a "backup"
2.for rooting ,follow this guide

download superoneclick v2.2 from here

4.download and install .32 o/c kernel,from here

download the .32 kernel and enhanced.conf and place them as genocolar explains
5.if you dont have busybox installed ,download busybox installer from market and install busybox v1.19.3
6.download the 2.2.2.MOD_folder.zip ,from here

7.UNZIP the 2.2.2.MOD_folder.zip and you will find a folder called "system"
inside the system folder you will find three folders ("etc","framework" and "lib") ,and a "build.prop"....
put "system" folder somewhere in your sd card(wherever you like)
8.now use root explorer and open your sd card and go to where you put the "system" folder,then open the "etc" folder and you will find the "init.d" folder,copy the "init.d" folder and paste it ,as it is, in ,system/etc ,,then open init.d and give to all archives you'll see inside ,one by one ,permissions (rwxrwxrwx)
go again to your sd card and open now the "framework" folder and you'll find "framework.jar",copy this and paste it(replace) to ,system/framework and give permissions (rw-r--r--)
back again to sd and now copy "build.prop",and paste it to, system (before paste the modified "build.prop",,rename the original "build.prop" to "build.prop.bak") and give permissions (rw-r--r--)
then reboot your phone
you'll have to wait a bit longer(2-3 minutes) to boot again but dont worry,just wait...
then open root explorer again and open your sd card and go to where you put the "system" folder and open now "lib" folder,copy "libsqlite.so" and paste it (replace) to ,system/lib ,give permissions (rw-r--r--)....the phone gonna turns off and on by itself..put your pin numper and enjoy your new phone
i'm not responsible for anything bad happens to your phone...in my area a lot of people using this mod without any bugs...
HAVE ALWAYS A NANDROID BACKUP IN YOUR SD CARD BEFORE TRYING THESE MODDS

Are you greek ??
If you're from greece , we have the steps , in a greek forum....
Unfortunately you cannot downgrade to wind's rom ,, but you can downgrade , to official germany 2.2.2 rom ...
It has greek language , but no greek keyboard ( this is not a problem )..
Just two days ago a friend found a way to go back , from kalo's rom to 2.2.2 ,, he tested those mods and told me that its the fastest and most functional rom untill now ....
You'll never found ,not a single bug..
But give me some time to find the links , cause i'm at work right now..
PS
I stayed here , because i saw that the development of our phones , really sucks....
The most reliable rom of all , is kalo's rom , and i suggested it to all friends who upgrades....
But if you like to test also the modded stock 2.2.2 rom , then give me some time to found the links...

my phone is from Vodafone Italy and in the original ROM there was some in-utility!! + unwanted "logos" and animation
unbearable disappointments
I can understand if "Vodafone gives me a great phone for free but I can only use this phone with Vodafone"
(once the italian vodafone rom was on Huawei site but it's disappeared very fast and seems that no one has downloaded and stored it )
but the smartphone (not supported) is sold at 199 €
The german stock 2.2.2 rom has all languages ,, but the problem was on keyboard languages because dont have greek lang.....
Italian and spanish languages existing and at keyboard ,, you'll not have any problems with italian and spanish ..... the problem was with greek lang... and you'll have to download a greek keyboard ....
So you dont have any problems with your languages ...

Mario , i think that you're not gonna have any problems with vodafone ,,,, because the same thing is happening in greece but with Wind , not vodafone as you have it in italy...... and at the same price ( 199€)

HOW TO GET BACK TO FROYO
a guide (.pdf), and a special package to return to froyo.....

you will found , a .pdf guide
do the first steps .........
when you finished with the first step ,, update app (1,11mb),,, phone reboots ,,,,,,,
right after first reboot
pull out battery
pull out sd card
delete the ,, update app (1,11mb) ,, from ,dload, folder and copy the other ,, update app (255mb) ,, inside the ,dload, folder
insert sd card
insert battery
and do as you did with first step, ( vol+ ,vol- ,power on )
when it finished ,the phone will reboot (dont worry ,it needs some more time to boot) on stock 2.2.2 firmware
after that follow the proccedure , described in the first post
BEWARE
YOU CANNOT FLASH ANY ROM , OVER THE STOCK 2.2.2 FIRMWARE , AND EVEN YOU CANNOT RESTORE THE BACKUPS YOU HAVE, FROM ANY OTHER ROM , DON'T GONNA WORKS
IF YOU WANT TO FLASH A ROM OR RESTORE A BACKUP , YOU'LL HAVE TO UPGRADE AGAIN TO AN OFFICIAL 2.3.5 FIRMWARE

a friend who did it ,, told me that before launch the first step ,he did a full wipe from recovery ( data, cache ,dalvik cache ),, then pulled out the battery , and inserted the sd card with ,, dload ,, folder ( the .pdf guide didn't tells that , so do as you wish )

probably you can use the firmware that you alleady have downloaded , after you finish with the first step ,because if you saw inside the .pdf , you'll find that the lithouanian firmware is very similar with italian ( take a look and , do as you wish )
allso , if you like , you can upload the firmware you allready have ,on mediafire or wherever you like , so we'll have two stock 2.2 firmwares ( because as you see ,its very difficult to find a 2.2 firmware to download )

but i think in greece you dont gonna have any problems with warranty even if you have one of the official 2.3.5 firmwares ( 512,540,552,572 )

Another problem using custom rom is related to APN
If I use my "3" sim the APN is automatically dected but when I insert TIM sim (Telecom Italia mobile) the phone automatically set some wrong APN

I know that , custom roms has a variety of problems , not only this one ......
I was reading for a week before i bought this phone and as i see that many people has problems with custom roms and official roms , so i decided to stay with the 2.2.2 firmware and modified as i wanted and did some theming also ,, and the results was great .....
the most serious work for our phones , made by , kalo , and we have to admitt that,,,, if we're not having , kalo , then the things will be even worst ....
as you see we dont have any devs , working for our phones ,, except kalo

I'm a little strange with phones, l want all functions of my phone working properly , and not having issues , that's why i'm staying here.......

I have another question for you
if you have some experience with UMTS radio signal and the need to lock the phone on 2G or 3G...
I must lock my phones on 3G for various reason
every phone worked well and slightly at the same way ( from LG with proprietary software to Nokia Symbian and Samsung with Android )
I mean that if the phone is placed on my desk the signal is always very low but stable ( 3G )
the things changed with the U8800Pro (tried only with custom rom )
placed on my desk at the usual place I'm "unreacheable"
the only way that I can follow is to move the phone near to the window
once it's registered to the network I can place it on my desk but the signal can be easily lost. This is the 1st phone with "3G" signal problem on my desk
also very cheap phones have always worked well
I hope that 2.2 original rom can fix this

I'm trying to downgrade...but now from 10 minutes the phone showing "Firmware update - step 2/2 - Installing - Do not turn off the device" (1st step )
Mario ,, i don't have such a problem , neither with 3g nor with apn ,, so i can't help you further on this , i'm sorry.....
Also for downgrade , i don't now further , cause i'm still in 2.2 .....
But a friend who did it , said that , don't have any problems with the steps .....
The guide is exactly as he did it ...
Edit ....
Try to boot into recovery and do a full wipe ( data,cache ,dalvik , format system )......
Try also , to do the steps like that...
Put the sd card and battery and connect usb cable and start the downgrade ..... or try to do the steps without battery and only via usb cable ....

first step is with the smaller file.it should be only few seconds.you must put only one file first and when this finish you delete this file and put the other file(the bigger).not rename the file
