My Optimus V has stopped receiving a signal. VM is sending me a replacement phone. However, I've rooted and flashed Harmonia rom.
Would someone please point me to the instructions to return my phone to stock?
Thanks in advance
Probably won't get much good advice for that phone in the Nook Color forums.

Hi People,
Had my device 7 days now but a hardware fault has occurred so i am getting an exchange tomorrow, thing is i have flashed it with the HTC Rom as this was much better than T-Mobile's.
Because I'm sending it back should i flash it with T-mobiles stock ROM or leave it as it is. I don't know what or if anything will be said to me when they get it back?
What's wrong with the hardware if you don't mind me asking?
I think it's prudent that you flash the tmo stock ROM for warranty purposes.
Of course, you have to flash back stock ROM and stock SPL!
@ lude219 - The earpiece has stopped working properley.
@skycamefalling - Where can i find the Tmo stock SPL and ROM?
Thanks for the help guys.
Hi all,
I bought an used TMOBUS HD2, now the touch screen isn't working and I will send the phone back to tmobile for a replacement. I bought the phone with installed new rom and radio, but probably if I send this way back to tmobile will charge me for the new phone. Where I can download the original tmobile USA rom and radio? (I'm searching on the forum, but I fear I can download the wrong rom)
I've never done this before, I hope I will not brick the phone! thanks a lot
Question...
How are you going to return a phone that you purchased used? T-Mobile does keep records of the phones customers purchased. As you are not the original owner, I really can't see them replacing it for you.
You can find the T-Mobile rom here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=653938
and as you've never done this before, I suggest you read up on rom flashing. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=653614
There's someone locally selling an HD2 that they bricked by applying the wrong software update from HTC's website. Is it feasible to recover with the right methods? Does it depend on what specifically went wrong? Are there questions I can ask the seller to determine how likely it is that I can recover it? I'd be getting it to install Android and Windows Phone 7 on it.
The guy isn't very technically inclined, so I don't have any more details. Only, WinMo phone I had was a Bell Vogue, and that went smoothly for me installing a cooked ROM, so I'm not sure what may have gone wrong for him.
Probably need to send it away fro JTAG repair.
Can't be software fixed

If they only flashed from a ROM from the HTC website, then they must have used the phone's serial number to download the file, therefore the ROM was correct for the phone.
The only problem I can foresee for bricking is if they disconnected or there was a power interuption during the flashing.
You would want to check out the condition, during that checking put it into Bootloader mode. If it can get into Bootloader mode then it is not bricked. Loads have came on here posting that they have bricked their HD2, but they haven't.

Can you provide in better details what steps you took to try and flash a ROM, and what happened afterward?
A little more info is need; like what you did, your setup, and exactly what's not working.
I recently installed this Rom on my T-Mobile Vibrant Galaxy S and I cannot get any bars or signal to make calls. Im new to this whole flashing thing but, know how to add stuff and fix with directions, can anyone get this working please so i can use phone, if this doesnt work what can i do, I'm without a phone with no back up.
Well don't panic. It'd be best to check the forum from where you got the firmware, someone may have run into this issue already.
Alternatively just flash another rom, find one you like and follow their instructions.
