I wanted to buy a Game that was on sale for .50 but it kept saying purchased so I uninstalled and reinstalled the market and google frameworks after trying everything else but now my market app force closes everytime I try to open it :/ anyone had a similar problem and know how to fix it? I don't want to use pirated versions of my purchased apps because I can't access them legally

Did you try to flash gapps again?
Yes I uninstalled and reinstalled google frameworks and market but after linking my google account Market force closes the second I try to open it can anyone offer a possible solution to this it's really getting annoying since it tries to open itself while I'm playing games and pops up the force close window.

On cm7 you don't install the frameworks those are already. There the frameworks install is to get market on the rooted stock kindle rom

What should I do then? Reflash the cm7 ROM?
Sent from my Kindle Fire using XDA Premium App
There's probably no need to reflash. The market keeps track of purchased apps so you can d/l later. Try opening the Market app and press the downloads icon to see if your game is there. If the market says its purchased then it should be there.
As for your market app, just flash gapps again through twrp or cwm. The old files should be overwritten and the problem fixed...probably.

Just login to google, go to play.google.com, and type in your games name. It happened to me, and it works every time.

Does anybody know how to manage the apps that lithium and cyanogen pull from my Google account to install? When I install the Roms fresh and login and open the market they start pulling down old apps I don't use anymore. How do I make Google forget those old ones?

I have just uninstalled them and the next time i install a rom it doesn't download it anymore. Are you letting it download and uninstalling it or just cancelling the download?
I really wish we had more control over what apps are stored on the cloud

I haven't had this problem yet on my tablet, but have with other android. Best solution I can come up with is to go to market and find the app and uninstall it from there... than reinstall it...
I would try that but I am trying to install it first! Its weird because Acer said that human atlas hd works on the a500. I have the Dexter 3.1 leak which means it should be I the market right? But its not there.

I just bought gta3 today on the market (4.99) but all it does is go through the opening credits then takes me back to my phones homescreen. Wondering if anyone else with a vibrant has tried the game and can tell me your experience? Running cm7 with glitch kernel

Since it's new, it's only working on phones/tablets with dualcore processors right now
newb post for dev cred
nothing to see here
Guys new 1.1 release for powervr sgx540 is available!
It's still not compatible with the Vibrant. I haven't messed with chainfire3d yet but I wish they'd get this game going on the Vibrant
Well, people are playin it on Huawei X5 and SE Neo for example, so i guess it should work to us.
I'm just having a problem, since i can't download the game content :S
Already downloaded 21%, but when i try to resume it it always says to me that there is no active internet connection before reaching 30%.
Any ideas? :\ Can it be because of the modem or something?
Currently running Private Stock ROM 2.2.1 with stock kernel/modem.
Help? :S
Mine downloaded right up but even though I bought it I can no longer see it in the market

You've tried getting it on your phone, then sideloading the apk from there? That's how I get apps that aren't compatible. This is how I do it: get titanium backup pro (worth the money and you'll use it for more than just this use) and dropbox (free), download the app to your phone, navigate to the app in tibu and long press the app. Select send this backup, send to dropbox. Get dropbox on kindle also, open on kindle and extract the saved apk.

If not compatability do the MAWR OPEN thread GT-1900. CM7 and d/ld and played last night from the Android Market.

Nope this does not work. But I am on MIUI. Don't know if that makes a difference.
It installs and works fine for me on CM7 with a mortified build.prop file.
If I put ICS on my Kindle, how do I get 4.0 specific apps on there? Right now I use my android phone that runs 2.3 to access the play store, then I backup and install on the fire.
I dont think my ZTE99 phone can run ICS but if it can, will Google Play recognize this and allow me to download ICS apps?
what apps are u referring to?

If you put ICS on your Kindle, you'd need to flash the Google Apps which will give you the Play Store. So you wouldn't have to deal with the backing up mess.
Google won't let you download apps designed for ICS on older OS versions. Nor will it let you install them.

All the apps in the play store that say "Not available for your device" My cell phone runs 2.3. A lot of these gingerbread apps wont work on ICS. Source: user reviews for just about every gingerbread app.

Yeah I know. I thought there was a work-around or some sort of app repository that no one discusses in the open.
Why use some shady repository when you can get it from the play store?
I use this sometimes. Not sure if it is considered shady or not. Only found out about it in order to get google maps onto my stock fire.

If you install CM9, then you can just download anything from the Play store as your device will be treated just like a standard Android tablet.

I know im a bit late for the party, but i use this site ( http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/Latest_Version/Google_Apps) to install the playstore. It has a list of the different cyanogenmods and which gapps is best for it. Just download, then install with twrp. Reboot and download whatever you want from the playstore. Some apps say that you cant install them, do to you device and others because of your location. I dont know how to fix the local one. But with your device, check out this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cssyIE4maZY
Of course he is talking about getting games to run, but its the same with accessing apps on the market.

That is because a lot of those apps use frameworks/APIs that are no longer in ICS.
