[CONFIRMED] Flash will be ready for Android in May!! General release in June!!!

Maybe many people already know this... but Kevin Lynch, Adobe's chief technology officer, said "Adobe expects to release Flash Player 10.1 on Google's Android operating system in May and then for it to be on general release in June. "

has been mentioned in threads here already. Im not sure if the bbc story was mentionned, but you might be better off looking for that thread and posting in there instead of starting a new one

glad to hear the quick news about flash, maybe that means froyo will be showing up this month too...
and, at y2whisper, the other thread was closed, because it was made perfectly clear that most people would like it turned off. the tapatalk notification is annoying as sin

Thats fine that they would, I opt to keep it on, only out of gratitude for the program and that about 10% of my posts are done via the program. should that percentage increase or simply just over time (unless there is some kind of upgrade) I will shut it off.
Mind you my motivation with it is that its xda specific and its how i found out about the application in the first place.

I agree it's annoying and all, but I believe that's how a lot of people know about the program. If everybody turns it off, I bet there's gonna be a bunch of thread asking what this program is. lol

You can always block people who don't disable the signature.

Admin is working with the developer to change the spam that the application places in the body of the post which is what annoys most people. They did not specify what would be done but apparently relief is on the way.

need to make it so you can assign a sig to it your self, or not at all.

But, if you reply with it, doesn't it just use the sig you already have specified in the forum?

They didnt say what they were going to do. What bothers most people is that it is amended into the body of the post and as they surf the forum they end up reading it over and over and over.... It sounded like a line break such as before the signatures to move it out of the body of the post would be a front runner. We'll see.

Hey, yeah WP7, um, in some ways its a great phone, like virtually no lag, easy UI and the quality is just good. But, in saying that, android can just do alot more, it has everything and more that you can ask for. WP7 has great protential, but compaired to other smartphones, its kinda a let down. Then again, i did use a motorola defy in one of the stores, and it was laggy as all hell, so i guess everything has its ups and downs. As for the name, i misspelled a word and then i kinda thought of it from there

I'm a n00b at pretty much everything except for rooting and flashing roms to phones, so I need a little help from the people that know how to do these things.

The only phone that has been successfully ported from WM6.1 to Android and WP7 is the HTC HD2, and that is GSM so it won't work with Sprint.

I'm sorry, I didn't know that it was closed source. I don't really pay attention much to it. I just like the UI, however I dont like that Launcher 7 has like 2 live tiles. Sorry for the trouble.

Will the Transformer support future versions of Windows 8?

After some Google'ing im unsure whether we will see future versions of Microsoft's Windows 8 Operating system on tablet devices such as the Transformer, or any Nvidia TegraII tablets? What do you guys think? I would love to see Windows 8 on my Transformer?

Guy above (and the one above him too) is right there are at least 20 billion other threads about this already.
Basic facts are that Nvidia demoed windows 8 running on a tegra 2 tablet on 1ghz and one gig of ram so it is possible main problem is the legality of porting a non opensource system and rewriting bootloaders

Quick answer? It took him two hours to get that answer. Much faster to just browse the first couple pages of threads IMO. But i also don't agree with being rude so I usually just ignore threads like this.

searching before posting is a rule, not a suggestion. It is irritating for the many of us who peruse these forums even on a weekly basis having to see multiple threads covering the same subjects, and quite a few occassions they are on the first page AND in multiple subforums. I see many say "don't feed the trolls", I say "don't feed the newbs".

Well if you rather argue then discuss that fine. I can be sure I searched the forums before I posted this topic. The matter is constantly changing with new information being leaked all the time. I read similar topics and basically couldn't find the answer i was looking for. Thanks guys ! Well thanks to the one guy who posted an actual reply. =)
